I happened to stumble across this place looking for a D n D place in Somerset that would help brand new newbies learn/play for the first time. So after finding them on Facebook events I booked myself and 3 other newbies in and turned up at 5.30pm. the whole place was relaxed and inviting, staff were lovely and everything was well priced. Not only that but (I'm sorry I forgot your name) our D n D master was AMAZING! They helped up set up our own characters how we wanted if we didn't wanna use the pre set one. We then had a break for food and drinks and then we played a game!! Pretty sure it was a taster session but our DND master was great! He did accents, came up with a really great story plot, worked with us when we tried charming the gremlins and people tried to steal pet rats and it was just brilliant!! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone wanting to give DND a go and anyone who just wants to have a drink with a bunch of chilled nice people around then. Genuinely we all loved our evening and we will be back again 😊

The perfect nerd spot to go and chill, chat, play and have a few drinks. Prices are reasonable and staff are very accommodating and friendly. Bristol needs this place, support it!

I don’t know where to even start on this place… I’ve been three times and it’s already becoming my favourite place in Bristol and I’m hoping it becomes like a second home. The tables are incredibly well priced at £2 per person, per hour for either board games, TTRPGS, or wargaming. And that includes dice, terrain, tape measure, and proper tabletops for the wargaming. And they have a great selection of board games if you go that route including the Darksouls board game (I’m yet to go for the rpg experience). They have an ongoing d&d campaign as well as intro sessions every Sunday if you want to get into it but don’t know where to start or don’t have a group. The staff are absolutely incredible. Rare to find service like it! Always smiling, really knowledgeable, and I spent the best part of half an hour today while it was quiet chatting to the barman and the chef after they let me try their excellently spicy hot sauce. Given that today was my only third time in (and I was only in briefly to pick up some miniature paint) to be treated so warmly really was above and beyond. And speaking of the chef, the food is mouthwatering. Nachos: delicious (and all homemade), burgers: beautiful, and huge! The fries are amazing, the chicken is amazing. Everything I’ve eaten I’ve loved. And almost the entire menu is either gluten free or has a gluten free option (the gf burger buns were delicious as well). It’s a small menu but it pays off because everything is done brilliantly! As I said I’m very much intending to make this a regular part of my life, and with the price of the gaming tables, the taste of the food, and the excellent hospitality I would be stupid not to! 10/10 all round!!! So I ordered a deck of Warhammer collectors edition cards back in October in which straight off the bat I had massive issues from them asking for more money due to stock shortages to lack of communication on what was happening I finally got a hold of Oliver Dent on a roughly biweekly basis for any updates on my order we later concluded that due to the Mail strikes it was lost in storage and a reclaim form by the company was made in which I was assured I would hear from them after the Christmas holiday and some bonus compensation would be received and I can attempt to contact if necessary. Fast forward to today I have not received I single word, not for lack of trying, I have emailed, Instagrammed, Facebook messaged, called ect. My partner managed to get ahold only for them to claim my order was FUFILLED then stopped replying. If zero was an option I would I wanted these cards badly and didn’t want a refund but it looks like they won’t help me so until I can get a number to talk to someone all I can do is warn people against them. I feel scammed and cheated out of my money.

Never buy from this shop they took my money and never sent my order. They will offer you free gifts for the delays to drag out the order so PayPal cannot help you with a refund when Mana house don't.

Used to go here before the pandemic and now it's re-opened with the same sense of community and care for games. Wonderful and personable service by both the bar and the kitchen. Spent an entire afternoon here easily.

For once I can get good draught and unique cocktails at a reasonable price, good selection of games too.

I ordered and paid for an item. They haven't sent it. Have not responded to emails. Contacted multiple times. Basically threw my money down the drain.

Went there on friday with my brother, helpful from the start to the finish, couldn't ask for better staff will definitely be using them again!

Be wary of booking here, me and my friends booked a table for Saturday afternoon and they didn't open! It says open from 3PM, but they remained closed all afternoon. Apparently management forgot we had a booking...

Hesitated to leave a negative review last year, as I wanted to give them some allowances for pandemic-related issues. But after some assurances made at the time, have found Mana House's service to be uncommunicative, expensive, and I suspect deceptive – an order was unfulfilled, and when I was invited to repeat the order, they had pushed the prices of the items up. Don't purchase from them.

Extremely disappointed with the customer service. I paid for an item that showed as in stock on the website. After waiting for some time nothing was delivered. I ring and ring and noone ever seems to pick up the phone. Eventually they called me back and explained they have taken the money for the order but they don't have the stock. I find this practice to be rather scummy but he did offer me a refund or an alternative. I asked for the refund and figured "ok that's that". I waited a week and I noticed the money wasn't in my account so I emailed and called and called again. Eventually they called me back and I asked if my refund was processed or not. The person said "no we can do that now for you". That really irritated me, I asked for it a week ago but I though no I won't rock the boat I'll just let him process it now. It's been a week now and I've still had nothing. No money back or noone picking up the phone. I genuinely think this company has just taken my money and if dodging my calls and I will look to take this further either legally or through my bank. I don't care how busy you are there is no excuse for not replying to customers when they contact you especially when you are in the wrong. It is disgusting.

Currently waiting for a refund from Mana House. Been three weeks now with no contact after emailing several times. Very disappointed and won’t shop with them again. Edit - still no refund after weeks of trying to get my money back. Complete sham of a company.

Incredibly fast and reliable online single CTG service, one of the best experiences I've had and will certainly be using them again. The cars received were all equal or better quality than described and were delivered the day after ordering despite only paying standard delivery. Thanks!

After pre ordering an item to then be phoned and told it would cost £50 extra. Cancelled my order and no refund after 2 weeks. Extremely disappointed

I ordered a warhammer 40 tyranids deck with Manahouse, and they were understocked by by the distributer leading them to not get the correct amount of product. I have been working with them and getting regular updates with my order, and have had a good customer service experience with them in regards with this. Feedback was abit slow through e-mail, but I chalk this up to them having to corrospond with other people in my situation. due to manahouse being under allocated product.

The Mana House has the best customer service I've ever received, despite all the issues met with my order, they were quick to respond and extremely helpful making sure I knew what was going on at all times and doing all they can to get my order with me. 10/10

I purchased an item on the 03/08/22 after seeing it was in stock and at a good price from the website. Delivery was predicted within a few days as normal, however, it never arrived. I tried to speak to them via their chat option - no response. I emailed asking about the order a few days later - no response. I then emailed again after a week to arrange a refund but had no response. UPDATE - I received a call today (23/08/22) explaining that there were problems with the website and was offered some compensation for the poor communication I had dealt with... they seem to have everything in order now.

Ordered Tasha’s and there was a slight delay (only a few days, no big deal) and they threw in a bag of dice, on the (mana) house! Still arrived in time for my next game and now I have some sweet cerulean blue dies to roll too.

Ordered items a month ago, only one of the three orders have come and they haven't responded to the numerous emails I have sent them.

Shop elsewhere for your MTG gear. I ordered some sleeves and a deckbox from then on the 26th May. No word for several weeks and was then told team was out with COVID. Fair I thought, it happens. But then I was told the items I needed were out of stock, should arrive next day, and then not heard a word from them. I have now requested a refund, we will see how that goes.

Purchased various items totalling £20, and upon confirmation was told subsequently that they did not have the items I ordered (which I was only told after messaging them first). Since then, it has been multiple weeks and they are not responding to requests for refunds - DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!

Utterly appealing service. Placed an order for £114 worth of Yu-Gi-Oh for items which were displayed as 'in-stock' on their website. The reason I purchased from Mana House was due to the fact they had stock when no one else did. 2 working days passed and still no update on the order, they then inform me that these items are in-fact out of stock, but there will be a new delivery on Tuesday and they will arrive Wednesday (today). It's now Wednesday, no sign of the items, the store informed me at 3pm DPD had lost the order, and they had a new one due in 45 minutes (3:45). It's now 6pm and still no sign of my order. Lie after lie with this company, and utterly let down I now can't open these Yu-Gi-Oh sets with my friends this coming weekend, after placing an order over 1 week in advance. This is a shambles.

Most unprofessional company I have ever seen, constantly having "stock issues" as well as the large amount legal issues that have emerged around the owner, and his various miss conducts with staff. Such as unpaid staff, abuse of power, not providing p45s to former staff and lying about legal issues. Shop at many of the other local game stores across Bristol and the South West.

Shop literally anywhere else I worked behind the bar from the day it opened, up until the manager had to shut due to monetary issues and simply 'forgot' to tell many of us they'd reopened. Many members of staff were paid late and were told simply 'not to live paycheck to paycheck', and most, if not all, are still owed money now. I wish we'd been less naïve and not trusted this man

The food here is DISGUSTING. My pizza was raw and my seitan wings were burnt to a crisp. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT EAT HERE.

It's a cost place in a popular drinking area. Foods ok - vegan meal a bit bland, people are nice enough though so not a bag place to hang out.

A very friendly, cosy bar where you'll feel quickly very at home! Great for those with an interest in all things geeky and fanatical but equally enjoyed by anyone looking for a welcoming place to hang out.

Went and played DnD about 2 months ago with my friends and the manager dropped my drink all over the sheets. Then sighed and walked off. No apologies or anything. Came back mopped it up and gave me another. Not coming back again. I asked for a 9 up and I got a 7 up instead. Doesn't know his drinks

Service was absolutely shocking! The food took an hour to arrive, was wrong and what did arrive was cold! Asked to speak to the manager who didn't even apologise!!!!! Had to ask for a full refund and despite our complaint, he still made us pay for our drinks! Would not send my worst enemy hear to eat! Aviod at all cost!!!!

Simply fantastic. Staff are friendly, good natured and happy to help. Great venue for D&D, with spare tilesets and minis to spice up your game. The food is excellent and caters well to veggie/vegans. The drinks are inventive, get their potions to supplement your game.

Great idea for a swanky but affordable cards and rpg gaming bar with excellent, super chill staff to boot. Get their Health Potion and any of their burgers. Can't rec enough.

Came on Monday evening for the beginner dnd session and had a great night. The staff and other players are all friendly, the drinks were lovely and the dm was fantastic, really made the night!

Visited in for a late pint and was not disappointed. Food options are great (I've used Too Good To Go to rescue food at the end of the evening) and the atmosphere is welcoming. Lots of games available to play and also tournaments on certain days. A great addition to Bristol!

Great venue for Warhammer. Played a game of Kill Team, they had the equiptment and terrain to use which was awesome. Great service as well, very friendly and the cider was locally sourced and tasted pretty good. By location alone its pretty great. Would definitley recommend!

Have had burgers here twice now and both times was amazed - definitely the best burgers I've had in Bristol! Staff are friendly and service was fast.

Amazing prices for amazing food! Had the onion rings here and they were perfectly cooked (seasoned batter and the onions were cooked just right) for a very reasonable price and with a generous portion. Highly recommended, will be back for the 10 pounds burger and fries meal deal!
