Chips were raw not fully cooked. Inedible

Ordered Singapore Vermicelli, was very tasty and had a fantastic lip tingling bite to it.

Ordered fried rice with chips but never had the chips delivered so won't be ordering from here again.

This used to be our favourite chip shop. Not quite sure why the fish has gone down hill . Or the curry sauce.. Hooefully the Chinese meals , are still good !!

Menu pictures below as the website is so hard to figure out! Extremely generous portions, please note that each item (eg. chow mein or crispy chilli beef) is enough for 2-3 people so it's excellent value for a family. We found that the chow mein was a bit wet for our tastes but the mushrooms and "special" mix of meats were all fresh and plenteous. The service is top notch and they are always pleased to see you and take the order carefully.

If I could put 0 stars I would of . went here for a chowmain got it home it was absolutely shockin meat wasn’t cooked onions wasn’t cooked n it was al slimey n horrible we ended up leavein it not a chance was we guna touch that would of had food poisoning it was discustin if it wasn’t for drivein home I would of brought it back wet n slimey n uncooked horrible food 🤮never again would of bin poorly it was awful wudnt recommend it not atal .

Awful. Was recommended to us by a friend, quick delivery but soups, main courses were utterly inedible. All food after a tasting went in the bin. We will never order anything from this Chinese takeaway again.

Just had a takeaway with a wide selection of dishes, delivered on time and all were very good. Fillet steak was particularly good.

Meals are fantastic, have frequent this place for the past three years. Best chippies as well.

Put my order in at 6.15 now 8.10 and still not arrived aragent staff on the phone do not order from the shambles of a takeaway

Lovely food here, hot and fresh.. with nice presentation. Can clearly see a bit of pride going into this food and packaging. A cut above most other chinese takeaways I've had! Highly reccomend. Will definetely be coming back for more.

Last Thursday went in got special chow main top meat was dry and over cook went in tonight bbq spare ribs was over cooked and edge's burnt been going there for some time now don't know what is wrong but time for me to change spent £40 on 2 meals waste of money

Ok spare ribs very meaty and right temperature also beef in black bean sauce with rice very nice and again perfect temperature best chippy around would recommend anybody to order from there 💯👌❤️

Ordered for myself and my son on the website, the wait was around hours, fair enough, we could deal with that but then the order was declined at payment. Waited 10 minutes, checked the bank app, the money hadn't come out so we ordered from another takeaway. As we're finishing our meal, the delivery arrived. I explained that the payment was declined and we had ordered elsewhere. The driver said it happens and took the order back. Within 2 minutes, the owner called me shouting down the phone, I explained numerous times what had happened and o didn't appreciate his tone as he was being very verbally abusive and asked me what he should do. I explained I dont go around making fake food orders and wouldn't have ordered somewhere else if I knew the food was on it's way. He shouted one last time and said he would refund my money. I did not receive this refund and text messages to his number have been ignored. Vert disappointed

Good food at reasonable prices. The portions are generous and there are some interesting dishes on offer. Several set menus are available if you're not sure what to order, plus there are fish & chips and such on offer. Good food and scored well for Food Standards hygiene (as of August 2022)

Honestly my favourite Chinese takeaway. Can’t say much about delivery time because I walk in and order myself, but they are always quick and the food is always amazing. Arguably pricier than your average takeaway but portions are big enough to make up for.

No manners , heard one of the staff talk to a child like dirt . Went home to a meat dish with no meat , rather have a stale crisp sandwich than this .

I wouldn't go anywhere else , absolutely 5 star

It really takes a lot for me to complain Just as the title says, took hours to deliver, i could of gone to China quicker for it myself I called to enquire and they answered then called again and they wouldn’t answer so rang off a different number and they answered straight away, obviously avoiding calls even though I was polite and just enquiring where my massively overdue delivery was. to add insult to injury they forgot to put in a soup and the ribs were pure fat and the chips average, the soup was decent but not worth the hassle wouldn’t bother with the Place.

Ordered at 6:30pm, arrived at 8:30pm. 1 soup missing from order and ribs were all fat no meat. Won’t go again and wouldn’t recommend

I would never order again from this take away as it took 3hrs for our food to come. Rang 3xs and never even an apology. Food was cold plus we had items missing

Takeaway food is tasty most times but delivery to home, which is a great facility, regularly proves to let them down. Invariably, we receive an order with something missing. When we phone back to tell them, no -one ever apologises except tells us they'll send it! There's never a little extra something one might hope would sweeten the mistake like some chips or salt and pepper wings or even the dish it was supposed to accompany! So as it is a regular occurrence, we needed to review. Gravy is inedible. Curry sauce tasty. Plenty of meat in dishes. So 3 star for flavour, 2 missing for inconvenience and one hot dish delivered to accompany a microwaved dish!

We ordered food at 6.10pm today, we rang 9times and 3 times we spoke to the owner, I was told its the delivery drivers fault (not the case) the owner who we have ordered from for the last 14 years didn't even apologise at all !!! Absolutely shocking we pay online and get horrendousservice ?? . OUR FOOD TURNED UP AT 8.15 WITH NO APOLOGY OR DISCOUNT. had issues before and I hope you are happy that you will loose customers as you don't deserve to still he open. Food was basic. AND WILL NEVER USE AGAIN !!!!!

Ordered thrice so far. 1st two order, had no issues and portions were worth the price too but my 3rd order which was just yesterday- portion was half of what they gave us in the past and my vermicelli tasted like they had scrapped the end of the frying pan when they did my order. Really disappointing.

If you want a midnight meal this is the place to order from!!! Ordered online and paid for delivery, phone no. and email address given, expected delivery between 19-10 and 20-10, phoned at 20-30 to be told l could pick up !!! as they were waiting for the driver who was new, l said l wanted delivery hadn't been informed of any delay, the staff member said they would call, no call received!! l phoned at 20-45 they said the new driver was there putting him on the phone, he said he was on his way. Food finally arrived at 21-00, The driver was very apologetic saying he was the only driver, this explained the delay. Felt sorry for the driver, can't say the same for any of the staff members. Lesson learnt stay local Hoyas next time.

Not my usual Chinese I come to so this is the first time trying here and it was actually nice, apart from the chips and the prawn crackers they tasted a little burnt.. other than that it was a nice meal.

The food served here are high end restaurant calibre. Waiting time is little to none and the staff give the customers the best welcoming atmosphere.

Fish was over cooked and smelly. Chips were ok just not enough of them. Curry sauce was runny. Not worth £6.65

Average food. Pushy rude service. Particularly annoying that they charge to use their card machine for a £8 meal. Pointed out they shouldnt charge to use the machine and went and got cash, next time he didn’t tell me he was charging and just added it on while holding the card reader so I couldnt see the screen. Money grabbing split links.

We regularly order from here and the food is ok. Wouldn’t say it’s the best but the order is always correct and the food isn’t to bad. It’s probably better than other local Chinese Takeaways which we have used. We will continue to order from here and would recommend Positive overall 👍

I definetly recommend you go here. All the bad reviews are clearly lies, and even if they are true then its unrealistically reviewed. The staff are really kind, even just having a cone of chips is good. Food looks greasy, but surprisingly isn't greasy at all and has just the right moisture. Has loads of flavours, just the best chippy ever. I would gladly eat here for the rest of my life. Some people say the ammount of time it takes for your order, it doesn't really take that long unless your getting a super big meal, one guy I saw was getting... what, 80 orders of like cartons of chips? (Probably a party) but overall if your order takes long it may be because of your size. Staff are so nice, customer service is great and you can even sometimes see what they do in the kitchen. All my orders have been accurate, and have had a nice price. I tried all the other chippies, this one is by far hands down the best. Thank you, Wing Lee.

The salt and pepper chicken was dry and overloaded with pepper. The curry tasted like cardboard and the chips were greasy. First and last time will be ordering from here.

Food not the best. Always check what you have before leaving staff call you a lier if anything is missing from your order. Staff can be very rude. Very pricey on food could do better.

Ordered our food and told us delivery in 1 hour, chased three times and food arrived 2 hours and 20 minutes later! No offer of discount or apology so cancelled and refused the delivery. Very unhappy and hangry household 😤.

Food average depending on what you get , found the Chinese food very salty . The staff are very miserable and rude rather not have anything than go back again 2020 will not be seeing my in there again

It was ok but the salt & pepper ribs and the chicken and chips was all swimming in grease and very little amount of meat on the ribs and about 8 pieces of chicken lots of greasy chips and the curry sauce needed salt it was tasteless and at £15.40 with a can was over priced too

only wanted some chips so bought a medium portion which have gone up 20p to £1.60 , if you shut your eyes and imagine mashed potato with oil on then that's what you get . worst chips I've had .

ordered at 5.45 pm told half an hour so imagine my surprise when after 15 mins a knock at the door. Food was correct as ordered good quantity and tasty will be ordering again . I am still staggered how quickly they delivered considering i am a five minute drive away from shop.

The food is what I would say average for the area there are far better Chinese take aways within walking distance, but the main thing is the telephone ordering. When you place an order over the phone and they give you a time to go in and collect you expect it to be ready. Several times i have placed a phone order, been given a time to go and collect only to find out the start cooking it after you have waited in the que and paid. defeats the object.

Great place to go pick up food or have it delivered to you. Easy to find friendly staff and all round great place.

I have been a customer of wing lee for many years and usyally they gave been generally good..friday evening i rang an ordwr through and they were quite happy to oblige . I gave the order and explained i wanted a meal and stipulated i wanted a vegetarian meal . They delivered and took tge £32.50 for our order and as we were about to took into the meal we realised that they had put prawns in the vegetarian meal. Anyway i tried phoning and got no answer . I phoned them on saturday explaining the mix up and they said we had ordered what they had sent. We explained that we wouldnt have ordered the sent meal and had not eaten any of it. They didnt apologise they didnt offer a replacement meal or refund..really dissapointed at the lack of customer service . I had for years recommended the takeaway but in future i will think twice about it. What would it have cost them to put their mistake right.

Salt and pepper chips are lovely and the drivers are great... and that’s where the positives end. Quarter of our order missing when first delivered and when we rang to let them know what was missing it took another 45 mins for the items to arrive which where blatantly just put back in the deep fat frier. When I rang to complain and ask for a refund on the refried duck (which was missing all accompaniments barring the pancakes) the gentleman on the phone suddenly lost the ability to speak English and hear what I was saying yet was still able to reply to my questions such as “can you hear me?” With a “no I can’t”. Thoroughly disappointed and won’t be repeating my business there!!

The worst Chinese around! The place only draws custom because there's no other takeaways close by.. overpriced poor quality food.. chips are never cooked right. The chicken used in the chow main dishes always smells off an usually has a wierd slime texture.. don't order salt an pepper ribs as you only get about 4 for £5.50 pfffft.. an don't even think about salt an pepper chicken.. just a soggy mess with a sliced chilly over the top.. an if u are disappointed with your order you can't exactly explain why to them as non of the staff can speak English.. .. The best chippy is pink lotus !!!

Had a Chinese meal delivered and it was prompt and the food was piping hot. Quality of food is good compared to other local chippys.

They don't put enough gravy / curry on their meals. Your left with aloud of dry chips at the end.. tite asses.

Very good local takeaway with an extensive menu. I like the special curry, very tasty with plenty to eat, it's enough fro two people to share with rice.

A very good and popular local take away, they have a large menu to choose from at very good value. Also not too far from the Lancashire Fold pub, bit of a bonus that.
