Ordered Jerk pork and chicken.... tiny portion at £16... pork had so much fat and was over cooked literally burnt.. rice and peas was from yesterday soggy and tasted unfresh, texture like baby food.. AVOID much better carribean restaurants.. complained to uber eats and showed them a picture and was refunded within 10m

The food was taste alright, but for £12, the quantity of the food is abysmal I would say, absolutely ridiculous.. certainly not coming back. To be sure to be sure, as Irish man said..

Tupperware container was 4.5cm tall. Not what I expected for a large portion. Container was topped full of gravy and stingy on oxtail. I ordered Oxtail, not 60% gravy. Curry goat full of bones, big, medium and tiny bones everywhere. Poor vfm. Fix up

Popped in to get a takeaway whilst passing through the area. Owner was pleasant and friendly. Service was fairly quick and he had everything we wanted available. Food was tasty.

The jerk chicken is boiled, I almost vomited. Also the worker didn’t even serve me, he served his 2 daughters, one of them called Tyra. The worker also started clapping Tyra’s cheeks, and rubbed her poo on my rice and peas. I recommend to take this restaurant down and bring a better one. This isn’t Eat Rite, this is Eat Wrong. “Me take workah fa eediat!” 🤢

Disgusting quality Good fell out of the container and in the plastic bag, Large is really not a large. Do not order! Called the shop they don’t care.

It's nice! But today the meat doesn't taste rite, and the mac is way over done but it is still nice, nice spice to it... Once you get the meat out, I would order again but another day

The most sorry excuse for Carribean food I have come across, food seems as though it has been cooked from the start of the week and left out to serve. My fish and veg were microwaved and served boiling from the radiational waves. No flavour and chewy. 0/5 if I could.

I happened to have the displeasure of recently eating at this establishment. To begin with I ordered my meal and it arrived cold literally out of the fridge. If that wasn’t enough when it was finally given to me hot it came with a side of sarcasm. To add insult to injury he attempted to over charge me by £25 initially and when I confronted him he just tried to laugh it off! After being a regular customer for the last few years I am disgusted by this barbaric treatment and will certainly never be going back. Mi tek Chef fa EEEEDIATTT

Pretty certain none of this food was cooked today. The meats had been microwaved to death. Food is bland and full of oil. Even the gravy had over a CM of oil in the top. Completely inedible

I’ve recently discovered Eat Rite Caribbean Cuisine. The oxtail and steam Chicken Mix with rice and peas is a definite must try!

I was overcharged by 5£, plus also charged £16 for a fried fish meal which when I look at it, is one small piece of fish with rice n veg. The menu says £8 for fried fish portion so to be charged £8 for white rice and some onion/ pepper is not good value. Ordered a large got home its a medium. When ive tried the food its not fresh and I think chicken was cooked a day or two ago. The mac cheese is more like a ready meal than what I usually associate with caribbean mac n cheese. This place used to be good value when it was the drum in the high street. We Called up to discuss and were left on hold then he hung up. All in all not an enjoyable experience and id advise checking your food and receipt before leaving, as only out of trust as I used to enjoy their food I didnt do this.

Only problem was that I never received my plantain that I ordered it was on the bill. But Other than that it was a pleasure to order from there. Although I don't know how to get my refund of £2 for the plantain?

Mutton curry as with the chicken curry lots of 'splinter bones'. Great flavours but have to eat carefully because of splinter bones in both.

Chicken curry good could do with a bit more sauce, fish nice flavours bit soggy for Escoveitch.

Food was a mess spilled in the bag covered everything. Wrap the burger boxes in cling film... Cleaning before you eat the food is a turn off.

Very authentic taste of Jamaican food, always in point with flavor.

Good wasn't bad, curry goat, oxtail, escov fish. Packaging tho was horrible. All food arrived in styrofoam boxes (not a problem) but not wrapped in cling film. So on opening the bag I found the fish and some rice at the bottom of the plastic bag. Food was alright tho.

Ordered over 20 times from here. Messed up my order and over 2 hours later never redelivered. Diabetic and left without food, filed complaint with justeat. Never ordering again from here, lost a customer. Requested a refund and still awaiting a response, unacceptable

Not the greatest goat curry. Too many little pieces of broken bone which made it difficult to enjoy as I was constantly worried I’d break a tooth. The plantain was a little too greasy in my opinion. For the money I’ve had much better. Will not order again.

The large portion of curry goat we ordered was rather small! The meat didn't appear to be 100% fresh and had more bone than anything else! I won't be ordering again. First time we ordered from this restaurant and was rather disappointed!

I took this pic before I tried it and then……… Tonight I ordered the oxtail and it was delicious, 10/10. Love the fact they put steam veg with it aswell. Really flavoursome. Coleslaw was beauts too.

Flavours are spot on. I had a delicious jerk chicken with rice and pea. Side of plantain. Exceptional and full of flavour authentically made so expect plenty of bone. Will definitely order again, so tasty.

Everything i had got wasn't what i ordered

Worst food I’ve eaten in my entire life. 🤮Extremely soggy, overripe plantains swimming in grease, soggy and oily “escoveitch” fish - it was so greasy that the oil soaked the box. The ackee and saltfish tasted like it was cooked and left out overnight. It’s really shameful how restaurants like these are content to sell appalling food as long as they are getting paid. Disgraceful and a sorry excuse for Jamaican food.

The rice and peas was nice and of a good proton size. The dumplings were fine. The oxtail option portion size was very small for the price. The oxtail was full of small bones and very little meat and no sauce. The plantain was very oily.

Poor service. They deliver you incomplete meals. I specifically called the restaurant prior to making the order to ensure that it is a complete meal with rice. When i ordered the meal was incomplete, no rice. They apologised for the error but said they wouldn’t do anything about it.

Ordered ackee &saltfish an hard food,why the boiled dumplings look dried up like they were forgotten about in the microwave and where’s the rest of the ackee and saltfish,I’m basically eating dried up hard food with tiny bare amount of ackee and saltfish 🙄

The soup was definitely not Caribbean. There was no sweetcorn, no other vegetables, tiny chicken bones, no chicken. No hard food, the dumplings were soggy. The soup was watery, no scotch bonnet or any flavoring apart from salt and pepper. Just finding out how to get my well earned money back. Rip off.

Ordered Friday dinner for the family and the food did not disappoint. Everything was fresh, flavoursome and decent sized portions. Will definitely be back again soon!!

Only been here a few times tried the patties out and they were very good in all honesty would definitely go back again and would definitely reccomend for others to try out.

Been eating from those guys for at least 11 years. Had massive break for few years but I remember when they started with tent and became their best customer. Would visit every Wednesday and Friday and sometimes Saturday to get my fix sorted. Would take me half of my lunch time but was worth it. Recently have changed jobs - and just changed again so I'm not there anymore - and decided to see how are they doing since I was in the area. Turns out they've taken over of local cafe. Food was still good but smaller portions and more expensive -what isn't those days? Chicken is always good, with pork you might get some fat pieces, has happened to me, but that's pork for you. Overall excellent simple tasty food, great service, support them if you can.

Tried the food from the pop-up stall a few months ago and the food was amazing (and a good price too!) and the owner was super nice! Came across this today on Uber Eats so had my first delivery from here. Once again everything was delicious! I am so glad you do delivery now- we will be ordering again soon!! We ordered: Jerk chicken, Curry goat, Peppered Steak, Mac and cheese, beef patty and dumplings. I recommend it all!! Reasonably priced and soooo delicious!

Nice to have a local Jamaican restaurant in Morden with good curry goat and jerk chicken. Tried the tasty beef patty today as well. I've been going to the pop-up stall in the street corner for a few years now and it's always good. Happy to see the owner getting a lease and having a restaurant now.

The saltfish and ache was very nice a part from a few bones in the saltfish the dumpling was very nice thank you
