Brilliant pub - great on a Fulham matchday. Got a calamari starter, massive burger and fries, a pint of lemonade and a chocolate brownie, all for under £30! Unbelievably good in 2025 in SW6. Excellent value - one thing I would say is you NEED Fulham FC memorabilia up - can I donate a flag for the pub to put up on matchdays? It'll probably attract more customers

I've been using The Golden Lion pub for as many years as I can remember. It's considered a Fulham supporters pub, so I visit it before most home games. The pub does get very busy, there are usually lots of staff on to keep waiting times down. There is a big garden with booths and seating as well covered sitting. On warm days, there is an outdoor bat and food outlet. There are tvs showing sport everywhere . The only thing that lets the place down are the toilets, which are small and often smelly. The food is excellent

No customer service whatsoever my friend order and paid for a drink for myself when I arrive back at the bar the drink was not even poured and I realised my friend have order a drink I do not like I asked the bar man to please change the drink to which he point blanked refused.. the toilets are the worst pub toilets I have ever used stank like they hadn’t been cleaned in a month… will not be returning. NOT HARD TO DELETE OF THE TILL AND ENTER ANOTHER DRINK AT ALL.

As my partner is a fulham fan from Plymouth, we went here knowing this is the home fan pub highly recommended,excellent sevice great atmosphere decent beer garden and reasonably priced drinks. We Will be back.

I really am surprised that I've never been here before! Will be back for sure with great screens available for sports and a great set of beers.

The vibe here is awesome; they’ve got all kinds of beers. One weird thing, though, was that we tried to catch a football game, but it was just a quick recap, which was a strange.

Big fan of this place. Very good to go pre Fulham games if youre a home team ticket holder. Lots of TVs to watch games too. Service can not always be the quickest on match days, but you get there eventually.

Came in with my partner and ordered the sausage and mash, cheeseburger spring rolls and scampi and chips. The sausages had clearly been reheated in a microwave, they were rock hard and stale. I ate half a sausage and couldn’t eat the rest. The cheeseburger spring rolls were nice at first but once again clearly reheated. I asked for a refund for the sausage and mash which didn’t go through. Half hour later I threw my guts up in their toilet and left. AVOID EATING FOOD HERE. Other than that staff were very pleasant and nice interior.

Found this little gem after a lovely walk down the river from Hammersmith bridge. It has a beautiful beer garden out the back. Had a mixed grill which was great, and a fantastic pint of Guinness. The staff were polite and helpful especially Katherine and Denise.

Went for a meal on Saturday with a big group. Food was lovely and the service was so quick. Special shoutout to Denise for being such a superstar.

Denise was absolutely amazing and extremely accommodating & helpful whilst organising the afters for my dad’s funeral, no task was too big and she went out of her way to make it a special day. The food was exceptional and very good value for money. All the bar staff were very friendly and lovely. I’d definitely recommend this pub for an event!! The beer garden is done up lovely.

Oh dear. Ordered bangers and mash and if I wasn't eating heated up left over sausages, mash AND peas I'd be so shocked I'd eat my shoes. I left food on my plate despite being very hungry. (Edit: I brought up my dinner after getting back to the hotel) My partner had a burger and chips. Chips were freshly made and burger was tasty. Nice staff but left hungry.

I didn't eat here and didn't see much coming out, hence no rating. The staff were very efficient and friendly. Drinks are reasonably priced for this area and there's a nice garden area. Well worth visiting.

Terrible service ordered a chicken burger waited 4 hours, to be told it would come in 5 minutes 3 times. Honestly don’t bother coming here the staff need to up there game big time.

It's a lot bigger than it looks from the outside, there's a big garden out the back with screens everywhere for sporting events.

Excellent food and drinks at a good price. Would highly recommend!

Went here for dinner tonight. Starters were overcooked and hard near on burnt. Burgers were cold and soggy. Food was just chucked on the plate, no presetation at all. We were given no cutlery or napkins with our food Staff behind the bar did not know what they were doing! It seemed like i was in a youth centre! I ordered a side dish with my meal that did not turn up. Glasses were dirty. Plus, the whole pub stunk of skunk/weed, whatever you want to call it, which made me feel very sick! The staff need to go on a customer service course as they really did not have a clue . Pub looks dirty and grubby . All in all, it was a terrible evening/experience. I remember the old owners it used to be a good pub back in the day, so sad! I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE THE PUB IS NOT LIKE IT USED TO BE !!!!! GONE DOWN HILL BIG-TIME !!!!!!

I went to the golden lion on Christmas Eve it was very quiet I ordered at the bar and was told I couldn’t run a tab with no explanation, he was very rude , we had another drink and then at ten o’clock was told they were closing and did we want plastic glasses for our drinks again no explanation and no drinking up time , not a good experience I felt the staff just wanted to finish as soon as possible, very disappointed

Had a lovely time at the golden lion tonight. The staff and food is amazing, great drinks, especially Denise, she has a very welcoming vibe, a very friendly & kind person, been coming here for almost 2 years now, always a great experience!

Great - happy hour 5-8pm £4 selected drinks. Good quality and great value. Food was okay. Wouldn't expect much more for the value apart from we got 3 miniature lamb koftas which cost nearly £6! All other tapas were of a good quantity. Improvements - the lady who seated us said she had booked us a table outside for our booking. 2 people for dinner on a December evening 0'c outside! We sat inside obviously. Staff seemed new and were often on their phones when I was waiting to be served. Menu online was much more extensive to what we got offered. Few less tapas, no steaks / mixed grills, no pizzas, few less burger options. Best thing was £4 drinks

The most horrible place I’ve ever been in my entire life! Bad drinks, bad service. Please if you are close by this place go way as faster go can.!

I am a new season ticket holder at Fulham & decided to go for a few drinks after the match. Everything was great early in the evening, but someone got sick in the toilet, such a small toilet to cater for quite a big venue & nothing seemed to be done about it for ages. Trying out a new wallet where I do not have to take card out posed a problem when I was buying my round & there was an issue with me tapping the card but the transaction not going through. However this was resolved quickly & amicably by the bar person Anna from Brazil who like all the bar staff were excellent at dealing with a large crowd. Decided to stay to watch the rugby & having spent almost £100 between us £60 personally & been in there for hours what appeared to be a manager seemed to come on shift. The issue with the card happened again & has I was just holding the pints taking them to our table when this man who seemed to have authority of some sort & was much older than the other staff boomed "You are not having those"! I was angry that he spoke so loudly in front of everyone like this, he was very agitated & I re tapped my card & the transaction went through without any problems. I don't expect to be spoken to like that in in a public forum where I am paying my hard earned money to be disrespected like this for an honest mistake. Being 59 I have forgotten how it is to be treated in this way. For the remainder of our time here I felt this man had slightly ruined the evening, he seemed very intent on tidying up clattering around...........sure wish he had been around & that vigilant earlier in the evening when the toilet was full of vomit. I get that there was initially a large football crowd & it can be stressful but the young bar staff handled everything with politeness & efficiency. Above all they made me feel like my custom was appreciated & had people skills that sadly the manager? seemed to lack. Next home match I shall be going elsewhere & spending my money where my custom is valued & not disrespected Post Script Just seen the response from the owner.....his response beggars belief & is quite apparent that he seems quite arrogant. He says he would right things but then offers no way to do so & then questions his rudeness towards me as if it was all a figment of my imagination! The best satisfaction for me will be having a few pints after games in a pub with adequate toilet facilities, developing a residency with my match going pals for 20 + games or so. If we spend up to £100 a match, maybe even getting food......the bumptious owner will have lost a whole lot of custom, he seems entirely reliant on the football for his trade anyway. In 2023 people always have a choice & ability to voice if they are not satisfied. I am pretty sure my review of the new football pub we go to will appreciate our custom, not shout at me & be more interested in tidying than seeing that the customer is satisfied. The response of the owner of this pub shows that the assumptions I made about him on the day were 100% spot on.

Popped into this pub for a drink. Luckily the footfall fans were leaving when we arrived so we were served quickly and easily found a seat in the lovely beer garden. Pimms were great!

A fine, traditional pub used by Fulham supporters on match-days. Beer is good. One star off for slowness of service. Pub was absolutely rammed and bar in the garden was cash only.

We had a great experience here once we were finally served, but the initial bartender we approached ignored us altogether despite the patron next to us saying "he was here first" and choosing to serve others. We were completely sober and patiently waited for her to serve another group next to us. I am not sure why she chose to ignore my friend.

Great place for a pre match beer. Peroni on tap and they always seem to have enough bar staff that you don’t have to queue very long. Nice little garden area with sport showing as well.
