I haven't eaten here yet, but I come here and enjoy my coffee just for the atmosphere alone. The staff are welcoming, it is a great place to unwind mentally in the pretty surroundings - both inside and to sit out and watch the world go by, such a change from the chaotic shopping areas of London, so this cafe offers an oasis of calm.

I am somewhat surprised at the number of positive reviews here for the cafe. Maybe we were just unlucky but visiting about 1.30 on a Saturday lunchtime, the cafe had no jacket potatoes and no baguettes. The three of us then opted for sandwiches instead. No option of white/brown/granary: it was white or nothing. These should not have been difficult to prepare, but each of us was served individually with about a ten minute gap between the arrival of each plated sandwich. The bread was just cheap sliced, not what I would expect from an independent cafe. The tea was lukewarm rather than hot. Even worse, the lady serving tried to charge us double the actual bill value. I would usually complain at the time but unfortunately the two ladies serving did seem to be clueless as to what they should be doing. Maybe just a case of more training required. I will be visiting the area regularly in the future but unfortunately will not be returning to the (lack of) Magic Cafe

Every now and then you find yourself off the beaten path. This community is outside London proper but worth the trip. The food here is yum. The Bishop palace park is awesome with children. Just go! Explore! Between Hammersmith and Putttney stop. Use either...

It should be renamed the the "Not so magic cafe" Awful service, cold toasties and long delays and no apology whatsoever. This cafe is the reason why Starbucks, Costa etc are popular and busy.

Pretty little cafe on Fulham Road-I haven't eaten here but enjoyed a really good latte-and have returned for another! Staff are friendly and there is a very relaxed feel inside, you can also sit outside!

Finally the smaller independent coffee houses are getting that we want almond milk as well as a soya alternative! Musetti coffee is always good and this place did not fail to impress me

I popped in to the Magic Cafe a few months ago and was really impressed with the friendly and quick service. My waitress Gabrielle was charming and helped me order snacks despite my food intolerance's. A lovely little cafe to watch the world go by with a nice latte. :)

A nice change from the typical fulham brunch culture. This independent cafe is decorated in a rustic french style and serves homemade cakes, coffees and nibbles. It has no pretences and the red velvet cake is particularly good! Great value for money too.

The food was amazing. The service a wide menu: ranging from croissants, cakes and scones to cooked food eg full English breakfast, scrambled egg on toast etc. Great value for money. Awesome coffee, too. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient when I visited, and made everyone feel welcome, especially the children. The atmosphere was warm and inclusive, and it felt like a second home. Highly recommended.

Grei kafé for en kopp te og et lite kakestykke. Hyggelig betjening og god beliggenhet i Fullham. Et sted å anbefale for å sitte ned litt.

I live 100m from the Magic Cafe but this was only my second visit in all the time it's been open, and I'm not sure I'll be rushing back. Staff pleasant but no real engagement and my 'drink in' macchiato was served in a cold cup so no time to slowly enjoy the coffee before it too was cold. Also the front door wasnt closing properly - a simple thing they need to be on top of. I glanced at pastries but wasn't inspired. So overall a handy local cafe but didn't seem to making the sort of effort that would secure my loyal custom. I'll give them one more go in case I've misjudged.

This is only the second time I've been here for lunch with my dad who is not terribly mobile. We were greeted by 'lovely to see you again' - how nice is that? The food was really fresh, my baguette was freshly made and delicious and my dad's omelette was fluffy and straight out of,the pan. There is such a nice calm feel about the place and I'm glad we have this cafe in our neighbourhood. Prices are incredibly reasonable and I salute them for not jumping on the 'oh it's Fulham so we will charge them crazy prices' bandwagon.

Today I visited Cafe Nero, when it came to my attention that it was extremely busy. However, a wonderful lady named Yam politely served me, despite the fact that it was clearly stressful. I ordered a honey oat latte, but there was no more honey syrup left. While I was thinking of something else as an alternative, she quickly had a solution that no other baristas would have done in my opinion, at least; she offered to add actual honey instead, and it worked so well. The littlest of things always matters, and that did in fact make my day. If she serves you, she's honestly amazing, and you will see for yourselves.
