It’s a Wetherspoons that is attached to the Holiday Inn Express. It opens early in the morning and offers cheap honest food. The bacon roll and pint I had in the morning was very welcome after arriving to early for check in next door. It’s bright and roomy, attracts an eclectic range of Londoners who come for the cheap pints and honest food. No tvs or music….but you know what you’re getting

Absolutely wonderful spoons! Staff are extremely friendly and the food and portion sizes are absolutely great! Toilets are also very well maintained! Will definitely be coming back!

Visited here every morning for breakfast and it never disappointed. Great food at a reasonable price and nice staff.

Quite ok. not the most charming pub but the price is really acceptable! If you're staying nearby and want a nightcap, this is just the thing! The service is friendly and the place is clean! What more could you want!

Went in for a meal before watching at show at the Apollo excellent service and the food was very good highly recommend👍

Updated review (1st and 15th Dec) for a Wetherspoons I've been to many times over the years. Hammersmith's second, and cheaper Wetherspoons pub, located a little bit further down King St. Although worth the short walk from the tube station. Prices are somewhat lower (in the region of 25-50p+, depending on the item) than the William Morris on a number of food and drink items. For Example, A Traditional Breakfast here is still under a fiver. Now over a fiver (£5.45?) at William Morris. A Wetherspoons pub that is currently up for sale (yet again!), despite the pub being quite busy when I visited (Evening of Sunday 1st Dec). It was in this situation a few years ago, only for Wetherspoons to change their mind. Quite frankly, yet another barmy decision by Wetherspoons to even consider closing this. Especially when there is a Holiday Inn Express directly above it. Noticed they had on three guest ales on my visit. Unlike the William Morris, it is nearly always possible to get a table, inside or out. ---- (Edit 15th Dec 2024) Pub was not too busy on this occasion, however trade did pick up during my visit. Food and drink arrived in good time. On this visit had Sticky Korean Fried Chicken Bowl and a pint of Leffe Blonde for £10.02. As you can see from enclosed image, food was well prepared and presented, with a good portion given. ---- If you wish to see this Wetherspoons saved from the chop, then frequent it whenever possible. To highlight to the powers that be, it is needed in the area!

Seemed a good atmosphere and while the service was quick and reasonable the food was not what I expect even for a wetherspoons

Usual good wetherspoons value in Hammersmith London. No need to pay sky high beer prices in London with places like this.

Staff was friendly, but tables were not cleaned, food was lukewarm and onion rings cold. After confronting personnel they apologized and would make sure new ones to arrive. They never came. When wanting to order a new drink it took ages and personnel found having a chat with someone else more important than serving. Generally, low prices, but shitty quality and service. Go for a beer, but don't order any food. Substandard.

We are already quite far from the center of London, towards Hammersmith, King street. I like this atmosphere of regulars and locals. The prices are finally correct 💪

I wanted to stop while on a business trip for an English Pub experience. The sat down and was waiting for someone to come take my order. I was wondering why the servers were standing not 3 meters from me but were not coming by. Finally, I got up and went to the bar and asked if I ordered there. I was told yes. I was not aware that you need to tell them your table number and then go to the bar to order. I order the Hamburger meal for £5.44. It was just ok. There were a couple really small pieces of lettuce and a couple of slivers of onion and a tomato slice. I was sure there was supposed to be cheese but there was none. The burger was very dry and seemed to be overcooked. It tasted ok. If you wanted mustard or ketchup, you had to go to another area to get them yourself. Most people were just having a pint so I am not sure if most people come here for something to eat. It was ok but I would not go back.

Quite a typical modern spoons. Good prices, variable cask ales. Service is pleasant but staffing levels sometimes questionable. Atmosphere a bit chaotic and toilets worse for wear later in the evening.

I used to come here 2 times a week and so after a few months I haven t visited the pub I was back. The food was rubbish, not well prepared and cooker did not follow the order properly and the staff was quite unpleasant at the moment. I am not coming back anymore…and also, CLEAN THE TABLES!!!!!

Have liked and enjoyed this pub for many years. It's a bit worn and now dated, but makes up for it in earthy atmosphere. Touches of real Hammersmith! Food was good, and the service is okay. Much better Wetherspoons than the other one at the end of the same street. Now, amazingly... Even lower prices on both the food and drinks. You really won't find cheaper. Go... Enjoy!

Awful service and food very disappointed. Ordered 3x fish and chips and it was more like a fish finger and couple of chips. We then paid extra to get the large and the size of the fish had increased slightly but the peas/ mushy peas and chips remained the same size but cold. I raised this with manager at the time and asked what could be done to rectify the situation but all she done was bring some mushy peas. I would not recommend and will not be coming back for the food here. No hospitality from both of the managers (male annd female) and staff member.

Just popped in for a quick drink 11.30 Saturday. Reasonable price, busy wait for order. Some outside space not good cover.

I sat out in the front here enjoying the sun, although there was an upset customer being attended to by the police. Very nicely kept Dissolution IPA. for less than £3. Would definitely return.

One of the nicer wetherspoons! Much better than the one at the other end of King St by the station, which is dark and dingy. This one usually has the doors open and airflow coming through, the drinks are always cold & fresh and the food is what you expect at a wetherspoons :)

Ordered sausage, peas,mash and gravy this meal was rubbish the amount of gravy was a joke when I asked for more gravy the server disappeared into the kitchen and kept bringing other meals out and left me sitting there for at least 10 minutes so I called him over and asked where the gravy was he said that the chef was doing a new batch. Another 5 minutes went by and still no gravy. The next thing the manager said if i want more gravy i would have to pay extra for this I was offered my money back so I took it.i am not paying extra for something that should be with the meal at the start. So i will not be doing into a witherspoons ever again.

A local favourite with a friendly staff and interesting food. We are here monthly and often enjoy the sausages and mash and always pistachio soufflé. This time we had the seafood bouillabaisse and burger - both well made and presented. The menu changes seasonally and you get some nice options which makes it a lovely place to dine often. The drinks are generous and wines are very reasonable. The set up of the pub is nice with a dining area for guests with dogs as well as a separate tv lounge and bar area and outside garden area - all of which are cosy and inviting. Service is very friendly and efficient which keeps us coming back. Parking in the area is easy (few spaces out front and street parking) too.

A stone's throw from the Ibis hotel where we are staying overnight. Having just arrived in London at 10pm, after a long drive from Paris, an obligatory stop to eat something before going to sleep. Very pleasant surprise, typical English pub with a wide choice. We had some fried chicken bites with fries, some beef curry and a wrap with chicken and salad, beer and water, all very good, for less than 22 pounds. Very friendly staff and service just as fast. If you are in the area, it's a must try.

I am staying at Holiday Inn Express next door. My family and I couldn’t wait to try this place out. I was born in London now live in the states. I am visiting and brought along my American family. We walked in and the waitress never once acknowledged us. I said hello she gave us one look mumbled something and continued doing things with menus. She never came back…ever. Another man that worked there maybe a manager or bartender looked at us with a frown no one said hello and he walked in the back. We couldn’t believe it. We stood there waiting forever no acknowledgement and it wasn’t busy. The little boy with us asked why they were ignoring. So sad and such obvious disrespect. I hate to call it racist but when you see like 5 white people seated eating and happy and 5 black people with a child waiting by the door and no one acknowledging them what else could it be? I’m honestly still in disbelief. This is our first time experiencing this to this degree at an establishment. Horrible

Il pub si trova ad Hammersmith in una zona di ampio passaggio ed é piuttosto grande. Abbiamo mangiato alcune sere lí in quattro. Per ogni pasto ordinato c'è una bevanda inclusa. Prezzi davvero modici. Qualità più che accettabile. Personale disponibile e piuttosto efficiente. Molto consigliato

The price and atmosphere were good, but the food was so so.

The food variety here is more than InterContinental buffet. Any west or eastern food. But quality...well for this price you can't expect too much, right?

A decent pub ,but the air conditioning was on and at that time it was cold .

Warning to all who attend the plough and harrow Hammersmith king street I was a victim of theft My mobile phone was stolen by a man who came in stole it off the table. Then I was informed he comes in regularly went back the following week he came in a gain was about to steal another phone but my partner stopped him. When all this happened the manager of the plough and harrow did nothing no support showed no duty of care. Me and my partner did complain and have since been refused entry to the pub became of the complaint. However they did nothing hence I informed them the guy was back in the pub maybe there’s more to that . I’m the victim but been barred. So your allowed to commit theft but not complain The guy still attends the pub

Um lugar onde é possível apreciar a culinária britânica num ambiente muito agradável. Estivemos no restaurante para almoço, jantar e lanches, recomendamos fortemente as deliciosas sobremesas. Serviço rápido e preço justo.

I tell you something for nothing, there's a cracking girl called Miriam who is very pleasant and may I also add, very beautiful. If I were 15 years younger I'd propose.

Great place to have a meal or drink and a chat. Also if you go early morning for a breakfast its nice and peaceful.

The toilets here are disgusting, even by typical Whetherspoons standards. Tiles are missing, wood fittings are rotting and they are always really dirty. I like going to spoons for affordable food and drinks, but I've been put off this place because the toilets are so horrible and will not go again. The other Whetherspoons nearby are looked after much better.

Being one of two black people in there. I didn't feel weird, which can sometimes be the case in certain pubs around London. Really pleasant clientele, a nice spot for a quiet cold one.

Popped inside for "breakfast,", wow £3.14 for a traditional English, plus unlimited coffee, all for under £4.50..large eating drinking area all on 1 floor, with areas to charge phone, could not fault..

Popped in for a quick drink, after having dinner. The prices are so cheap and glad this chain keeps going. Some cute outdoor seating is available

Got attempted robbery once. Nice food, cheaper prices than the other Witherspoon's don't know why. Just one unfortunate robbery. Still go there almost every Sunday.

We came here before going to see the BGT live semi finals. It was me and my 11 year old twin boys. We ordered 3 meals and 3 drinks. Our drinks came quickly. Then 2 meals (mi e and one of my children’s) arrived. At which point we were told the third meal would be out in 5 minutes. I felt guilty for eating in front of him so waited for his food to come out. 10 minutes later it arrived. We received a small apology and when I said sorry isn’t really good enough the staff member walked away. At this point I said that it was unprofessional behaviour and asked to speak with the manager. His excuse was short staff. I called him out on that. Basically they missed the third meal On the order so had to quickly cook it. If you want to eat together as a group don’t come here

The difference in the staff at this wetherspoons and the central bar in shepherds bush is unreal very helpful cheerful and pleasant in fact the complete opposite of the bush it was a very nice experience

Just went in for a coffee, great value for money. Was £1 something and unlimited refills. Really big pub, clean toilets and good polite customer service! Looked at the food menu looked reasonably priced!

Strongly do not recommend the place if you want to have a pleasant breakfast. Ordered pancakes with fruit were served on a dirty plate with some sausage leftovers 🤢 What's more instead of 4 pieces I received only 2. The woman I spoke to that my order is different was very unpleasant and rude claiming that "it is what it is!!"

Honest food, great prices and great service. Our favourite place to just hang out.

I have dined here several times when visiting London and each time it was a good eat. Prices are friendly, service is quick and the food is tasty. The pub is a place for locals to have a pint so if you wish to find a genuine place it's here. Mind, not very fancy , still agreable.

Beautiful old coaching hotel and restaurant. The service was great! Received a very warm welcome from the host and the waiters were charming. I had the Sunday roast chicken which was delicious. My other 3 guests had the fish which all but 1 loved. Lovely way to spend a Sunday.

I like this place due to its location and the fact there is a lot of light due to the amount of windows it has. Unlike it's sister pub The William Morris a few minutes away which is dark and dingy.

Came here during the week and the food was phenomenonal, came today Easter Sunday, and the food was absolutely disgusting, I ordered the boneless chicken with bbq sauce and coleslaw, and my partner had the chicken jalfreze naan bread and poppadoms, I got coleslaw that had changed colour, and watery bbq sauce, naan bread was hard on the edges, rice was worse the 2nd time round it looked like the rice was thrown on the plate and the curry in a dish was covering the rice, like the cook was annoyed that a customer had complained, chips were blanched cooked and raw, so having to complain and hoping when it was addressed it would be better, it wasn't, going out for a meal is meant to have you feel good, this time the experience left us down hearted and not wanting to come again to this pub, although the manager gave us 2 free beers this really isn't the way to deal when a customer has had a bad experience with disgusting food

Standard Wetherspoons handily located under the Hammersmith Holiday Inn Express. The choice and standard of drinks is excellent but the staffing levels were very poor. Those on duty were excellent but it was just too busy for them to handle at times. Still, good prices for London, normal 'Spoons fare on offer.

So very disappointed with the accessible toilet here. Am a wheelchair user and went there with friends. Needed to use the toilet and found it in a disgusting state. Toilet sxxt everywhere - toilet seat too high and hand rail that does not work. Absolutely disgusted. This has added to my anxiety to go out anywhere.

Typical weather spoon bar. Nice decor,cheap drinks and food, staff friendly and help, but like a lot of other bars they need more staff,but would recommend a visit. Service at the bar is still very slow, only one person serving,and long queues, but the beer is good and very reasonable priced ,still would recommend a visit, but don't be in a rush.
