Happy new year to the guys at Momshad! A massive order placed on New Year’s Eve and was here bang on time and delicious as ever. Even had an unexpected call to apologise for the delay that the driver was only just on his way which was above and beyond and he still turned up before the estimated time! All the food was great, will be ordering from the Momshad lads every time again in 2024!

This place used to be good but delivery times right now are ridiculous. We live 300m away and have to wait around 2 hours. Would use somewhere else

The food was delivered very promptly, and was delicious. The portion size was generous and the chicken biryani was full of flavour, I would order from them again.

Great currys. Spicy without burning heat. Free rice with some. Portion size is good but nan bread bland and undercooked. All in all, well worth a try.

All food arrived very hot. Husband enjoyed his chicken vindaloo. My King prawn biriyani was tasty and had lots of prawns. The onion bhaji and breads were excellent. Highly recommend Momshad Indian Takeaway

I am pleasantly surprised! First try on this restaurant and it was really good. Great quality meat. I would just say perhaps more poppadoms when they are ordered as an extra.

Arrived before estimated delivery time but the sauce in korma was very runny & only 5 pieces of chicken. Wasn’t particularly hot either , infact just about warm . Haven’t ordered from here in years (10+) and probably wouldn’t order from them again

Small mix up at both ends. Phoned the lads. 15 mins later they sorted for me. Delicious. My go to guys.

Although it arrived late the restaurant was extremely helpful. The food, as usual, was excellent although I did miss the usual free popadom, salad and raita.

The chicken biryani was delicious and the main dish and the vegetable side dishes were still hot when delivered. The restaurant was generous with the pappadums, and often add an extra one free. I would order from them again, the delivery was on time.

Restaurant forgot rice and they called us with an apology to be fair they are always busy but we have never had a problem in the past. They went the extra mile and sent out another driver we only had to wait five mins for the rice to be delivered top service and fantastic food as always thank you

An hour late, food was cold, portion of chicken in the curry was small. I don’t know if this place is under new management, but this was utter rubbish. I’ve been ordering here for years, but this was my last order. Prices up, portions and quality down! A real shame!

I have used this restaurant before, and come back to reorder when hungry, and in need of a reliable chicken biryani . The food is generous in portion size, has great flavours and is pleasantly hot when delivered

Ordered at 19.05. Delivery time put at 20.05-20.25. So quite a delay already since order. Didn’t arrive until 20.45.

The chicken tandoori was very salty, but the rest of the food was good

I’m a Momshad fan, but I think my Chana masala tonight was a tin of chick peas, a squirt of tomato ketchup and a spoon of masala powder. Shame. In fairness , this would be my first complaint in 6 years of custom!

Tried the chefs special Tikka Masala Cocktail - probably the best Tikka Masala sauce I have ever had. And it was a huge portion. Highly recommended

This is not the first time we have ordered from Momshad and it has been very late. Our food was due to be here at 5:45, I received a message from Just Eat at 6:07 to say that the food was on its way. At 6:40 I am still waiting. When I called Momshad they didn’t seem interested. I think that this should be refundable due to bad service. It is a shame, because the food is good

karai chicken sauce was a bit tasteless but they are forgiven - it's been so good for so many years!

I asked for the food to be delivered at 19:50 and it came at 20:11 after I called the restaurant at 19:56 they said it was on the way. I wasn’t happy with how the guy spoke to me when I called back at 20:01. I can’t say I won’t order again as my kids do like the butter chicken but if I’m in a rush or need the food to be delivered on time I won’t be ordering here as delivery is not guaranteed to be on time. It’s not the first time hence why this time I’m leaving a review.

The chicken biryani arrived within 40 mins of ordering, and was still hot, and tasted delicious. The portion sizes were generous and the poppadoms were freshly cooked and crispy. well done!

Did not get what i ordered. I had ordered extra patoto *2 and was charged for this. They did not add this. The Food was off . You could smell there was something not right. After a few bites though it away. Why did i not complain. i have lent that all the restraints do is say contact jus eat and all Just eat says take Photo and contact them in morning with photo. Do they really think i have time for this. Don't order from them.

Sent wrong naan breads, should have been garlic. Vindaloo portion was smaller than normal. Onion bhaji’s weren’t crispy. Not great overall. Unusual for Momshad. Disappointed.

Can you imagine being pregnant and having to wait almost 2 hours for a delivery? I have had restaurants located further away who have delivered way before time. Yet, a restaurant so nearby has taken almost two hours to bring me samosas and lamb chops when I’ve ordered way more food elsewhere and gotten it way before delivery time. I am utterly disgusted with the service. The person who I spoke to didn’t even seem to care either. I called at 9:05pm and they told me to wait 10-15 mins. It is almost 10pm and I still haven’t gotten my food. I have never been so upset about a delivery in my life. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Called for the second time and it’s 9:52pm and they are telling me 5-6 minutes to get there. This place is literally a 10 minute drive from my house. Just ridiculous! If you are dying of hunger, don’t bother order from there. I have bought there many times and on a few occasions they have been late but not this late. I won’t be ordering in a hurry.

The original wait time was already long and the food still arrived 22 minutes later than the estimated longest wait. A total of 1hr 30 mins after ordering! The food was underwhelming especially the tandoori chicken which is typically a dry dish and baked in a tandoori oven which it clearly had not seen.

Never a problem, great food and service

First time ordering from here, the chicken was tender and cooked perfectly, rice and chapattis were very good too, no complaints and I will be ordering again.

Very tasty curries - chicken madras for hubby, prawn madras for me and a vegetable side dish. Lots of chicken, prawns and vegetables. Onion bhaji and paratha completed the meal. All arrived hot. Highly recommend Momshad for your Indian takeaways

Food here is great. Tried others in the area, nothing beats it.

The vindaloo appeared very red and had really strong taste of powdered cayenne which was a bit over powering. Totally different to how it used to be.

I am sorry to say after reading so many good reviews I decided to order but was extremely disappointed with the food, it was tasteless, under cooked and very rude staff… not ready to take any criticism although it was hot when delivered. I guess when people don’t know the real taste of good Indian food, can be easily fooled, coming from the same industry with 40 years experience in cooking. I can easily vouch this is the worst Indian food I’ve ever had in my life..

This restaurant seems absolutely fine. I ordered yesterday via Uber eats, the driver had problems finding my house but at the end we found each other. The food was still hot , good sized portions and tasted delicious. Reasonably priced and overall I really enjoyed it! Yes I do recommend this place, Thank you 😊

Super tasty food. I always use Momshad and have never had a bad experience. Freshly cooked, arrives hot and always really great. I like that there food does have a kick but also very rich in flavour.

Worst customer service ever, they do not understand what you say when order so inevitably the food is not what you ordered and it seems like they ain't got 2 brain-cells between them all!! It's a shame because there food years ago was so much better and even the service!!

You get a good amount for your money, not amazing but decent

The customer service is poor asked for no onion’s as allergic but they put in every dish. and when I called to say the guy was shouting down the phone.

Food was nice as usual but the rice had a strange taste to it and the chicken in the dansak was hard and old tasting which is a shame as I really love this place.

Not only did the food arrive considerably later than expected, the restaurant had forgotten to include the pilau rice that was supposed to accompany my Chicken Tikka Dansak, leaving us without any rice which was very disappointing. It's a shame because I've ordered from Momshad a few times and the food quality is always very good, but the last couple of times they've been late to deliver and are now forgetting items from my order.

Food preordered at 7pm for delivery at 8pm. Arrived 8pm. Ordered samosa but didn't expect 2 tiny ones. Prawn curry was mediocre 😕 shan't use again.

Not very good Indian nor ingredients . Samosa awful Mango Chutney weak watered . Curry was very poor not worth the money . Avoid .
