Have been around Greenwich a few times and I find myself coming back to this place the most! Lovely service from Gabe, he kindly recommended some great funk and soul records as I enjoyed a pint, would definitely recommend visiting!

Top notch experience - we stopped the night - shower off the scale, comfy room and good size bed. Ate downstairs due to lack of imagination, excellent food but high point was definitely the service we received from Gabe. I’ve dined in many of the world’s finest (and un-finest) restaurants but Gabe makes other servers look like casual bystanders. He floated with grace, majesty and good humour - I commend his work 👏🙏

What a find, went in for dinner, and found myself dancing away to jazz funk band Big Smoke Brass uk. What a great 6 piece band, the place was buzzing.

We booked a table to watch the Six Nations rugby. We were given a table with an excellent view of the screen. Although the pub was busy we served our drinks quickly and efficiently by the friendly and very helpful staff.

Found myself in Greenwich over the weekend and back in the Mitre. This time we had the fish and chips and they were delightful and nice a crispy. The pub was nice and busy despite the weather and service was swift. Couldn’t recommend more.

Came here for a Sunday roast and was disappointed by the vegetarian option. The nut roast was just a small lump of stuffing. They also had no non-dairy milk for coffee.

Great pub, had the nachos and they were very nice. The staff are friendly and professional.

Appalling Sunday roast, pork crackling so hard you could break a tooth, Yorkshire puddings flat and hard, potatoes again tough as a rugby ball and nowhere near enough greens. Wines were ok. Avoid for food.

The most expensive pub in Greenwich, really disappointed as it looks nice inside. Another pub in Greenwich that'll never see me again because of high prices

Came to stay for 4 nights in the hotel upstairs. Rooms were immaculate, housekeepers and hotel manager were all excellent with very high standards. Pub was lovely, breakfast cooked perfectly and team all very smiley and hospitable. If ever back in London I will definitely stay here!

Lovely bar but the food was pretty poor - The miso chicken skewers were all skewer, no chicken (and what there was was burnt and tough). What a shame.

Great pub! Right in the heart of Greenwich

Xmas works drinks and buffet. Food and service were excellent. We were not expecting it to be so good. Yummy grilled halloumi and pepper skewers, mini burgers. Everything was great except the fries... get cold quick on a buffet.

We stayed at The Mitre whilst down in London seeing Paul McCartney. We were welcomed by two friendly members of staff who checked us in and showed is where our room was and booked us in for an evening meal. The room was clean and had all necessary amenities. The pub itself was decorated lovely for Christmas and the menu had decent variety of choice. You also get 10% off for being in the hotel. Lovely shops and cafés a few minutes walk and it is an easy 5 minutes walk from Greenwich train station.

I run a writing group and 17 of us had our Christmas meal at the Mitre last night. Without exception, everybody commented on how good the food was. I had the full turkey dinner and it was excellent. We'd made arrangements in advance with Ian, the manager, and everything went really smoothly. We were assigned a dedicated manager, James, for the night who was ably assisted by Liv and the rest of the staff. We had a great night and we'll be meeting there regularly next year.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and tasty cocktails. Seems to have a really relaxed atmosphere where you can happily chat with friends and family over a drink as well as a bite to eat.

After a walk through the Greenwich market, we stopped by this pub to have dinner. Fish and chips with mashed peas was amazing. I tried a guava beer. It was a bit more soft. The environment is very casual and the staff is super friendly. It's also a hotel upstairs. No idea about noise or comfort. There's a church next to it. We got out just as the bells started swinging. It was a great experience.

I run a writing group and we have started meeting at The Mitre. They are really welcoming and the staff are efficient and friendly. There are usually 15 of us and everyone loves the place. The food was good and they have a good selection of beers and wine. We'll be going there a lot.

Perhaps it was a bad night. Didn't have the opportunity to order despite an advance reservation.

£7 for what looked like half a small glass of wine. I am annoyed I’ve not complained, but this place is a rip off…

I went there with my mum before watching a movie at the PictureHouse cinema across the road from it. It was Steak night. They have different themed nights. I booked a table. When we got there, the staff were busy and we had to find our way around the policy of just going to the restaurant area and finding your own table but which has been marked up as Reserved by a indicator on the table. The waiting staff were very good at getting your orders in and providing you your drinks first. The Chorizo sides were gorgeous. I found the steak very good. The atmosphere was just as you'd expect in an area buzzing with life in Greenwich. However, towards dessert the staff became remarkably bad. We had finished our mains and were expecting to be asked for the desert menu. When it arrived and I chose what I was intending on ordering, it felt like we had been totally forgotten about. I managed to flag down a female waitress and ordered a Tiramisu. It must have been twenty minutes later that still nothing had come to our table. We were very conscious that our film started in 20 minutes time. I flagged down the staff member who was chatting with other staff members at the bar now as everything seemed to have calmed down and asked where's my dessert! She apologised and said she'll find out in the kitchen. We hoped to get some feedback but alas, No! I decided just to get the bill stating to deduct anything for a dessert I never had and promptly left. The irony is that you have to indicate on the reservation just how long you're going to need the table for! The male member of staff was particularly good and quite hot. Worth a visit just for that eye candy 🍭 But the Chorizos are just Divine

I stayed for 3 nights in the family room, the facilities were fantastic, daily housekeeping, very clean. The food is absolutely gorgeous! But the staff are what made the stay even more amazing, so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you

Didnt eat as just having a couple of beers lovely and warm atmosphere. Must say feel for the staff eho were great as the church next door were having bell tower practice randomly every 6 or 7 minutes apart after 8pm for an hour.... too bad for families trying to get kids to sleep. Staff mentioned it effects hotel guests as well. Didnt effect our score for the venue.

I quickly stoppped by the pub this evening and had a great experience. Tia, one of the bar staff, was super friendly and helpful. She made sure everything was spot on and had such a great attitude, even on a busy night. It’s always nice when someone goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome!

Headed in for drinks. Enjoyed the live music they had on! Didn’t eat but food looked great. Prices affordable for London! Very friendly faces behind the bar. We were served by Megan who welcomed us with a smile. Would recommend and will be back.

I passed this place a few times before and finally visited tonight where I had a warm welcome from Tia the bar lady. Had a nice Guinness reasonably priced.

Enjoyed Sunday lunch with the family, good children’s menu and dog friendly too. Some good craft beers to choose from and good range of cocktails. Great pub whatever the weather! Edit: really enjoyed the seabass!

Nipped in for a very quick drink, staff excellent and happy to tell me about their different independent ales and was spoilt for choice between the three that was on offer, although was assisted by the lovely bar girl Tia for a decision. 10/10

First time coming to this establishment as was in London meeting a friend. We was served by a worker named Tia who recommended we try budvar. Which was not the usual pick but was a great recommendation.

I was served by a lovely man called Elwyn for a brilliant round of Sunday drinks with my friends. He was smiley and very attentive, made our Sunday catch up perfect!

- Service & Quality was above and beyond Popped into the Mitre yesterday on the off chance that they had space for Sunday lunch for 8 people and 5 dogs! The lady I spoke to (I assume she was the manageress?) couldn't have been more helpful, professional and welcoming. The team went out of there way to accommodate us. Sunday lunch was excellent and also the beers and wines didn't disappoint. The young man who served us was also excellent. Would recommend this pub to anyone, will be one of our regular local haunts. Keep up the good work guys you really made our day after being let down by another local establishment.

La señora con la que hablé (supongo que era la gerente) no podría haber sido más servicial, profesional y acogedor. El equipo salió de allí para acomodarnos. El almuerzo del domingo fue excelente y también las cervezas y vinos no decepcionaron. El joven que nos atendió también fue excelente. Recomendaría este pub a cualquiera, será uno de nuestros embrujos locales regulares. Mantenga a los chicos buenos que realmente hizo nuestro día después de ser decepcionado por otro establecimiento local.

Pernoctación mientras visita O 2 , para un cumpleaños de amigos. Personal muy servicial y acogedor. Coloque un globo en la habitación antes de la llegada. Nos dio grandes consejos de transporte para llegar a O 2. Precioso lugar para alojarse y cenar. Dormí muy bien. Gran ubicación y buena relación calidad-precio. Grupo de amigos todos muy impresionados y sin duda volveremos.

A large and welcoming pub with a great selection of beers and wines. Food is tasty pub grub with some high lights. Staff were pleasant and efficient.

The Mitre is in an excellent location for visiting the attractions around Greenwich and also well placed to use transport links to O2 Arena. Our room was spotless and comfortable , a good selection of beers in the bar and good breakfast choice too and to cap it all the staff are 5 stars all round.

Great evening, we were set aside a room and heated outdoor area for our birthday party.

Popped in yesterday for some lunch. Ended up going for the he fish and chips (table across from us ordered and it looked delicious) and it was superb! Reasonably priced and good selection of beers on tap. Neck oil was delicious!

I popped into the Mitre last week for bit of lunch and a couple of pints and was blown away by how hospitable and attentive the staff were! One young lad in particular - I believe his name was James - was an absolute gem, and made my experience truly fantastic! I'll be sure to visit again soon.

Just want to say a Massive Thank You to the team for what was a fabulous 50th celebration at the Mitre. The service was second to none the team couldn't have been any more helpful. The buffet food was superb and couldn't fault a thing. Apologies for the balloon mess!
