Great stop for a meal before taking in the theatre shows.

Attended for food after visiting family. Food was good prices and very filling. The pie was huge. Service was very good and definitely worth another few visits.

The service was great, the food was dire. Paid nearly £15 for fish and chips cooked straight from the freezer. Wetherspoons gives you a bigger portion at a fraction of the price. Left feeling robbed.

Excellent Great bar/restaurant. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The chef was outstandingly good. Fabulous food. I required a specific dietary meal. The chef came to the bar and adapted my meal to fit my personal requirements. I would highly recommend this venue to everyone. The party of 4 all enjoyed our meal and drinks. The service was polite and courteous and friendly. All around an excellent venue.

My boyfriend and I had dinner for his birthday on January 23 in this pub. Everything was great. Pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. The staff was helpful and prepared a little surprise for my boyfriend. Thank you very much.

First port of call on our christmas pub crawl with friends. Sunday afternoon and turned out to be the busiest pub we visited. Still managed to get served promptly and only a short wait for seats to become available. Pricing of drinks was fair.

One of our favourites in sheffield when we visit. Dogs allowed so we take our boy for a visit. Great food.

Tuvimos un día en Sheffield y decidimos comer nuestra cena aquí antes de viajar de regreso a Manchester. Nos encantan los restaurantes Greene King, así que esta fue una opción fácil. No habíamos reservado, pero aún así recibimos una cálida bienvenida. Estaba muy ocupado y había un poco de cola para pedir comida, pero el bar se disculpó y fue cortés y amable. Había juegos para que mi nieto jugara y eso le encantó! En un momento mi nieto de 3 años necesitaba el baño y un miembro del personal me dirigió al inodoro para discapacitados por conveniencia. Lamentablemente después de ver cómo alguien había hecho un desastre allí decidí llevarlo arriba a los baños principales donde tuvimos que esperar ya que no había papel en el primer cubículo. Se lo mencioné a un miembro del personal. Mi hijo y mi nuera disfrutaron de sus comidas veganas Beyond Meat y me encantó el chile de champiñón tirado! Aunque una estrella menos para los punteros anteriores, nos encantó la comida gracias.

Excellent little place, very lively with a good atmosphere, bar staff lovely, food was delicious, would definitely recommend a visit.

Second visit to The Museum and it didn't disappoint. Due to the burger and fries we had last time being so good, we had the same again, so can't comment on their other meals but, if they're as good as the burger and chips offering, they'll be good.

Good place for a night with great ale and food

The lady I support to access the community wanted to go to The Museum Pub to get a burger, & when we arrived we walked in & there were just no staff present. I looked around & couldn't find anyone. We waited for around 15 minutes, I wondered if they were closed, but I checked the opening times on the website and according to that they weren't. Pretty poor show, we ended up going somewhere else.

Good service. Fair selection of drinks. Stairs to climb up to the toilets.

Food was of good standard and the taste was good, price to performance was adequate, burger was large but adds fun to the meal, katsu chicken burger was perfectly made and juicy

The food and service were really good. A bit too busy and noisy for us (not unexpected for a city centre pub), but it was a great place to eat before going to the City Hall.

Attended the macmillan charity pub quiz last night with a few mates and had such a good time- atmosphere was brilliant and it were clear everyone was having a good time, staff very welcoming and the member of staff running the quiz had a very engaging energy!! hope this becomes a regular thing, would for sure attend again.. proper selection of pints to choose from, food looked insane, will for sure have to order on my next visit 😋😋

Went to the pub quiz night hosted by Georgia for Macmillan Cancer, such a great pub quiz with a multitude of different rounds and some great prizes up for grabs. Definitely recommend it for anyone who is looking for a pub quiz on a Sunday night around Sheffield, will be stopping by again.

Visited The Museum for a pub quiz night, honestly the one of the best nights out and definitely the best pub quiz i’ve ever been to! Cheap drinks and a great selection, amazing prizes, bingo AND music bingo and the most friendly staff ever. 10/10 would definitely highly recommend to students, families and the people of sheff looking for a fun filled night out! All proceeds from the quiz went to MacMillan charity too ! What a lovely thing for The Museum to host, will 100% be returning when they announce the next one!

Called in the museum for a couple of drinks and a bite to eat late afternoon. Was surprised how busy it was for Wednesday afternoon groups of men & women enjoying reunion with friends..couples..lone drinkers made a great atmosphere. Really friendly and professional bar service from two great guys. They never stopped and you never had to wait long to be served. Had drinks and sharing plates and the food was delicious. Ordered the cod goujons and karaage sticky chicken plus fries really tasty and fresh and didn’t take too long. Enough for the two of us. Lovely clean and welcoming pub.

Very expensive, £8.80 for a pint of real ale and half an Anstel now they've done away with Carling. Do the prices go up on a Saturday evening? Don't remember it been so expensive before .There are cheaper bars in the city centre.

Extortionate prices We've always lived this pub but my husband bought a pint of real ale and half an Amstel and it came to £8.80. I'm sorry but we won't be calling again. All the other bars we visited we're far cheaper.

Food overpriced and vert small portions! Should have gone to subway b4 going there! At least the staff were friendly Upstairs toilets stink of pee! Gladly I get yo use the disabled when there's not a pissed bloke in it!

A uniquely designed and decorated pub to have your friendly chats and congregations. The walls are full of frames containing butterflies and insects and some other pictures that give the clients an ever-desired chance: to be able to eat in a museum while enjoying the sights and the items on displays. The staff are compassionate. The menu is quite full with options from English cuisine. The dishes are reasonably priced and more than reasonably qualified. The choice of drinks is very satisfying.

Haven't been here for over a year now, since my last bad experience (which attracted the appropriate review iirc). Just had a midday snack of tea and a BLT sandwich sat outside in the courtyard, thoroughly enjoyed it, excellent table service, big improvement 👍

It's a lovely pub in the heart of the City Centre. It's not cheap for a pint, but it's good premium hand pulls and lagers and a lovely enviroment if you sit in or out. Eaten there on three occassions and everytime we have been disapointed. Expensive and low quality. £10 plus for some nachos we ordered and the toppings was disgustingly sparce. Stongly recommend for drinks to relax.

What a beautiful summer day and it's time to have a drink after long walk. Good service even they were packed inside but I prefer out door seating. Not a bad place to have a drink.

Popped in on the off chance with my son on Saturday lunch time. It was quite busy but this added to the atmosphere. We managed to get a table and spent a very pleasant couple of hours having lunch and a couple of drinks. The staff were friendly and helpful. Large portion of pie n chips ( yummy ) but sadly no Hendersons relish to accompany it. Surely this can't be right, in Sheffield the home of Hendersons. Would revisit as we loved it.

Small pub with a friendly atmosphere, decently priced drinks, and friendly staff. The selection of food you can order is small and simple, but, on the plus side, you aren't waiting long, and it tastes nice.

Classic British bar vibe I was looking for? I loved it. I loved the taxidermy and the displays and the whole vibe. Not too crowded for a Saturday night, either.

Great pub for a few drinks and chilled bite to eat. Each time we've staff have always been very friendly and efficient, fast service at the bar and when clearing tables. The small plate range is decent. Good range on draught and the LEVEL Head beer is pretty nice.

Sorry it was last Christmas when I came in and I asked how much the hot drinks were and the person who I asked just replied rudely saying sorry we don't do them on weekends to be honest all the staff were really rude

It gets pretty busy on a weekend so you need to book. There is a great atmosphere. It’s a Greene King pub and they have a good selection of beers and the food is affordable. We had a table booked and the manager made sure that it was available for us at the time we booked despite the pub being very busy.

This is a nice Green King pub. A nice building with lots of little areas. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Decently priced drinks.

Called in for the first time in over 10 years for a pre concert drink on Sunday at 6pm. The member of staff at the bar was very welcoming and the prices were good, glass of wine and a prosecco for just over £10. It's a bit shabby in parts but not off-putting. I have need to use a disabled toilet and it was a bit smelly but not unusable. The door opens straight into the busy bar area which isn't ideal. Found a seat in an area down a few steps and the handrail was a great help. Overall I would visit again as it had a friendly atmosphere.

A good central pub to start in when heading into the city centre , only issue could be to some people the toilets are up a couple of flights of stairs

For a chain pub this one is good. The beers tasted great, obviously looked after here, great work by the team here, in some chain pubs they don’t seem to care.

I went into the Museum the other day for some food and drinks and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was lovely. Definitely recommend this place.
