It was absolutely horrible it tasted very bad and felt really sick after. At 3 in the morning someone was sick. I am not happy

My local legend, one of my favourite Chinese food takeaways. Friendly service.

Went to get takeout as felt hungry in the evening. Woke up during the night experiencing extreme discomfort from food poisoning. Would not recommend to anyone.

Had some late night takeout and woke up through the night with food poisoning. Have felt dreadful all day and would not recommend to anyone.

We spent tonight over £34 and nothing but prawn crackers for free!! Called up and £40 or more for a bottle of coke for free...£40!!!!! Food isn't it's best either! Pork ribs had hardly any meat. I had more onion than meat in my curry!. will not be ordering from there again!! And this place used to be great.

Ok so this is the inside of a fresh pancake roll? (Picture taken when plating up) The outside was a very dark brown/ burnt and the inside was this? … avoid this establishment. Owner argumentative and all about the money not the food. (Response to the Owners sham of a comment below) i ordered three items all THREE were fit for the Dustbin and not for the stomach, which is where all three items went the bin!! If the food wasn’t insulting enough i am told to go through an outside bin and give the disgusting food back for a refund? I don’t think so. Maybe you should go through the bin yourself!! Or maybe you shouldn’t charge the public for inedible food to begin with. (Response to owners second comment ) The shop was phoned earlier than suggested. The time you suggest is the time it took for you to call me back!! I explained on the phone to you that the food arrived inedible and i had taken pictures for you to see before putting the food in the outside bin ( you refused to see them or to give me an email address to send them) I also explained that i never keep food in my inside bin because it makes my home smell. You told me to go outside and retrieve the food from the outside bin and give it back before any refund can be given?? Surely after looking at this review photo you can see how awful the food was when it arrived. Twenty plus years my family have been ordering Chinese Takeaways from different establishments. (Chippy tea and Saturday night Takeaway is the law for many) and its becoming harder to have treats like this because of the expense! ….Food turning up fit for the bin is not ok, you can also make people very unwell. This by far is the worst - From the food to management -awful argumentative disaster (AVOID the hassle good people order elsewhere)

Reasonably priced, does home deliveries, free crackers after some amount. Not on just eat.

Probably the best Chinese in Southampton. Affordable delicious and great staff. I've been going there for years wouldnt get a Chinese from anywhere else

This used to be the best Chinese now food is totally disgusting high price for tasteless greasy rubbish will never use again curry tastes like washing up liquid they have obviously changed chef and just highered there prices without a care for quality of food even looking at it puts you off eating will never pay there high prices again probably better tasting food from a dustbin

This restaurant's kebab is absolutely fantastic. The combination of spices used in the marinade really made the meat sing, and the vegetables were the perfect complement. I highly recommend giving this dish a try but be prepared portion size is tiny !

The best prawn toast ever. They are not stingy on the filling and it was amazing we order here all the time but this was the best one yet!

Used them for ages but gave us raw chicken yesterday didn’t want to help when I rang apparently it’s ment to be like it and it’s raw chucked the lot in the bin and never ate :(

Food was OK.. Rice was dry (I have had better special fried rice for less the price)

We had sweet sour chicken balls but the batter was overcooked and dry

I have eaten at Lucky House few times now. Food is very tasty and fresh. Large variety of dishes and not expensive. Service quite fast on delivery, staff polite and friendly. Can definitely recommend to anyone.

Food was good however one portion of food was missing. Has been deliver in next 10 min after a phone call . Dont order any sauce they dreadful . Coustomer service perfect. Delivery driver very gorgeous lol .

My absolute favourite Chinese takeaway! Have been ordering from there pretty much my whole life! They put so much love into making these dishes so that we can get the full experience of joy!

Absoulty vile. Chicken rubbery. Bbq sauce like a jelly consistency. Currys tastless. Delivery was quick but not worth money atall. Couldn't eat.

This take away shop is one of the best very good service and very polite when taken your order and very good for price I always use curry shop and will recommend them to my friends and family

For if always fresh and good, a kot of range on their menu always order for delivery but this time went to pick up again fast and easy waited in my car and it was brought out excellent service

I ordered at 11:15pm and they still took the order and delivered it to Woolston which was a bit out of their way. The food was hot, packaged well and absolutely delicious. The chicken in black bean sauce was amazing and the shredded chicken was so good would definitely recommend this place and will be ordering again 🤩

Absolutely terrible food turns up cold phone and complain after 3 return calls to try and get refund even offer free curry next time but not prawn cracker coz I could still eat them ,first thing he said was you can put it in the microwave total joke

Best Chinese food l've had in living memory.Lots of meat anf not too much veg etc.Staff polite and friendly.Only con was it took rather long .But worth the wait and had it all straight off the Wok !!

We ordered from here this evening and will not be ordering again. Chicken was like slosh and didn’t even taste like chicken. Chow mien was tasteless and mushrooms were like rubber. Ribs were dry. Poor customer service when addresses and tried to make out we were lying. Do not recommend here to anyone.

Been using Lucky House for around 10 years. Superb food, excellent staff and friendly service. Would recommend to anyone

This is one of the best Chinese takeaways in soton. When I say best, I mean tasty food, quick and friendly service, easy parking etc. Reasonably priced as well. Overall it is worth to try.. You may be a regular.

Ordered food on Tuesday evening.. Prawn balls smelt funny so I refused to eat them.. my partner ate them all and now has food poisoning.. the rest of the food was pretty bland, now I can live with that but food poisoning! Sorry but they don't deserve the one star either. Reported to food hygiene

We only live around the corner so we collect. The food is amazing. All 4 of us have different dishes and it is always piping hot and tastes brilliant. Good portions and decent price. Wouldn't go anywhere else now. Love it!

Took over 2 hours to come and they wudnt even give a discount! The boy was rude on the phone when i rang up to ask how much longer it would be !discusting service wont be using it again

This is a take away but of the highest order. I have use them on many occasions and have never been disappointed yet, quite the opposite. The do deliver if required. I have used many takeaways in my time but not many come up to the quality of this one. Very friendly staff.

I can't tell u how much off waste of money this places is!!!!!! The food is not nice the meat dry and probably been sat in some dark room for year's the rise is extremely stodgy . And the fish is not fresh . But on good note the customer service is good lol

This Chinese cuisine is so delicious and its value for money gives bigger portions than a lot more Chinese restaurants I know see please buy from here
