We visited and stayed in Keelby on the bank holiday weekend of April. Very friendly staff and made better with the good weather as we sat outside. Would happily visit again if we were to come back to Keelby. My partner’s a bit of a premium beer snob and said to write about recommending a more premium beer such as Madri or Moretti.

Friendly owners in a friendly village. Never eaten there but think it's just burgers which are only available on certain days of the week.

Called into this pub on the way home to Grimsby, the atmosphere in the pub was good, but don't stop here if you want a decent glass of wine. The choice of wine was limited and was cheap plonk.

I'm a bit of a regular here, so perhaps biased. However, I'm a regular for a reason. The staff are just lovely, the other regulars even though I don't really know them are also friendly. For a village pub it doesn't feel like you are stared at for "not bein' round 'ere". They serve a range of drinks and quality ale, that is clearly looked after. My only complaint with the drink side of things, is that they only have one guest beer on (which is rotated on a regular basis), so it is hit and miss as to what you get. The other standard ales are Cumberland and usually Mild. They do all the other domestic beers, but a good range. On the food side of things, they serve basket meals (burgers of different varieties, scampi et al) on a Friday, Sunday and Monday from 6. The burgers are supplied by Petits butchers, so quality meat. They are lovely. The best burger I've had in a pub. Overall, a fantastic place. If you are in the area, pay it a visit.

We used the pub for an evening meal whilst staying in the area. Having previously phoned to enquire whether they could cater for a Coeliac. It was Burger night which I admit didn't fill us with confidence. We reiterated our needs and ordered, the chef came out and discussed what she was doing and how she was going to ensure no cross contamination. When the meal came it was lovely, well cooked and presented. The staff were amazing and so friendly.

We stayed nearby at Lily's Pad for a hen party and needed a cheap meal so chose the local pub. The burgers were nice and the food was basic pub grub but decent. Bottles of wine were reasonable and the bar staff friendly enough. Definitely worth a look in.

This is real village pub with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Great selection of beers, wines etc. and regularly changing guest beers. The food is freshly cooked to order and only the best local produce is used. Whilst it not a huge menu, and it cannot be called fine dining, all of the meals on offer are extremely tasty, good value and portions are big. Always a pleasure to visit, and proud to call myself a "regular". Spot on.

Been here a few times now and we are never disappointed, the food is brilliant, all home made and they will make you items that are not even on the menu ! My hubby loves pie, but being vegetarian its tricky to find anywhere that does them. Well, look no further, the staff will make one in advance for you and serve with veggi gravy, absolutely delicious... service with a smile, very friendly staff and excellent food, what more could you ask for :-)

Drink here regularly - good selection of beers, lagers and ciders. Always friendly staff. On Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday evenings from 6-9 they serve a variety of burgers etc. to eat in or take away which I've done a few times. Really good when you want a quick easy tea or supper!

Friendly village pub with nice atmosphere serving food on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday 6-9pm. Have eaten here a couple of times and also had a takeaway. Not a huge menu but what they serve is very good quality. Particularly enjoyed the Nags burger! Good range of lager, cider and ales available.
