Small pub with a friendly atmosphere, decently priced drinks, and friendly staff. The selection of food you can order is small and simple, but, on the plus side, you aren't waiting long, and it tastes nice.

Classic British bar vibe I was looking for? I loved it. I loved the taxidermy and the displays and the whole vibe. Not too crowded for a Saturday night, either.

Called on a Friday evening, busy early on but a bit quiet later, watch the football being shown on multiple screens, very good selection of drinks and the staff were pleasant and helpful

Great pub for a few drinks and chilled bite to eat. Each time we've staff have always been very friendly and efficient, fast service at the bar and when clearing tables. The small plate range is decent. Good range on draught and the LEVEL Head beer is pretty nice.

Sorry it was last Christmas when I came in and I asked how much the hot drinks were and the person who I asked just replied rudely saying sorry we don't do them on weekends to be honest all the staff were really rude

It gets pretty busy on a weekend so you need to book. There is a great atmosphere. It’s a Greene King pub and they have a good selection of beers and the food is affordable. We had a table booked and the manager made sure that it was available for us at the time we booked despite the pub being very busy.

This is a nice Green King pub. A nice building with lots of little areas. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Decently priced drinks.

Called in for the first time in over 10 years for a pre concert drink on Sunday at 6pm. The member of staff at the bar was very welcoming and the prices were good, glass of wine and a prosecco for just over £10. It's a bit shabby in parts but not off-putting. I have need to use a disabled toilet and it was a bit smelly but not unusable. The door opens straight into the busy bar area which isn't ideal. Found a seat in an area down a few steps and the handrail was a great help. Overall I would visit again as it had a friendly atmosphere.

A good central pub to start in when heading into the city centre , only issue could be to some people the toilets are up a couple of flights of stairs

I went into the Museum the other day for some food and drinks and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was lovely. Definitely recommend this place.

For a chain pub this one is good. The beers tasted great, obviously looked after here, great work by the team here, in some chain pubs they don’t seem to care.

I’ve been here a few times in the last 4 months since I’ve moved to Sheffield, but after this Saturday night I won’t be returning and stop recommending it. I came here with my partner the first time and kept coming back because for a pub it has decent food and the atmosphere is cozy. Now, about last night and before I go on I want to specify I’ve only worked in hospitality in the last 3 years so I always try to understand the staff. Even so, I’ve never acted with any customer like the girl I’ve interacted with last night. Mannerless and aggressive, completely forgot I’m a customer and she has to maintain some sense of professionalism even though it’s a pub. It made me wonder if this place even has some sort of standard at all. I went in with my friend because from personal reasons I couldn’t go home, and thought about going to a place I know where we could just sit inside and wait a bit. Meanwhile, my friend went to the bar and got two drinks. She was asked if I did have my id on me and said that both drinks were for her. So the drinks were made and she paid £16 for both. She came back, put them on the table and sat down for a second. Because in the next second a staff member stormed next to the table to ask me for id even I didn’t even touch the any of the glasses. She said she will have to take one of the drinks, we said that’s fine, but then she proceeded to kick us out because I didn’t have an ID. I do get that, but the way she spoke from the first second to us seemed more like she’s ready for a fight instead of just informing us we need to go. Anyway, I asked if at least my friend can finish the drink she started and was told no. Keep in mind I have multiple face piercings and do not look underage in any way, but I guess someone on the bar wanted a free drink for the night so they got a fresh untouched one from my friend. We left and returned right after because I didn’t think it was fair for my friend to pay £16 for 2 drinks she never got to actually have and she felt way to uncomfortable and awkward to ask for anything from the aggressive woman. I couldn’t reason with the other employee I asked for a refund either because she was stuck saying “ I’m not doing a refund because you lied” even though again, I’ve never touched the drink. Like if you see me drinking it I would totally understand all this. The problem is they made the drinks, made the sale and as soon as the drinks were made they came and took one that was not touched. Pretty good timing I would say. For me it’s pretty clear what happened here, my friend basically paid for someone’s drink. Also, they should’ve checked both IDs BEFORE selling anything and told us to be on our way BEFORE money was taken, and everything would’ve been fine. This whole experience was one of the most pathetic experiences I had in 4 years since I’ve been living in UK. Do better.

Good service, however ordered roast chicken Sunday dinner, dry chicken, just cooked from frozen, rotten roast potatoes & a bitter gravy. Observation cress has no place on a roast chicken

A great spot for a casual drink prior to going for a meal nearby. The prices are reasonable, the staff are helpful and it's easy to find a table. It's also in a perfect central location, close to plenty of other bars and restaurants.

Called in this lovely place at random! Ordered the Katsu Chicken burger meal with a pint and it was absolutely out of this world! Never would i think of curry sauce on a chicken burger but its the nicest ive ever had! The staff are very nice & polite too! Will 100% come back and recommend! 5 stars from me ☆☆☆☆☆

Ordered the chicken wings which stated on the menu that they came with a choice of sauce, although we asked for the sauce to be served on the side they arrived covered in sauce, when I challenged this I was quite rudely told that it states on the menu that it comes in the sauce, it says with on the menu and regardless I asked for them separate. She said they could make them again but there would be a 10 min wait. I told her that was fine and she proceeded to give us the original ones back. Poor communication all round as we also requested mushy peas and were served garden peas. Not sure that she had listened to anything we had asked for if I’m honest. My son didn’t like the sauce and so left hungry which is disappointing. The member of staff who brought the food to the table however was lovely.

Stopped for a sandwich and a pint. Perfect but more coleslaw than meat in the sandwich!

Super little pub in orchard square. Food was fabulous all very fresh and tasty. We were so impressed we went for breakfast and dinner. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. We will return as it is now a go to place for us. Keep up the good work as your staff are so efficient,friendly and helpful!

We had a great experience at this pub. Food was delicious! The chips were so good! We enjoyed our dinner and everyone was so helpful.

Friday afternoon drinks sat outside . Didn't try any food . Inch's cider was cold and fresh . Comfortable tables and chairs , you can shade under an umbrella if lucky enough for sunshine. Toilets are spotless and well maintained but of course upstairs

Having just returned home from having evening meal in a pub ive gone in for years,i feel i must complain over my meal of chicken breast and bacon,the member of staff politely asked about meal and i being polite said fine, ,but after trying to eat a cremated piece of chicken and cremated bacon i put forward a complaint to waiter who never came back and totally ignored complaint,on my way out i asked him what he was going to do and he said nothing because id eaten half of meal, trust me the portion was that small a mouthful would have removed half of it,i wouldnt recomend to anyone to dine here

This was a lovely pub to go drinking at, with a vintage design as the name suggests added to by the chandeliers and wall decorations! The counter is beautifully presented, the staff are friendly and the upstairs seating area is more than sufficient. I had a refreshing bottle of Sol, sitting comfortably at a clean table!

Disappointed to find that they now only have 4 handpumps and only 3 in use, all with Green King beers. It's unlikely will that we go there again unless we want to eat.

The Museum was our Go to place being ideally situated in the City centre. However the member of staff who "made the place" left and the experience went downhill.

Schöner Pub mit riesiger Auswahl an gezapften Bieren. Atmosphäre ist sehr schön, die Preise sind vollkommen ok. Essen war ok, den Burger können wir nicht empfehlen. Das Patty war sehr totgebraten, dafür lohnen sich die Kalorien nicht. Pommes und die Sauce dazu waren aber lecker. Der Nachtisch war auch nicht so meins, der Toffee Pudding ist als Nicht-Engländer schon ne Erfahrung, die Zitronentarte schmeckte recht künstlich. Insgesamt würde ich sagen: mit Bierfreunden kann man hier nen schönen Abend verbringen und wer Hunger hat, wird hier auch satt.

When I was 17 and looked 25, I had a pint in the pub with my father (not here, I assure you) and thought woah hold back there good sir, how can anybody enjoy such a beverage. For many, their first experience with beer may not be enjoyable due to its bitter taste, but as they try different types of beers, they may find themselves starting to appreciate the complex flavour and aromas that it can offer. You know what, I don’t know where I was going with that. The venue, hub or social club if you’re from the south, if you will, was clean welcoming and certainly a treat to the senses. I was thrilled to see vinegar stocked in each of the boxes and found table five to be particularly enjoyable. The staff are attentive and enjoyed mild interaction, even baring with my friend whom claimed to work here in years gone by. He kept mentioning a husky, who judging by the staffs discontent had passed on to pastures new. Despite being incomprehensible yet the staff seemed to humour him. Great place you’ve got here.

I ordered the vegetarian nut roast dinner and it was the best roast I've eaten in a long time - was fresh, crisp, filling, but healthy! The halloumi starter was unique but the crispiest bites I've ever eaten! Honestly superb! Will be visiting on a regular basis 😊

Visited my daughter in Sheffield with my parents and wanted to get a nice Sunday lunch. We gave the the Museum a try ,definitely will be returning next time we are visiting ! Great meal and service , I can personally recommend the steak and ale pie with mash and gravy .We also had Sunday roasts ( chicken and beef ) there was a great selection of drinks available but sadly we didn't get to try any ..only coffee and cola ,next time hopefully we will ! Thanks staff for a great experience .

It’s a really lovely pub. It’s quiet and cozy. Me and my friends are having a great time chatting and eating. We ordered some drinks which are nice, but the food is not great. I won’t recommend fish and chips. Maybe because I haven’t had it for a long time and I really wanted it, and it wasn’t as good as I thought? I like chicken wings though! I hope they can serve food faster in the future. We waited for quite a long time…

Booked an area for my boyfs suprise bday. The service was amazing, the food was great and the venue was perfect. All our party were commenting on how fab the service was and how friendly everyone was! We were also adding more meals to our order, having already given a preorder, and they were so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Great stuff!

The Chef literally worked on his break to serve us! (We didn’t ask him to of course.) Incredible service and food so polite, would definitely recommend for sure.

Smart city centre bar. Good atmosphere and plenty of choice with regards to beers and lagers. Not many proper pubs left in this country which offer a comfortable environment without resorting to to food. Will definitely be back.

The food is good and reasonably priced. But, it feels a little cramped and we had to wait a long time for the food. However, this was understandable due to their reason given. Overall a nice place to grab some food or a drink.

Normally great service and good food. Slight problem needs addressing with bar staff as ordered a large Pino but the bar man used an almost empty Chardonnay first and topped up with Pino of which is a no-no for ladies who drink Pino.

Quality Pub, Good selection of drink and great atmosphere

This pub does some very tasty food. We always call here whilst out shopping in Sheffield City centre . Friendly attentive staff too 🙂
