Costa Coffee in Greenwich

Convenient coffee place well served for local trades people going to work in the morning. I usually get a tea in the morning before I go to work. Staff rudeness, As an older woman I don't like being called Madame when I buy a tea in the morning.. I've noticed that this remark isn't used with other customers. This is a derogatory remark. I am a female over 50 and the young staff in costa coffee seem to think this is funny. Don't stereotype people because of how they look because you are wrong. Don't target people on assumed status, treat people with respect. They pay your wages!

Convenient location- Charlton Shopping- in the Next store- first floor. Easy signage. Loads of seating space, and a good clean vibe. The staff were friendly and smiling. Big windows all around- so it is brilliant location on the days we have lovely weather. And ofcourse free parking at the Charlton Retail Park.

This place seriously gone down hill. Usually use Starbucks around the corner but their blender was broke so came to Costa. Looks grubby in here and there’s flies all in the cake cabinet. Gross

It's on the top floor of a clothing store (Next) which seems like an odd place to put a coffee shop. But I dunno, it kinda works.

Bought a Tropical Mango Bubble Frappé without mango pearls since they were out. It was the tastiest frappé I've ever had. Will buy again and with hope there will be pearls next time since I want to try that as well. The staff was friendly. I was a bit confused on where to stand once I had ordered, since we stand at the end of the counter, in Sweden, so that they can take the next order.

What arrived was fine and well packaged. However, two items were changed and were not what was wanted at all. Refund requested for these.

Not one of the best coffee I had from Costa.

Nice little resting place in between shopping. Also the staff were lovely when I was breastfeeding my child. No looks or comments on the crying baby either.

It is a decent size coffee shop, with a balanced environment. There were enough comfortable sitting spaces inside the next shop with wide outside view. The decor of the shop is stand. It is a great place to hang out with alone, friends, family or colleagues in between the shopping. The stuffs were helpful, kind and welcoming. I had the chocolate coffee latte, enjoyed it!

Best Latte you could ever ask for. The staff is very polite and friendly.

I asked for a black cold brew with sugar syrup and half the ice they would normally put in and apparently asking myself why that order was so difficult for the 2 staff members on duty to comprehend was rude but giving me attitude because I dared to ask if there was any cold brew in the fridge at the start of the transaction wasn't and then to serve a very watered down cup of cold brew with no sugar syrup in it at all wasn't rude at on their part . I have frequented this particular costa for at least 6 years and this is by far the worst service I have had at this location but not the first bad service I've had there tbh I think I'll travel a bit further in future and go to the O2 location or even the Odeon Greenwich location and give this one a swerve.

The Saturday lunchtime staff need better barista training. I asked for a soyo flat white and got an oversized, burnt, poorly steamed cup of mess. I would've complained if I thought they'd make a better effort on the second one, ultimately decided against it.

I went into this Costa recently buying a bag from the too good to go tackling food waste app. I showed the app code to claim my bag. There was an Indian lady at the counter. I saw her literally put in a sandwich in there the cost of which in full price was less than how much I paid on too good to go. They were closing in half an hour and had fresh bakery items but wasn’t offered any. I just think Costa shouldn’t sign up to this app if the employees behind the counter are not willing to tackle food waste and don’t have the same emotives. I personally didn’t feel welcome and wouldn’t walk in there again

We went there whilst visiting Next shop. We ordered two coffee and went to our table. It was well managed with proper covid procedures. However, our drinks came in a takeaway cups even though we stated we were sitting in. Anyway, not a big deal. We enjoyed our coffee with view of a car park.

This morning on my way to vet i made a small stop to the shop. Young lady with a sweet smile served me and literally made my day. She was so nice, so kind and helpful. Thanks girl with the short hair 😁

I come here quite frequently. I have recently had surgery on my ankle, so push myself round in my wheelchair. All the staff always go above and beyond. I thought helping people and customer service was dead. They bring the food and drink to the table, offer to move any furniture so that I'm comfortable. In my opinion they were great before I started using a wheelchair. That's why so many regulars keep coming back.

The 'fresh' cakes on show are always covered in flies. Last night the barrister spilled a lot of milk down the cabinet and on the floor whilst making our luke warm lattes and just left it there. Pretty horrible and dirty.

I really didn't like the service either the cafe. The milk was overheated and the panini was tasteless. I have a feeling these chain cafes don't care much about their customer, they have got their reputations and they don`t need to look after their customers anymore.

Been here many times as I really like the taste of the coffee. It gets busy as it's by the big Sainsbury's and M&S so if you want to sit in and can find a free table normally the first thing you need to do is clear the table yourself. It's annoying.

Great place, great service , clean and professional serving.

Relaxed, spacious and airy. I was working on a coding project over a cup of cappucino for a couple of hours and was able to get work done thanks to a lively environment and friendly staff. The wall sockets also came handy for charging my laptop! Definitely a nice place to chill out in the neighbourhood. On the downside, not all tables seem to have chairs, but when I was visiting, the cafe wasn't that busy, so it wasn't a big issue at all.

Visited this morning,ordered coffe and toast ... The person behid the till threw the butter on threw tray ,then threw the nives like they were hot... The tables were messy even thou the 2 ppl working were not busy... Really a step down fron the costa in the old next shop

This Costa is inside the Odeon Greenwich so ideal when you have time to kill before a screening. Nice seating and sofa's though I got a take away this time. Two problems with service on this very simple order (soy chai latte) and the only two members of staff I encountered.The lady taking my order was pleasant however having taken my Costa Card the points weren't actually added. I had to take my receipt to my local branch the next day who told me, when I was giving her the benefit of the doubt, that the till would have shown that the points weren't added, so she should have checked. Then the person making my chai latte was quite slow had to be reminded of my order twice... she was very forcefully cleaning the steamed milk rods but when you have waiting customers, surely that can wait? It was 6pm but not what I'd call busy so I think a bit more diligence would be appreciated. I didn't see any vegan cakes, biscuits or offerings having checked a few items so this is a trick Costa is missing out on and should rectify as a company. I would probably visit again when in the Odeon Greenwich but some improvements are needed.

This branch was excellent until a couple of months ago when things started going downhill. Service is now slow, staff struggle with language problems, pastry today was stale and the aircon freezing. Asked if the aircon could be adjusted or turned off but was told that nothing could be done. Pity, this branch used to be pretty good.

The Costa team provided exceptionally fast and efficient service when serving a good number of the 20,000 people attending the Hissing conference this week. We had a short wait at a very busy time. Staff were under a lot of pressure yet provided friendly and quick service for hot food and drinks. They were very well organised and demonstrated who team work delivers good customer service. thanks guys!,

It's a busy place over the weekends. Tables are not always cleaned quickly but coffee is always good.

To sum it up in one word: delightful! The staff are very friendly indeed. They give efficient and quick service, and make sure your visit is the best. They deliver the best food and beverages available in the area. If you have some spare money to spend, keep it for the marvelous coffee place. This is convenient and accessible as it is in Odeon Greenwich in the foyer.

I hoped to enjoy a coffee and a toast on my Costa gift card that I had earned from android pay but I was told that their online system was not working.The same online system took my visa card successfully. The environment was too noisy and air condition got me a bit on the wrong side . The staff was curtious and serious about their job. The coffee was of an avarage quality and the choice of food and toasts are poor.

I've been to this Costa branch a few times and I have to say the service is always excellent. The location is perfect for when I am in between appointments and parking is very easy. Peter is probably one of the most excellent examples of how customer service should be, great work sir. Keep up the great work!

Standard Costa coffee without the usual cleanliness. Despite not being overly busy the tables were littered with empty cups. The tables that weren't, were sticky and filthy with a desperate need for a wipe down with a cloth! Should have been in a better state considering the manager was present.

This particular Costa is always dirty, service is poor and chaotic ... I never get what I order and 'skinny' just doesn't exist!
