Fantastic Sunday roast, customer service exceptional. Went above and beyond for us (the owners should understand why) special thanks to Stu but also everyone as a whole. Won't hesitate to revisit again.

We arrived to a very cold room with no heating in the bathroom at all. There was no shower you could stand up in. Just ornate shower head/ mixer tap that you couldn't really use as there was nothing on the wall or a curtain. The vegetarian options were naff so went out to eat. (They didn't get better in Tintagel) The internet in the room was rubbish. The staff however were lovely. The room heated up and the vegetarian breakfast was yummy

What wonderful people, I broke down and ended up in there car park, they were hospitipal and helpful, we ended up eating there and sleeping the night until we could get a recovery vehicle. Super friendly, good grub, beautiful setting. There are worst places to break down.

Do not stay here . This “inn” is dirty , small rooms , uncomfortable beds , lots of stairs (no elevators - definitely not a place for anyone that is mobility challenged ) minimal amenities with broken furnishings and at least one condescending employee. Here’s some of the issues we encountered . The WiFi ONLY works in the breakfast area . The WiFi DOES NOT WORK in your actual room . You will NOT have cell service at the Mill House therefore having WiFi to power your cellular data is important - you won’t have WiFi here unless you stay in the breakfast area which is not close to where your room will be. The employee on duty insisted if you connect to their WiFi in the breakfast area it will work in your room - IT WILL NOT WORK in your room. I observed other guests also complain about the lack of advertised WiFi. Let’s talk about the room. Our room was tiny , barely enough space to turn around in . The mattress and pillows were uncomfortable . There was a layer of dust on the dresser . There were spiders webs . There was an actual spider in the room - granddaddy long legs . There was an exposed screw that I scratched my leg on where a drawer knob was broken off . Inside the bathroom , the toothbrush holder was broken and caused a mess with the faucet at one point . Also , there is NO AIR CONDITIONING in the rooms . On the day we stayed , it was very hot . The room we were assigned was facing the sun so it caused our room to bake despite have the curtain drawn and window open . There was a heated towel rack in the bathroom that was not able to be turned off (the hotel employee did not know how to turn it off either ) so that contributed to the heat . We ended up having to literally prop our room door open as it was cooler in the hallway because there were no windows . Please note , the hotel DOES NOT offer fans for the rooms on those warm summer days . Let’s talk about the premises . The carpets are dirty - the reception and breakfast area is dark and run down. There is minimal lighting outside at night therefore when we were unloading our luggage at night it was difficult to see . My sister was also injured by a broken rain gutter outside the reception door . She could barely see due to the lack of lighting and as she walked up the steps she placed her hand on the stoop post with the rain gutter attached to it . Part of the gutter fell on her shoulder /head . Because there were so many safety issues with our stay we conveyed our concerns to the employee on duty . We were met with dismissive remarks and condescending comments . At one point , the employee told my sister to calm down (my sister was simply conveying the importance of repairing the gutter that fell on her so it doesn’t hurt a future guest ). The employee kept saying she couldn’t help where the gutter was located totally missing the point it is broken, unsecured and a safety concern for guests . The employee also hinted that I must have broken the knob in the room where an exposed screw scratched my leg .When my sister explained how the toothbrush holder contributed to the sink water spewing everywhere the employee said she shouldn’t run the water so hard . Totally unprofessional. The Mill House Inn is a total dump and the employee we communicated our concerns to solidified that customer service is NOT a priority to the owners and staff . I recommend you AVOID the Mill House Inn at all costs .

In a word: terrible! I have never had such an experience. Just in short: We arrived at this pub B&B and were kindly received by an older gentleman. He showed us the room where we would spend 1 night. After looking around it was clear that this room had not been cleaned in a very long time. It was worse than some college dorm room! Everything was really dirty! (See pictures) The highlight is the bathroom: the bathtub looks so dirty that you don't even want to stand in it. Not to mention the shower head itself, which is almost falling apart. All of this is really a No-Go! The accommodation may be old. But that doesn't mean you have to neglect everything (especially cleaning). In terms of food it was far from okay. The only thing that was somewhat tasty was the goat cheese salad. The breakfast was very poor! The yoghurt and fruit are still the highlight there. Very disappointed in this B&B.

Pub Experience only What an incredible find on the way to Padstow, wasnt expecting to see such a historic place. So we immediately hit the brakes and went in for a wander. These pubs should be historically protected for their survival and story throughout the ages. A beautiful interior with a great selection of drinks and food including rooms. Recommendation Definitely put it on your places to visit whilst in the area. #garystribe #localguide #localguides #letsguide #cornwall #themillhouseinn #pubs

This pub was recommended to us for a carvery and it did not disappoint. Reasonable prices and a kids’ menu to boot. Nice, friendly little pub (we didn’t stay here so can’t comment on the rooms) and with Mena Dhu on tap too. Could’ve stayed for a lot longer. Dogs are allowed, which is a great help. Don’t forget to pay your tab…

Unable to comment on the accommodation Didnt stay over night. Stumbled across this place for Sunday lunch and wasn't disappointed, Was made very welcome with the locals too, food was very good and tasty, portions were not to big or too small. To be fair I agree with other reviews the building genuinely needs a modernization and tidy up and a lick of paint and im glad to help a small local business that is quite in winter. 👍

This is at the bottom of the hill of where we stay when we are in Cornwall brilliant place and love the ring game ! You have to try it if you are here. We come for the steak night this year and they were really nice . They had run out of one of the steaks we needed but compensated us for this.

Used to be our go to chippy but won’t be returning now under new management. Had to leave all of the batter as it’s now really thick, soggy and pretty tasteless. Mushy peas were completely dried out in the pot.

Disgraceful over priced food. Watery curry and overcooked noodles. Beef tasteless. All of itvwas bland - Would certainly not return for takeaway and would not recommend. Waste of hard earned money.

We pre booked this restaurant in advance for the half term holiday 2024. I got an email confirmation of the booking and a further email reminder which I confirmed as requested. On the evening we travel 5 miles to the restaurant to find it closed with no explanation on the door, website or social media. Communication with this restaurant is very poor
