Lovely food at reasonable prices

Coming to my favourite cafe to get my breakfast the service outstanding from the ladies in my Opinion the hunts cross metro cafe and from the cook to the ladies who served my meal is outstanding in every way 10/10.

We were recommended this cafe by a commercial repair centre close to hunts cross metro station and what a fabulous place it is ,best breakfast I ever had a full English called a metro I had the larger metro it was so fresh cooked beautifully ,I do consider myself an expert on cafes being a truck driver 45 years (this is no greasy spoon by the way ) its like a hotel dining room spotless clean so friendly as well spoilt for choice on menu and prices best I’ve seen but be prepared if you have the large metro breakfast it comes with toast as well make sure you are hungry fab place very friendly highly recommend.

Lovely staff, always smiling and chatty, lovely atmosphere and very reasonably priced, will definitely return.

Just come off the plane with the girls after having bad experience with food on holiday and found this caffe metro , we had breakfast and it was the best 😁 really nice staff , great customer service, great food and great prices . I’ve left happy going back to north wales 😁

Me and my missus went here today it was £7.50 for a full English and well worth the money. It should be called a gut buster. Lovely staff and lovely food.

Terrible service for my initial reception, order taken quickly, however cup of tea was served Luke warm, jacket potato was over cooked possibly yesterdays as inside was yellow and extremely tough to eat. Tuna was tasteless and watery and side salad was just a few bits of lettuce, tomato and cucumber. I would not recommend to anyone as overpriced for what I received.

I was in the area and decided to get some lunch, naturally everyones first though is a big chain but I thought no.. We have to help our smaller businesses grow. So I came to this shop and boy was it the best decision. The sandwich was completely filled and it was lovely, as if it was something my mum would make. The staff were lovely and so polite. Straight from the off, we were having a good laugh and the food was made with such efficiency. 10/10 for this shop. Sorry, I’d already taken a bite and then thought to take a picture 😅

The food has never disappointed. It can get busy which is great fir the business. But when ya starving Marvin.. You gotta either try hold it out or go elsewhere ! 🤣 Recommend this place to all .

My brother and I ate here recently the food was lovely,we had a breakfast each, a tea and a coffee and it came to £11,plenty on the plate,great value,nice staff.

Great value. Ample portions. Limited space, so sometimes you'll be lucky to get a table. No toilet facilities, but friendly staff. Recommended.

Sat morn, just come out of there after a Metro special- Awful in a word . Black pudding size of a 10 p undercooked, sausages like rubber, and never got my cup of tea which was part of it.Then had to w8 30 mins for my takeout order. It was like this last time I went in there , I said Ide never use it again, this time I mean it

Found bacon a bit on the crispy side for me but on the hole good was cheep enuf tho

Always come here and usually ok but young girl after handling money started preparing and mixing salad with her fingers no gloves or utensils and then continued to use her fingers to make my salad. It really put me off my food.

Great little place in hunts cross! It is very small inside but has a good size menu and food is great and you can always take out if you don't want to wait to sit. Usually go for a breakfast and it's good quality and a reasonable price and it always turns up on a nice hot plate. I would definitely recommend here for a nice breakfast or a lunch meal.

Only been in here for the breakfast but a good breakfast it was too. Small breakfast, with tea or coffee and toast for about £3. Fast friendly service too. Just been in today for breakfast Still very good and still superb value at just under £4.

Telephone order for takeaway not even started on arrival. Surly staff. Café was quiet too. Order was wrong. Declined two items from breakfast, no offers of replacement. Toast was sent out burnt. Sausage meat of very poor quality but the bacon was very thick and tasty. Sadly, there is no concept of customer service. Won't be returning.

Stopped off for some food on our cycle ride (approx 45 miles done), the staff were friendly and the food was excellent and reasonably priced too.

Been here today stood for 10mins completely ignored by 2 staff. Evidently busy but a quick we will be with as soon as we can would have been appreciated. Plain rude. Had a catering order for 30 and whilst I was there I would have ordered breakfast too. Never mind someone else’s loss is another persons gain.

I have been coming in here for years and there is a reason for that. Its nice food reasonably priced and a friendly service. It is also refurbished to a nice standard and is clean.

This little cafe was warm and comfortable with a colossal range of lunch options from hot breakfast, filled potatoes, paninis, balms, baguettes, soup and more. The staff were quick, food was tasty and the value for money was unbelievable. I‘ve never written this in a review before, but I think you could put your prices up. 😊

States they are open on a Sunday but they aren't very dissapointrd

I went for the standard Metro Breakfast which arrived piping hot in short time. Overall the breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Service was good and cheerful. But, always a but, I have not been here for a while as the coffee was pretty poor. Unfortunately it has not improved so I may not return just yet. Please improve your coffee, I would like to be a regular visitor.

The metro cafe bar,is a very busy place. You order a meal+ tea. And have it in front of you in three minutes. All meals are worth it. Keep up the good work. Myself+ wife will be going back.keep up the good work.

A consistently good cafe , Loraine and her staff give us a warm welcome . There is great menu to suit all tastes and food is cooked individually to order so you get exactly what you ask for no matter how odd ! The coffee here is outstanding and is such good value compared to the big chain coffee houses . This is very convenient for train travellers or bus users being only 30 yards from Hunts Cross station. Busy and rightly so as it has many regular customers .

We visited the cafe as part of our Jolly boys Sunday adventures. As part of our day out, myself and my foster boy(Smiler McB.) stopped off here for a hot chocolate and a cup of tea whilst waiting for our next train. I have never been to eatery anywhere in the world that has made me feel so welcome. My little foster child has cerebral palsy, ASD and PDA. I ordered our drinks and then questioned the price, thinking that they had only changed me for one. £2.10 for a cuppa and a hot chocolate? I was happy already. I’m not just talking about a plain hot choc.... oh no!.. fully loaded with whipped cream, crumbled flake pieces and giant marshmallows. Then a cheeky couple of Quality Street chocolates on the side... one each. This alone made us happy but then the staff began to talk to us, asking about our day and making a loving fuss over my little boy. These people were genuine caring people. Staff and management interacted with us, between serving other customers. We left one hour later, knowing all the names. We will most definitely be back again. Thank you for making lasting memories for myself and my little boy, Smiler McB. Peter (pops) and Smiler. Xxx

Good food good prices but got order wrong and the worst customer service I've had most probably ever #bulldogs chewing on wasps personalitys like a house brick!

What kind of place that serves food doesn’t take card? It’s 2018 not the 1970s, Bizarre. Didn’t have time to nip to cash point as I had to catch my train.
