The Lovat Arms in Glasgow City

I went into the beer garden here for a drink!They serve food but it won't be to me! -There was a couple eating a meal at one of the tables and they had their dog STANDING on the food table eating the meal and sharing it with them!-It was the most disgusting thing I have seen in a food serving establishment!

Visited a few times as it's in close proximity to himselfs work. I was a bit wary at first this being a small local I thought it might be cliquey and unwelcoming unless you were a regular. I was so wrong. Lively wee place with a lovely welcoming atmosphere and staff who can't do enough for you. Lots of locals but the everyone knowing everyone atmosphere is relaxing and not intimidating as with some places. Good menu of pub food great quality and insanely reasonable prices for both the food and drinks. Lovely place we've checked the menu for what our kids would eat as we enjoyed it so much we returned and would definitely return again with even the fussiest member of our family.

Was in the area for a Clydebank FC game at Holm Park, and this was the nearest pub, so popped in for a pint on the recommendation of a few Bankies fans I know. Nice family vibe to it, with a eating area (with tv's in booths) and a separate bar area, as well as a nice beer garden. Good prices for a pint. If happen to be in the area, worth checking in for one or two pints, but in whole, very satisfactory.

Decided to try the lovat as had heard a lot about it, was worth it 2 meals £10 and food was good had Indian curry with rice and the wife had curry and chips both good would recommend dropping in for lunch

Had dinner here tonight... meals were lovely and very reasonably priced. We had nachos and chicken gougons to start, both tasty. The macaroni was ace and very creamy n cheesy. The scampi was also tasty. The chicken with bbc sauce was cooked well but just a little dry. Good friendly service.

Would highly recommend the lovat for a family dinner,had a beautiful meal and big chilled glass of wine after a long day working.The staff are brilliant and nothing was too much of an effort.This will definitely be our new regular.

The place was full of noisy children -so much so we couldn't have a conversation. Food was OK. Wine was terrible. Maybe just unlucky as would go back for the food but not the atmosphere.

Popped in by chance because the train was delayed nearest pub around,handful of locals sharing jokes,great to be in an old fashioned Glasgow pub after 36yrs thanks for the memories

on the border of clydebank and glasgow prices of drinks ok large seating area outside weather permitting .nice lounge and a large bar area staff friendly

Some friends and I went for lunch and we all enjoyed it that we intend to return shortly planning to visit on a monthly basis. Staff were helpful, food good and we all enjoyed ourselves.
