Quite simply THE BEST plant-based and love-filled food and service I have had the pleasure of eating and receiving This has become my regular treat place and when I move further afield I will most definitely be making regular trips back for their nourishing and vibrant offerings 💛🌻💛🌻💛🌻💛

You can't help but smile around the lovely waiter, the food is excellent and it's such a friendly welcoming place you will definitely be back once you try it.

Yet again, another visit where everyone left more than happy. I cannot say one bad thing about any of our experiences. I am the only vegan out of our friendship group, and even the meat eaters love it. The food is always so fresh, well presented and the server is always so polite and friendly . My only disappointment, no cheesecake again. That's my favourite, though all the cakes are good too.

This is a very pleasant vegan cafe. I enjoyed my visit and I will certainly return. Just make sure you check the opening times because it is closed a couple of days in the week.

Lovely place went with my friend didn't realise it was vegan/vegetarian till we looked at the menu wasn't a problem for me as I am veggie anyway but my friend isn't we both had the flatbread with roasted pepper hummous aubergine and salad which was soooo good didn't think it could get any better then we saw the specials board with the lemon curd crumble baked cheesecake Omg!!!!!!!!!!! That took it to another level amazing 👏🏼 the staff and service was excellent too and we were asked before we ordered if we had any allergies which was good will definitely be back again and highly recommend to everyone you won't be disappointed with it well worth a visit

First time visiting here and my only regret is not coming here sooner! The flavours were unbelievable for such a simple lunch dish. Will definitely be coming back again.

Wow wow wow. First visit to the cafe today and it was lovely. We aren't vegan and my husband can be a bit sceptical about vegan food but he was blown away with the coffee and banana biscoff french toast. We visited with our young children and they adapted the menu for the children. We felt so welcome by the host and the whole place just felt lovely. We will be returning!

We love popping into the magic sunflower, so when planning our wedding we knew we would love them to make our cake. The did a wonderful job, it was beautiful and very yummy. Both flavours (chocolate fudge and biscoff) were a big hit with the guests. They were really helpful adjusting the delivery time in line with our venue. Thank you for being a part of a magical day.

It was hearty and satisfying, with tender mock meat that closely resembled the real thing, but without any animal products. Absolutely brilliant food, really reasonably priced and a good sized menu for a relatively small cafe. Food so fresh and delicious, a very pleasant ambience and friendly staff. Truly excellent.

Small cozy place. Lovely food for vegan/vegetarian lovers. We had to drive so much to eat vegan food and then found this place based on reviews and recommendations. Totally worth it. Vegan desserts were delicious as well.

Excellent little cafe, very popular,so I would advise you to book. However,we did manage to get a table early on Saturday morning. The food was delicious,very tasty,and seasoned to perfection. A great place for vegans to eat. The service was great ,and we were greeted by a really lovely chap,who made us feel very welcome. Well worth a visit,we will definitely be returning,now that we've found this little gem.

Lovely little cafe. We had the salads which were fantastic, healthy and filling at very reasonable prices. They also offer an excellent range of gluten free options. Lovely smiley helpful staff too.

Love this place, always worth the drive from Derby to visit 😊 The fact everything is vegan AND gluten free if you need it is HUGE brownie points from us. Had fab scrambled tofu and avocado toast nom nom 😋. My only complaint is too much cake choice as they were all vegan and gf!! 😍 We took the cakes home for lunch...delish!!! Love it!!! We pre-booked for our first visit today - our server was so polite, happy and friendly. The food was out of this world incredible! Neither of us eat vegan normally but it was some of then best food I’ve ever had - The beetroot hummus on toast was incredible. We’ll be back!

Our new favourite local cafe. Called in today for lunch and enjoyed this so much. Although we're not vegan, we have enjoyed the cakes from magic sunflower at local markets before and have been meaning to call in for lunch for ages. We won't be leaving it so long before we return again. Excellent value, great food, the friendliest of people, cakes 'to die for' and defo recommended.

This is a lovely cafe. I love the way it's decorated. The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. The food is a very reasonable price too. Best brownies I've ever had. There is also a toilet at the back just incase anyone didn't know.

My daughter and I enjoyed one of the nicest lunches in a long time at The Magic Sunflower today. We had a Mediterranean salad bowl and a spicy chickpea salad bowl. Neither of us are vegan but the food was a taste sensation! The cakes and coffee were also top notch. The decor and ambience are also lovely. We will definitely be returning customers. Thank you.

A beautiful little coffee shop with great character and style. Friendly and welcoming with wonderful owners. Great coffee, will definitely go again and try the food next time.

Really relaxed atmosphere. Friendly hosts with a great choice of teas, coffees and fabulous cakes (can highly recommend the black forest baked chocolate cheesecake) Much better use of space than previous cafe and great decor. Music choice was also spot on. We're not vegan but the Sunday lunch is very tempting. Highly recommended 👍

The most amazing food I've ever eaten. Simple but beautiful. A lovely place, lovely staff, phenomenal vegan food. Would recommend to anybody visiting Sheffield to make the effort to travel a bit out of the centre for this!!

What a delightful little place to visit! 😬👍 Lovely food - I had the TLT and my wife had the Mediterranean Salad. We followed with a triple chocolate brownie which, as a self proclaimed world leader in brownie expertise, I can confirm these are more than satisfactory in taste and texture 😋 Drinks were enjoyable too - the Americano with oat milk was good, though the "soup bowl" style cup with a handle small enough for just one finger was a little awkward. The OJ came with ice, not a personal preference but the juice itself tasted cheerful, but far from cheap 🥤 Highly recommend a visit, only downside is the small place doesn't seem to have a loo 😬 *Edit, I've learned they do have a loo, but it is around the back of the building 😁🚻

Popped in here to get some lunch today, very nice atmosphere and very good food. We were a bit gutted we were too early for Sunday lunch but the alternatives all sounded fantastic! We had a bit of a wait for our food but it was worth it (and the server offered us a complimentary drink) would recommend even for none vegans!

I collected a Totally Baked Vegan's treat box from here. It's a cute and cosy cafe and the service from the staff was lovely. Special mention goes to the gent (with the 'tache) who served us; he was just a really pleasant fella! The coffee from here was also very nice.

Lovely little restaurant that we found out about while we were visiting family in the area. Highly recommended.

Brilliant little vegan cafe with lovely service. One of the best meals out I've had in my 11 years of being vegan, and definitely some of the best Biscoff, Oreo and peanut brownies ever! We were there to break up a long car journey - even on a random Monday lunchtime, it was busy - clearly very popular

Hidden little gem! The service was brilliant, super friendly and welcoming! The food was amazing! My partner is a meat eater and he had the TLT sandwich, he said it was the best he'd had. I tried it and couldn't agree more. I had the banana biscoff French toast and it was so nice! Small place, we timed it perfectly right before it got full on a Saturday (just after 2pm). Definitely going back for more!

I can't say enough good things about The Magic Sunflower. I rarely used to visit cafes, but now I go here regularly because their dishes are simply superb - full of flavour from natural herbs and spices, freshly prepared, generous portions, and beyond delicious. And the owners, Marc and Jess, are just lovely and so friendly. Without a doubt the best cafe in Dronfield... nope, the whole of Derbyshire.

Stopped here for lunch. Great service, and food was awesome. We had the chipotle lime banana blossom taco's and Mediterranean vegetable salad bowl and a side of salt and pepper potatoes. Definitely come here again.

We ordered a Vegan Chocolate and Raspberry cake from the Magic Sunflower for my 21st birthday and it was absolutely stunning and delicious. The staff were so lovely and there was no doubt that it was the best vegan cake I and my non-vegan family had eaten!

It's a really nice, small, cafe, the food is really nice and is worth the money. Tofu is flavoured in an excellent way. Really tasty and delicious. Cheesecake is absolutely amazing and so tasty in four vegan varieties. Only downside, the cup of tea you buy at 1. 80,why not give a person a pot? Very small cup of tea, come on, improve this. Will be back for abother meal soon.

A quiet Sunday lunch at The Magic Sunflower was probably the best meal we’ve had since start of the pandemic. Amazing flavours and staff who were super considerate to our allergies and preferences.

Four of us spent a great couple of hours here, enjoying the food, drinks, music and relaxed atmosphere. We all had something different from the menu and all agreed that the food was fresh, tasty and filling. Between us we also sampled a variety of hot and cold drinks, some with CBD, some without. Loved them all. Compliments to all the Magic Sunflower crew - it was great to see the cafe so busy whilst still managing to create a laid-back vibe. Two of us walked in with a hangover but left without one so cheers for that as well 😄😘

Such a lovely little vegan restaurant. Before I was struggling for a while with being dairy free gluten free but it’s nice to have a place local that can cater for both. Delicious food, lovely staff couldn’t ask for anything more!!

I went on Saturday, their first day open as a new cafe! The staff were very friendly, helpful and the place had a lovely vibe. I asked for decaf tea and when they didn't have any said straight away that would go on the shopping list. My son had the leek and potato soup. I had French toast with berries and both were beautiful. We had the lemon cheesecake to finish, which I have to say is the best I have ever tasted, even prior to my vegan days! I will definately be returning within the week!
