This is a really friendly location to meet up with friends in the heart of Liverpool. The interior is very rustic and the atmosphere is vibrant, especially early evening. The staff are very friendly and will go that extra mile for you, which is a real bonus. There is also a back area with seating, which emulates a beer garden. A top bar, you have to visit at least once.

Manager / security were awful tonight. Left my frond on her own after saying she pushed in which she didn’t. They then went to say that no one was allowed in until she left. They were singling her out and making her go off on her own and letting us all in. We refused to go in without her and then the ginger manager stood at the dirt and was rude to the whole group. My friend did nothing wrong and they picked a fight for no reason. Terrible place would never return!!

I joined the queue with my friends and was accused of pushing in and cutting the line. The manager wouldn't listen when we told him we have been queueing for a while and refused to let me in. He singled me out and told me to get in the queue again by myself and wouldn't let anyone in till i left. I joined the queue again after his petty behaviour and as a result of being alone I was harassed by a group of older men in the queue. I have had a terrible experience due to a terrible manager. I ended up not going in due to being harassed and left the place. I would not recommend and will not be returning to a place that has such managers.

My twin brother Stephen and I were pub hopping around this part of the city when we decided to drop into Dirty O'Sheas Pub, been here before on many occasions, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. I love the look of this pub, interior is superb, dark and cosy, a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, pubby decor and furnishings, all the Irish bric a brac adorning the walls and ceiling you would expect to find in a good Irish pub, pool tables, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, its just a really good pub to unwind in. We were here on a Sunday afternoon, pub was busy with a great atmosphere, we ordered a guinness each, these were served in excellent condition, poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub. My guinness was really good, a thick, creamy and most importantly iced cold guinness bursting with taste and very easy to drink, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin, best beer companion in the world. We both really enjoyed our guinness in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to Dirty O'Sheas Pub we had a great time. Dirty O'Sheas Pub is easy to locate along Seel Street, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants and some amazing architecture. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, open from 3pm. Friday to Sunday, open from midday. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Security are disgusting. My friend was choked to the ground one night in 2023 for taking a glass outside by a black security man. I believe the same security guard pushed me down steps for doing the same thing and just laughed. Have sought legal advice and reporting them to SIA. This company should hire real bouncers.

My friend Owen was seemingly kicked out for no reason; we had been indoors for less than five minutes and while queuing up a supposed manager with all his mates appeared from behind us in the queue to the bar and kicked my friend out for no reason, when I attempted to contact the manager for further inquiry the staff behind the bar were unhelpful and dismissive. Clearly the club is run for and by the managers mates and they seemingly get what they want, exerting their power on random members of the public for no reason. Ruined a fun university social night out as my friend was singled out needlessly, and so me and him were forced to leave the rest of our group as the security refused him entry for no reason . Will not be returning.

October 5th and my twin brother Stephen and I decided to jump the train down from Kirkby to Liverpool City Centre and celebrate our 56th birthday visiting some of the great pubs our city possesses, Dirty O'Sheas Pub is a particular favourite of ours. We were here on a Tuesday afternoon, we were greeted with a smile by a very pleasant member of the bar team, pub was just starting to get busy, we ordered a guinness, these were poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle, we took our guinness into the courtyard and just settled down . My guinness was absolutely superb, a thick, creamy and most importantly iced cold guinness bursting with taste, on a really hot but rainy afternoon a totally refreshing brew, I would go so far as to say that Dirty O'Sheas Pub serves one of the best pints of guinness in Liverpool. Horrible - worst bar in Liverpool Just been shouted at for standing up while a song was playing, apparently there’s “social distancing” but people are playing pool in the corner and bouncing over there to tunes and hugging everywhere, I’m at a table with my friends. The tone the staff took was completely unnecessary. To top off the experience, the bar staff put a drink down and spilt it all over my friend - didn’t even offer a replacement while the rest of the staff cried laughing behind the bar. (It was funny but still ;)) Worst experience ever - don’t spend your money here guys!

I booked this last minute for my daughter’s 21 for drinks. We originally wanted the back room but finally when we went to book it the back room was no longer available. Amy was so good to us & offered us space in the main bar. We were a bit apprehensive on how this would work but when we arrived on the night it was perfect. The room layout was perfect, with a sectioned reserved area. The bar staff worked really hard on the night & the resident DJ made it a great night. The food was amazing & loads of it! I don’t know how the kitchen managed it especially because they had another party in the back room and the food service was so close together! A big thank you to all the staff for helping us sort everything out in such a short time frame. Would highly recommend it!
