The Mod Cod in Rochdale

£5 for small chips and curry sauce. They have a sign up saying a cheap meal if you ask and a donation. I havent seen anybody get one.

Enjoyed my chips and gravy. The chippy is very clean. Staff serving where nice. Will go back again very soon for certain. 💯

Lovely friendly staff, reasonably fast service...but the chips were limp, the curry sauce tasted like washing up liquid. The 'mushy' peas seemed like they were swimming in water. Had to throw away my food and make myself something to eat. Never again

Would recommend. Staff and friendly and efficient. One of other comments say there is a wait. That’s what you need for freshly cooked food. Def would use again. Had large fish and scampi with chips. Loved the free food idea for a friend in need that is on the inside of the door.

Terrible food, greasy, slow service, not worth the wait, food unfortunately went in the bin. Staff were very disorganised
