Great pub, great location with lovely burger and pint in hand.

A very nice place with very delicious vegan options. The staff is very kind.

Enjoyed Sunday lunch with the family, good children’s menu and dog friendly too. Some good craft beers to choose from and good range of cocktails. Great pub whatever the weather! Edit: really enjoyed the seabass!

- Service & Quality was above and beyond Popped into the Mitre yesterday on the off chance that they had space for Sunday lunch for 8 people and 5 dogs! The lady I spoke to (I assume she was the manageress?) couldn't have been more helpful, professional and welcoming. The team went out of there way to accommodate us. Sunday lunch was excellent and also the beers and wines didn't disappoint. The young man who served us was also excellent. Would recommend this pub to anyone, will be one of our regular local haunts. Keep up the good work guys you really made our day after being let down by another local establishment.

A large and welcoming pub with a great selection of beers and wines. Food is tasty pub grub with some high lights. Staff were pleasant and efficient.

The Mitre is in an excellent location for visiting the attractions around Greenwich and also well placed to use transport links to O2 Arena. Our room was spotless and comfortable , a good selection of beers in the bar and good breakfast choice too and to cap it all the staff are 5 stars all round.

Great evening, we were set aside a room and heated outdoor area for our birthday party.

Popped in yesterday for some lunch. Ended up going for the he fish and chips (table across from us ordered and it looked delicious) and it was superb! Reasonably priced and good selection of beers on tap. Neck oil was delicious!

Came into the mitre recently for some drinks, decided to stay for some food. James provided great table service and was on the ball! Will come again

I popped into the Mitre last week for bit of lunch and a couple of pints and was blown away by how hospitable and attentive the staff were! One young lad in particular - I believe his name was James - was an absolute gem, and made my experience truly fantastic! I'll be sure to visit again soon.

Just want to say a Massive Thank You to the team for what was a fabulous 50th celebration at the Mitre. The service was second to none the team couldn't have been any more helpful. The buffet food was superb and couldn't fault a thing. Apologies for the balloon mess!

Lovely time in The Mitre meeting friends. Once again Jackie gave me a warm welcome and recognised me from my previous visit. My friends enjoyed it too and said they would be back. Lovely pub, lovely staff.

I always come to the Mitre when in Greenwich for a cosy atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff. No food this time so can’t score on that but great for drinks with friends. Good choice of wines - recommend the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc! 😀

This is a fabulous little gem! The staff were extremely friendly and efficient and their recommendations of the food were accurate. We had the roast beef which was just superb. The bar staff made us beautiful cocktails and these were very tasty. The staff made this visit, they were kind, friendly and efficient and both was too much trouble. Great British pub !

Your search for a place to stay is over - book!!! You know when you get an invite to a wedding, and get all excited, a London wedding, then you think ‘ouch’ this might be expensive...then to find out that the wedding party was going to be staying in a pub/hotel...mmm, I had reservations, as I had no control over where we were going to be staying for a couple of nights. Well I need not have AT ALL. My expectations were low...I had images of a 'few rooms above a pub in central london'... I could not have been more wrong, and I shall be visIting again without a shadow of a doubt. AND the price was reasonable indeed. To give you some context, Mum (81 going on 61) and I arrived a little early, NO PROBLEM...the wonderful staff never even mentioned the time! Ian - the person with whom we had the most contact was nothing short of BRILLIANT. However so were ALL the staff there, from housekeeping through to bar/waiting staff - whatever you guys are doing to recruit and retain - keep doing it! We checked in - he shared again (although we had already been made aware prior to our arrival) that the lift was not working, and offered to assist with our luggage. OK so the stairs were steep and very windy, but we, or rather I managed. The hotel juggled guests around who were elderly (one of our party was 90 plus) to ensure they were on the first floor. The room was perfect. Beds comfy, clean, all amenites you would expect from a 4*+ hotel. Think central London pub, you think noise; wrong- fab glazing on the windows, no sound from any other room; I shared with my Ma, and our 2 singles were glorious, we both had good nights sleep. The breakfast was delish. Writing this review, I wish I had taken photos, but we dined with guests from the wedding party so it was all introductions and chat, less photos and commentary! The only tiny dissapointment was breakfast on the second morning...wasn't as good, a bit cold - still ate it though. There was 10+ rooms booked over these 2 nights...and the rooms I saw - a few - were all perfect. Even on departure day, Ian took our luggage out to our car. He actually even set his alarm to make sure he was in our room in time to help us. OK so I left a bag behind, but they were so quick to realise they got my niece to take it on our behalf. We stayed in room 204, and are looking forward to coming back to see you all again soon...Ian mentioned on departure that it's super convenient for the 02 so we had better getting booking some tickets. MASSIVE THANK YOU to all the wonderful staff, nothing was too much trouble...the service of a 5* hotel!

We had a party booking and had a brilliant time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered a buffet for 25 people and we had plenty of leftovers which was amazing. Overall, we had a great time, would happily come back as well as recommend to friends.

Hire a room for a business meeting and the place was great. We had a meeting room with a projector all to ourselves. We had lunch which was great. Would definitely recommend.

Very friendly staff and great place to watch the football. We popped in on a busy weekend evening to watch the Euro’s and the atmosphere and team working were brilliant! We’ll definitely be back.

Food was quite fine and service both fast and friendly. They did not have my preferred dish selection, which was a little frustrating, and it was a bit overpriced, but would still recommend.

To the owner, your staff are the laziest, most passive-aggressive, obnoxious bar staff I've ever come across. All on the go slow, losing you turnover. Have a closet look and sort it out.

Fabulous pub in a perfect location. I was a makeup artist for a bridal party today (28/6/24) and the team at the Mitre were so helpful and friendly. Lovely rooms and plenty space for everyone to get ready in their cute conference room. The food looked delicious and generous portion sizes too. Great job guys. I will be back for sure

I love this pub! I went with my family on Sunday to have fish and chips and we loved it! The atmosphere was top notch! Me, my husband and my kids enjoyed eating there! I highly recommend this pub to visit with your family!

Stayed for the weekend as went to the O2 for a show and The Mitre is fairly near. Lovely welcome, food great, rooms clean and comfortable. Especially enjoyed the chicken goujons.

Extremely noisy with music far too loud

We only stayed one night for an event at the 02 but this a lovely place right in the middle of Greenwich. The team are very friendly and welcoming. Ideal location for the O2 with good transport links. Outside terrace and beer garden were very nice. The Mitre is on a main road, but It was very quiet when we stayed with no road or people noise through the night. Would definitely recommend if you are staying in this area.

Stayed 2 nights and ate in the pub one night. Lovely rooms, very comfortable bed, everything u need really Ideally situated to get to Central London via train, bus or water taxi all reasonably priced or to go to 02 which is what we did. This is our second stay and would come again.

We spent a week here as a family and were very happy with everything. The location in Greenwich is unbeatable and is a nice change from the hustle and bustle of central London. The subway and bus are practically right in front of the door and therefore quickly reach all the sights in the center. We can also highly recommend breakfast and food in the hotel’s own pub.

We stayed in the rooms above the bar. Pub was a perfect base for us breakfast was great. Excellent location.

I stayed at the Mitre late last year, it's a great location for all of my needs on my visit down to London. This place is suitable for both business and leisure. The team here are absolutely phenomenal! Lovely staff and exceptional service, served with a smile and positive vibes. The rooms are modern, clean, and come with plenty of space. Nice staff and well looked after pub, stylish and looks to be gastro style. Only stayed for a couple of drinks but had a nice enough time.

I stayed in the hotel, which was comfortable and hot 🥵 shower was a big plus!! Plenty of space for a couple. The bar is nice, and with Guinness, I was happy. The food is typical bar food, but nothing special. Customer service was excellent with the hotel side and barkeepers. You can order at the table or bar and pay to add either. #TravelingAmericans

We had a room booked and the staff arranged it so we could check in early which was great. Also had a meal and that was also nice and the service was great.

Met family here over from Australia, lovely atmosphere, nice decor and friendly staff. Food was a slight letdown, had Hake and gunpowder potatoes which should have come with a sauce, but they ran out, had some tartre instead, tasted ok, but small portion, not worth the money. Other meals within our party were better, but no one raved about their food! Also, drinks a bit expensive for us, we live in Sussex, not used to those prices.

I go to this pub for the quiz occasionally. Every time I go, I have to wait at the bar while the staff chat among themselves, until one of them notices me, or decide to serve. The real ales are normally unavailable or limited to one, and on the odd occasion I've had one it is poorly kept & unacceptable. The drinks prices are expensive for the area. Poor quality all round. I would say the Mitre is one of the worst pubs I have ever been to & I wish the quiz were elsewhere.

Came here for the first time for after theater drinks. Lovely service from the bar staff. Nicely laid out tables which aren't too close together.

I have been a regular at the Mitre for the past year and absolutely love it here. The lovely Tia and the rest of the staff are just so welcoming, with a great memory for our “usual” which always makes us feel special. Food is also great! In all this public house is safe, warm and welcoming from the usual pub type places in the area

Just back from a 3 night stay. Great location for exploring Greenwich, staff all super friendly. Room clean and very quiet, despite being on a main road, bed really comfy. Bar food and breakfast were all great. Joined in the Quiz on Sunday night but stood no chance against the student regulars! 🤣 Would definitely stay again!

A very warm welcoming by Tia as I arrived at the bar for a few drinks who went above and beyond with making sure I was completely satisfied with the service which made the atmosphere absolutely pleasant throughout the night and I highly recommend visiting this place whenever you're in the area as you won't be disappointed

Was an amazing experience! Never before had I visited Greenwich, but the mitre inn stuck out to be one of the most welcoming places in the town centre. Quickly the staff especially one of the supervisors there tia came over and made sure I had everything I needed including the right food if I had an allergies and if I was comfortable all round if there was anything she could do to help my experience. All in all an absolutely amazing an experience and would definitely recommend to everyone!!
