Best pub in Exeter by a mile. Come on England!

Sunday afternoons can be a bit dull, but not at this venue. Live music from around 5pm - 7.30pm. What a great find and what a great atmosphere. They've teamed up with another pub nearby who also put on live music from 3pm, so if you like live music and a pick me up on a Sunday afternoon, look no further than St Thomas.

Went to listen to a live band. 5 stars for Stillyano. Great music, but.... Busy, as expected being a bank holiday weekend and no doubt the reason for putting a live band on, on a Sunday. If WE were expecting it to be busy, hence the reason we arrived a good 2 hours before to ensure a table etc.... why can the management not foresee this and ensure the simplest details like having ice to go in the drinks are met? Warm vodka with red bull is not enjoyable. Shame the co-op next door was closed, as we would have gone and bought a bag! PS. Group of 8

We really love it there with our friends makes our Fridays and Saturdays nights amazing honestly.

Probably the worst breakfast ever It was cold and consisted of an Egg Bit of bacon and a waffle Won’t be dining here again.

I felt bitterly disappointed that I didn't get called up to the mic after putting my name down for 🎤 like an hour in advance I.e 11.30 before the 🎤 sesh finished half an hour later than I originally thought. The woman had plenty of time to call my name out, but my efforts amounted to nothing.

Brilliant night with my friends Party atmosphere at the Oak And had me and my Boyfriends dancing all night Great service Great Beer and. Great night Music was also good played lots of Wham And very non judgemental

Toilets let them Down smelly with urine on the floor But had a nice pint of Guinness and was served quickly by a pleasant smiling lady Just need to sort the toilets out

Huge Sunday Dinner served by top chef Lars and a sticky toffee pudding washed down with an ice cold pint of Danish lager Good service and good food.

Wonderful summer evening Lars the manager went out of his way to congratulate my Girlfriend and I on our Engagement Had the Italian lager and a Spanish omelette which was Delicious Paul and Debbie had me and Mia up singing on the Karaoke and the evening seemed to go so quick atmosphere was Great and the pub was very busy as the BT girls danced long into the small hours Would thoroughly recommend this pub as very LBGT friendly with lots of cross dressers And nobody judging wonderful experience Thank you Lars

If you are LGBTQ+ do not go to this pub. My partner went in for a drink and as soon as she arrived was verbally abused my a group of men at the bar saying "What is that?" They continued to repeat words to that extent. When my partner walked up to the bar, the bar staff member, clearly within earshot of the group, didn't look up from the bar as they went to order despite my parner attempting to make eye contact with them. They made no attempt to make my partner feel welcome, offered no support or spoke up in regards to the situation. My partner then left feeling unsafe in the scenario. Safe to say, we won't be returning and will encourage others to stay away.

I've only been to this pub once. There was a great atmosphere and live music. I didn't eat there. So I can't comment on the food

Played here on Saturday night with The Headrush Band, great atmosphere, great staff and a nice pub! Will look forward to playing there again! thanks for having us!

After visiting the this terrible place I was more than horrified after visiting the toilets Completely below standard and up there with a back street ally after a football match Would avoicr like the plauglarger was flat and not good enough to recommend

The pub itself sits on a square of shops, all of which are closed on a Sunday afternoon. First impressions: it's an 'estate pub', intended to satisfy the drinking needs of locals, rather than as a destination venue for tourists. The interior was wide and spacious, yet the low ceiling of exposed support ribs gave it an enclosed and slightly claustrophobic feel. The regular clientele were as you'd expect, men with shaved heads and tattooed arms ordering lagers, though the presence of a classic rock tribute band (Sea Dogz) had brought in a number of outsiders: middle class friends of the band, aging rockers from the circuit, yours truly sitting in both camps. The band were excellent, and their music went down with the crowd so well they've been asked to come back and do a Saturday night.

Absolutely love this place. Great atmosphere. Nice when they have a band and and can chill with friends.

I came here to grab Sunday Lunch with my partner not expecting anything out of the ordinary, but we were absolutely blown away with the quality of the food, the Yorkshire puddings were fabulous as was the quality of meat which was cooked to perfection....

I thought I'd try this place out with my family for Sunday lunch. It was such a disappointment. The Yorkshire puddings were thin ,the gravy was bitter with a bunch of rosemary in it. 1 small sweet corn cut into 3 pieces, not at all...

This pub is based near where I live in St Thomas Exeter Devon it has reopened and has been refurbished. There is now a young chef working there and I've got to say that the Sunday lunch was possibly one of the best I've tasted....
