Dirty O'Sheas in Liverpool

Called in for a drink,it was a monday evening so not too busy,maybe better on a weekend

Opened on Christmas eve which made our night.

Deeply disappointed by the blatant racism at this venue. My friend, one of the only brown individuals in our group, was unfairly kicked out by a female bouncer for not buying a drink within five minutes—a rule clearly not applied to others. This targeted and discriminatory treatment was humiliating and unacceptable. Management needs to address such behavior. I won’t be returning and will warn others about this experience.

Got kicked out of Dirty O’Shea’s for not buying a drink immediately, and the security guard was blatantly racist and disrespectful. The staff’s attitude was terrible, making the place feel hostile and unwelcoming. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

The female bouncer is extremely racist. She made my friend leave just because he was having a good time and enjoying himself just because he was brown. Never going there again. Do not recommend to anyone else.

The security guard at Dirty O’Shea’s was rude and racist, kicking us out just because we didn’t buy a drink right away. The whole situation felt unfair and unprofessional. Avoid this place if you’re looking for a respectful and welcoming environment.

Mi hermano gemelo y yo estábamos en un pub y bar dando vueltas por el centro de Liverpool en una fría noche de diciembre cuando decidimos pasar por Dirty O'Shea's , hemos estado aquí antes en muchas ocasiones, siempre lo pasamos bien y así lo demostró en nuestra última visita. Un gran pub de aspecto, el interior es oscuro, acogedor y acogedor, decoración y mobiliario pubby, esmaltes publicitarios vintage adornan las paredes, mesas de billar, un bar de servicio de madera maciza domina la sala principal, pantallas grandes para disfrutar del deporte y un montón de opciones de asientos repartidos por todo este pub, es solo un pub muy bueno para relajarse. Pedimos un guinness cada uno, estos se vertieron de la manera correcta, incluso dando tiempo para el asentamiento muy importante, nos relajamos y disfrutamos del gran pub que éramos mientras bebíamos nuestro guinness. Guinness servida aquí es lugar en , espeso, cremoso y lo más importante helado frío, era tan bueno estar en un pub tan encantador disfrutando de una cerveza de calidad y se sentó con mi hermano gemelo mejor compañero de cerveza en el mundo, aunque en nuestra visita el pub no estaba tan ocupado había un cantante actuando que era realmente bueno y antes de terminar nuestro guinness el pub realmente comenzó a llenarse. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestro guinness aquí antes de seguir adelante y aunque nuestra visita fue solo fugaz como en cualquier otra visita a Dirty O'Shea's nos lo pasamos muy bien. Dirty O'Shea's es fácil de localizar a lo largo de Seel Street. El horario de apertura es; Lunes a viernes, abierto a partir de las 15 h. Sábado y domingo, abierto desde mediodía. Vale la pena comprobar si estás en la zona.

Rude staff. Said they. Wouldnt serve me, and gave no reason, yet upstairs they served me fine. Dont understand why. Will never come back here ever again. 👍🏼

This is a really friendly location to meet up with friends in the heart of Liverpool. The interior is very rustic and the atmosphere is vibrant, especially early evening. The staff are very friendly and will go that extra mile for you, which is a real bonus. There is also a back area with seating, which emulates a beer garden. A top bar, you have to visit at least once.

This is a regular place I go to. Can relax , play pool. They have a menu for pizzas that I haven't tried yet and they have a smoking area at the back of the bar. Drinks are cheap, happy hour a pint of San Miguel is 3£

Gerente / seguridad fueron horribles esta noche. Dejó mi fronda por su cuenta después de decir que empujó en lo que no lo hizo. Luego fueron a decir que nadie podía entrar hasta que ella se fuera. La señalaban y la hacían salir sola y nos dejaban entrar a todos. Nos negamos a entrar sin ella y luego el gerente de jengibre se quedó en el suelo y fue grosero con todo el grupo. Mi amigo no hizo nada malo y se pelearon sin razón. ¡Un lugar terrible nunca volvería!

Me uní a la cola con mis amigos y me acusaron de empujar y cortar la línea. El gerente no quiso escuchar cuando le dijimos que hemos estado haciendo cola por un tiempo y se negó a dejarme entrar. Me señaló y me dijo que me pusiera en la cola de nuevo por mí mismo y no dejó entrar a nadie hasta que me fui. Me uní a la cola de nuevo después de su comportamiento mezquino y como resultado de estar solo fui acosado por un grupo de hombres mayores en la cola. He tenido una experiencia terrible debido a un gerente terrible. Terminé sin entrar debido a que me acosaron y me fui del lugar. No recomendaría ni volvería a un lugar que tenga tales gerentes.

Great place to visit while in Liverpool, I did not rate the food as we did not eat while we were there, good drink prices, £2.80 for a pint of Guinness

Me encanta el aspecto de este pub, el interior es magnífico, oscuro y acogedor, un bar de servicio de madera maciza domina la sala principal, decoración y mobiliario del pub, todo el bric irlandés un brac adornando las paredes y el techo que esperaría encontrar en un buen pub irlandés, mesas de billar, pantallas grandes para disfrutar del deporte y un montón de opciones de asientos repartidos por todo este pub, es solo un pub muy bueno para relajarse. Estábamos aquí un domingo por la tarde, pub estaba ocupado con un gran ambiente, pedimos un guinness cada uno, estos se sirvieron en excelentes condiciones, servido de la manera correcta, incluso dando tiempo para el asentamiento muy importante, nos relajamos y empapamos de la gran vibra en este pub ocupado y popular. Mi guinness era realmente bueno, un guinness frío espeso, cremoso y lo más importante helado lleno de sabor y muy fácil de beber, era tan bueno estar en un pub tan encantador disfrutando de una cerveza de calidad y se sentó con mi gemelo, mejor compañero de cerveza del mundo. Ambos disfrutamos mucho de nuestra guinness aquí antes de seguir adelante y aunque nuestra visita fue solo fugaz como en cualquier otra visita a Dirty O'Sheas Pub nos lo pasamos muy bien. Security are disgusting. My friend was choked to the ground one night in 2023 for taking a glass outside by a black security man. I believe the same security guard pushed me down steps for doing the same thing and just laughed. Have sought legal advice and reporting them to SIA. This company should hire real bouncers.

Popped in Saturday while the Rugby was on, lively and bouncing with Ireland winning. Guiness was flying, good selection at the bar.

Absolutely terrible got kicked out after 5 seconds having only been in there 3 times I’ve bought loads of drinks (surely helping them out) and whilst I was queuing up one night manager came up to me you follow me outside I said sure and wasn’t allowed back in terrible service random selection and separated me from my mates and then it was really awkward so thank you for a really bad night

My friend Owen was seemingly kicked out for no reason; we had been indoors for less than five minutes and while queuing up a supposed manager with all his mates appeared from behind us in the queue to the bar and kicked my friend out for no reason, when I attempted to contact the manager for further inquiry the staff behind the bar were unhelpful and dismissive. Clearly the club is run for and by the managers mates and they seemingly get what they want, exerting their power on random members of the public for no reason. Ruined a fun university social night out as my friend was singled out needlessly, and so me and him were forced to leave the rest of our group as the security refused him entry for no reason . Will not be returning.

Pub and bar hopping around this part of the city on a bitterly cold January night my twin brother and I decided to drop into Dirty O'Sheas been to this Irish pub quite a few times over the years, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. A great looking Irish pub ,interior is superb, an eye catching serving bar dominates the main room, eclectic decor and furnishings, all the bric a brac adorning the walls you would expect to find in a good Irish pub, pool tables, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, its a great pub to unwind in . We ordered a guinness each, these were poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub. My guinness was absolutely superb, thick,creamy and most importantly iced cold, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality pint of the black stuff and sat with my twin brother ,best beer companion in the world. We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Dirty O'Sheas is easy to locate along Seel Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday,open from 3pm. Friday to Sunday, open from midday. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Dirty O'Shea's on Seel street is an excellent Irish pub that offers a superb range of well priced drinks and is a great place to watch live sport.Located on a street where theres many pubs/bars and restaurants'this area is one of the liveliest areas in the city and a great area for a late drink. This brilliant Irish pub has a superb interior with a brick-walled interior with nice decor and furnishings and many interesting items throughout the whole interior.There's many interesting fixtures and features and great seating areas and a pool table and on our visit there was live music. When we visited here we had a few glasses of Guinness which where superb and really well priced considering the place we were in and the area.A superb Irish pub that's in a superb area and so easy to find from the bus stop at Seel street its a short walk.(This is my fourth review of Dirty O'Shea's). Very nice place,but prices increased alo ,on December Blue Moon beer was£ 2.80 now£ 5.30 in January. Why???

The guy in the toilet who asks for money will be verbally abusive if you don’t give him any and will use a card machine if you don’t have cash.

I have been quite drunk in here quite frequently. Great pool table in the smokers, just needs £10 deposit and it’s free pool all night. Only downside is it’s a bit pricey at the weekend.

Great pints and atmosphere great for the footy and pool

Decent pub, average Guinness but George behind the bar was a bit of knob and doesn't take MasterCard "we don't take it lad".

Me and my wife stopped in here for a few pints while out in Liverpool recently and they had a live musician playing. He was brilliant and added to a really good atmosphere. It was easy enough to get served at the large bar and the prices were reasonable. A really good pub!

Came in as the house music was good had a fewpints listening to two excellent singer guitarists..met some great folkes and danced..

On a really hot July Thursday afternoon my twin brother Stephen and I were walking down Seel Street when we decided to drop into Dirty O'Shea's and what another great visit we had. A great looking pub ,main room dominated by a solid wood serving bar ,pubby decor and furnishings ,all the Irish bric a brac adorning the walls you would expect to find in a good Irish pub,pool tables,big screens to enjoy the sport and there's lots of seating options spread throughout this pub ,it's a great place to chill out in. We ordered a guinness each ,these were poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle ,we kicked back ,chilled out and took in the great pub we were in while sipping our guinness . Guinness served in here was really good ,thick,creamy and most importantly served freezing cold,they certainly know how to keep and serve a good guinness in this pub. We really enjoyed our guinness in here before we moved on and as on every previous visit to here we had a great time. Dirty O'Shea's is easy to locate along Seel Street. Sam was amazing! Gave us lovely drinks and had a great personally. However I wouldn’t recommend this place. Really rude manager and wouldn’t play arctic monkeys.

Walking down Seel Street as temperatures dipped into the minus on a bitterly cold night my twin brother Stephen and I dropped into Dirty O'Sheas and what a very pleasant time we had. A wonderful looking Irish pub ,interior is superb ,an eye catching serving bar ,pubby decor and furnishings,all the Irish bric a brac adorning the walls you would expect yo find in a good Irish pub ,big screens to enjoy the sort,pool tables and lots of seating options ,it a great pub to unwind in . We ordered Coors Brewery lager ,these were served freezing cold ,we chilled out ,warmed up while sipping our beers. Not my normal tipple ,more a real ale and craft beer fan myself but this lager was iced cold and sparkling and just so easy to drink ,it was just so good being in such a great pub enjoying a really delicious beer. Dirty O'Shea's on Seel street is an excellent Irish pub that offers a brilliant drinks range and is one of the many Irish pub's and bars located in the city centre.This is a fantastic Irish pub in a superb area in the city centre were are are many pubs and bars and can get very lively around this area. This superb Irish pub has a traditional Irish pub interior with many interesting feature's throughout the whole pubs interior relating to Ireland.There is a superb pool room that is always busy when we visit and theres lots of good seating area's throughout the pub interior and is a joy to visit. We went here fairly early in the night and it was really lively as they where showing live sport.When we visited here we had a glass of Coors brewery lager's a beer I normally don't have but it was very refreshing and it was well priced.This is a fantastic Irish pub in a superb area and is easy to get to from Seel street bus stop its a short walk.(This is my third review of Dirty O'Shea's). Stopped in fir a beer on way to a different place. It has some character and potential. It feels new and doesn’t have that worn in pub look yet. It was early when I visited to pretty quite. Good beer.

We were here on a Thursday evening ,we ordered a guinness each ,these were served in excellent condition,poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle,we just kicked back and took in the great pub we were in. My guinness was really good ,a thick,creamy and most vitally an iced cold guinness,so tasty,so refreshing,it was just so good being in such a lively and popular pub enjoying a quality pint of the black stuff. We really enjoyed our guinness in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. A great looking Irish themed pub on the outside and even better inside. A good choice of beer on tap, pool tables and you are spoilt for choice when it comes to screens for the footy! The evening I was there (a Wednesday), they had live music too. Walk in, grab a drink, take a seat and enjoy.

October 5th and my twin brother Stephen and I decided to jump the train down from Kirkby to Liverpool City Centre and celebrate our 56th birthday visiting some of the great pubs our city possesses, Dirty O'Sheas Pub is a particular favourite of ours. This is a big Irish pub, the interior is as traditional as it gets, all the Irish bric a brac adorning in the walls and ceiling you would expect to find in a good Irish pub a solid wood serving bar, tv's and big screens to enjoy the sport, pool tables and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside in their courtyard out back, its a proper good Irish pub. We were here on a Tuesday afternoon, we were greeted with a smile by a very pleasant member of the bar team, pub was just starting to get busy, we ordered a guinness, these were poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle, we took our guinness into the courtyard and just settled down . My guinness was absolutely superb, a thick, creamy and most importantly iced cold guinness bursting with taste, on a really hot but rainy afternoon a totally refreshing brew, I would go so far as to say that Dirty O'Sheas Pub serves one of the best pints of guinness in Liverpool. We only stayed for the one guinness before we moved on to the next pub but as on previous visits to Dirty O'Sheas Pub we had a great time. Dirty O'Sheas Pub is easy to locate along Seel Street. Went for a drink with my husband on a Saturday and was greeted at the door by a very welcoming man with a beard any man would be jealous of as my husband was. We even returned the following day before we left liverpool for the good banter. Well done stefen. And from my husband keep that groomed and keep up the good work.
