The Lunch Box in Chichester

I absolutely love this place! The food is amazing and fresh every day. I normally get the chopped salad and sausage roll. Everyone who works there are so nice and friendly and service is quick so makes for the perfect place to grab a lush healthy fresh lunch. Highly recommend 👍

Absolutely 1st class buffet for my Mother in law's funeral. Beautifully fresh, home baked sausage rolls, quiches and assortment of lovely cakes. Great choice of sandwiches. We couldn't have asked for better and everyone was very complimentary. Great communication and very fair price. Thank you Nicola and your team, can't recommend you enough xx

Big sign advertising vegan falafel but no falafel lol. Staff didn’t want to talk to us, took a while to even greet us

Went to lunch box today for the first time, it definitely won’t be the last. The food is amazing the flat white is the best. Prawn salad was delicious. Also their chocolate brownies are amazing . The girls are wonderful welcoming and so friendly keep up the good work guys !!!!

I have ordered from the lunch box many times in the last few years but today the service was really disappointing. I ordered a sausage bacon and egg sandwich with ketchup. Somehow, they interpreted heinz ketchup as heinz baked beans. The cake was crushed and the capuccino tasted like weak coffee and was half full. What's happened guys?

I used to go here often for fresh sandwiches and salads! Was a lifesaver for when I worked in Chi. We need one in Bognor asap :)

I love the take out their baguettes are amazing and hot chocolate too. I want to praise the lunch box as there was a slight error in my order it was rectified immediately and was delivered by the lady on the phone and not deliveroo. I will continue to order and hope many who read this will too. I rate the lunch box 5*

Ordered 2 x bacon blt, stale bread and freezing cold bacon. Called to let them know and they said I was mistaken and it was hot. Avoid!

Staff are so friendly, food is quick, menu extensive. I had pick and mix salad which was delicious and generous. Husband had jacket potato with slow cooked ribs which was soo yummy. They should advertise their gf better because they have soo many gf options too! Highly recommend

I've ordered a sandwich with bacon. For 3.50£ I've got only bread, some ketchup and 1 piece of bacon, that's ridiculous. You can get for this price much better sandwiches somewhere else.The sandwich was made not hygienically, no gloves were used, and the hands were not washed.

Hands down best bacon sarnie in town, and now they do pasteis de nata (Portuguese custard tarts) too!

Whenever I'm in Chichester near lunchtime...always an excuse to have a freshly prepared salad and....please don't eat them all...honeycomb biscuit- love them! Thanks team for looking after our working lunches!

We have recently started using The Lunch Box for our office lunch events. The service is fantastic and the food is always superb, such a wide selection to suit everyone's tastes and very reasonably priced. We will definitely continue to use them.

Absolute stars! I called Emma at short notice to ask about catering a corporate meeting (breakfast and lunch for 8 people). Not only did Emma manage a large array of dietary requirements (including freshly baking delicious vegan brownies the night before) Emma also managed last minute changes in how the platters needed to be divided (we split into two rooms at last minute). Cannot thank Emma and her Team enough for providing delicious and health meals for the delegates. Highly highly recommend! Thank you!

Brilliant Vegetarian In A Box Breakfast

Thought I would give this establishment a try for the first time. For a special occasion we decided after reading some positive reviews previously. Selected the coronation chicken on brown also one on white bread. Disappointed to find that the bread on both sandwiches was dry and hard and intrinsically stale. The filling was okay. I'm afraid to state poor first impression, can't recommend and unfortunately won't be returning. Did spoil to a degree the occasion .

One of only two places in Chichester where one can find Pasteis de Nata. Magnificent. Worth seeking out. Just off South Street, near Confuscious. Hayling Seagoon

My favourite sandwich shop, the food is always fresh and very well prepared. The bread tastes like it have just been baked just for me by little lunchbox elfs!. The staff are always friendly, smiley and give recommendations. My fav probably is the the jacket potato's, but the chicken tikka sandwiches are amazing too. It's making me hungry thinking about the food.... lol If u r looking for good food at good prices and lovely service, Lunch box is the only place to go.

Ordered a baguette and wasn’t happy with it in the slightest , I expect it to be at least a little warm when I receive it especially as it was wrapped in foil but this was stone cold , and that is not an exaggeration, would have to be impressed to frequent this place again

A great little find - really friendly service, greeted with a smile. Very clean and a good variety of sandwiches and jacket potatoes- really tasty and well priced. - even had gluten free bread! Delicious sarnies-fresh, excellent value and great portions. Was so full, no need for lunch! Bread-super fresh, fillings very generous portions and great variety and flexibility on fillings and preferences.

Very nice staff. The menu looks good but my jacket was a tad disappointing and dry. Disappointing first visit but will be back to try something else as everything is very affordable.

Great cakes and freshly made sandwiches. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Wednesdays are special brownie days.

Popped in for a jacket potato with tuna and sweetcorn. Very tasty and reasonably priced. Bought a piece of tiffin which my daughter enjoyed very much. Will definitely return to try out a roll or sandwich. Pity it is only take away not a cafe.

Good fresh food. You can make up your own meal whether it's a wrap or sandwich or salad or panini etc. Coffee. Lovely homemade cakes as well. Excellent professional service they even deliver locally.

Thought i woyld give this place a go dor breakfast rhis morning. Less than half a minutes walk and the tea was tepid and the sandwich cold. On a warm morning you cant even blame the weather. Not impressed and wont be trying again. The sercice was lovely and friendly though.

Ordered on deliveroo and part of my order was wrong there was added sausage that my Friend couldn't eat due to being allergic and even double checjedi didn't enter order wrong apart from that the meal was pleasant and would definitely use again as generous filling and great options

Sweet lady but I paid nearly £4 for a box that was bearly 1/3 full. I find this insulting, and wouldn't recommend it for anyone who is actually hungry.
