Nice crackin little pub with a good atmosphere

If you like noisy, lively, busy Karaoke laden pubs with wall to wall Scousers (I'm a Mancunian) then this pub is for you. No airs and graces, just folk having a good time. I can't recall pub prices )it had been a long day ...., but I don't recall being shocked. So there you are, good friendly banter. If that's what you like, you're sorted.

Me and my friend Christine, went to Liverpool, and we visited the pub, while we were there, and the pub was so lovely, we had a great time, and we're going back next year, 😁

Always have a laugh in here just a shame it wasn't bigger as you don't always get a seat Great atmosphere here always and some amazing singers and some not so much but you will have a great time guaranteed

Reading some of the bad reviews on here I thought I'd add a review as a local. One complaining that she was questioned about bringing her own drinks into the pub an also admits bringing her own cordial in. Its a pub! they sell drinks Would you bring a packed lunch to a restaurant? No. Another about bringing under aged kids in again and saying its over 21 only. its over 18s again its a pub in the city centre. Another saying someone tried to double charge them then got a big bouncer involved haha... bar staff would gain nothing from double charging your card The big bouncer is the assistant manager what else are they supposed to do when there's a problem? Coopers is a boss little pub with great staff and you always have a laugh there. it can get really busy at times other than that its great

A pub with may colourful characters both customers staff and landlady , .Great music and very friendly liverpool people .Good beer in plentiful flow ! Enjoyed the atmosphere and would visit again .The pub still holds on to the liverpool culture thank god ! .The down side was the slight lack of clean floors and tables which could not be moved due to the sticky nature of the floor !

Came to Liverpool for a day sesh and this was the best pub we went to, great atmosphere, friendly, cheap beer (well cheaper than most) even got to sing on karaoke met some lovely people xx would defo go again well done coopers we need more pubs like yours xx

Had one drink and left the entire place gives me clinical depression so avoid at all costs folks. It should have been shut down years ago so quite why it's still open is beyond me.

Proper pub,loud and brash and in your face.

Brilliant atmosphere, friendly staff, very welcoming. The pub is small but do not judge it is a cracking little place with live singers all day. Will be back when we visit Liverpool again.

Just arrived in Liverpool with my husband and 2 sons. Refused to be served 2 cokes as my son was 17 .NO license for under 18 s. We were all embarrassed to say the least and felt very unwelcome, poor start to our Liverpool stay. Never known this rule before!!!! In a local pub...... Shame as read so many positive comments.

Another great night in Liverpool went out for dinner and then we came to coopers for a few drinks, very friendly people brilliant night with talented singers, we loved listening to the karaoke best place to be in Liverpool

Karaoke bar not usually my thing but I went in, before it started. Looks small from outside but like the tardis seems a lot bigger in. Pint was ok

If you are in Liverpool you must must go here, Peter Kay has nothing on this pub ! I don’t remember the karaoke song but something to do with slot machines…. I have never been so entertained in my life, am still crying with laughter …. The characters here are worthy of a TV show … A grt nite … thanku !!!

Like a lot of old fashioned ale houses small compact and friendly...worth a visit reckon there's a good sing song in there of an evening.

A hidden gem which should not be missed - it's a one off which, if you like music, has to be experienced. Prepare to be surprised if not gob smacked!

If you love karaoke, then this is the best place for it. The pub is literally always busy. The toilets desperately need an update. But apart from that. It's a welcoming place with a great atmosphere.

One of the best pubs for atmosphere in the whole of Liverpool. Get there early because it's quite small and get full really quickly.

Great pub filled with real characters. Had not been for a while. My mate and I had a super time. One of the lady singers was truly exceptional! Could have given a proper concert 👏👍

After seeing this bar on FB we decided to go to this bar on our visit to Liverpool a party of 6 ages range 55 to 75 .Called in Fri 5th April and were treated disgustingly ,had a bottle if water in my small handbag for takung my medication back at hotel water was sealed bottle and was accused of having somwthing in it ,my friend got shouted at for putting her sugar free black currant in her own Cider,we understand there are people who do ambigous things but we were 6 people on a wkend away there sre ways of asking people and certsinly not the way we were talked to shouted at across the bar what was i doing in my handbag ? So embarrissing I was getting a tissue from the back pocket I would hate to think visitors to scotland were treated like thus when visiting ,we will certsinly be telling people to avoid this bar thank god every other bar we visited over the wkend was complete opposite

The pub was packed to the gills. The clientele were infused with all they had imbibed already, yet the 2 Ladies who served the punters with drinks had total control over who should be allowed a drink and those who shouldn’t. They worked seamlessly to ensure all their customers didn’t wait too long to be served. Their fun and professional attitude is a credit to them and to their employer. CONGRATULATIONS ALL, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. I don’t know the names of these amazing bartenders but I hope they understand how highly valued they should be. Thank you. 👍😁👍😁👍😁

Best pub in Liverpool full stop. Great mix of customers 18 to 80, Great staff, and karaoke 7 days a week virtually all day through til closing. Awesome atmosphere

So friendly, great atmosphere cracking little pub

We were a party of about 8 and popped in here after a meal in local Asian restaurant only meaning to stay an hour. We found the place to be very friendly, with reasonable drinks prices, quick service, karaoke locals very good with one or two exceptions. We had a hilarious time, even with some dancing, and ended up staying over 3 hours before having to leave for home! Yet another great Liverpool pub to go on the list for next time!

Someone looked at the space where Coopers is and thought "we'll put a pub there, with a snug and a karaoke". Probably the smallest pub in town but always a good place to come for a sing and reasonably priced drinks. It's where the proper Scousers go and it's brilliant.
