Gravy & stuffing was delish chips were nice rest of the food wasnt the best but after paying for the food you are put off eating it by the smell of wet dogs which seem to be more in there than people! I dont agree with dogs being let in a place food is served but if needed maybe have a seperate place for the diners with dogs!

Called for breakfast and have to say it was such good value, sausage was lovely (not the cheap kind), all hot and fresh, was a lot nicer than the “other” cafe further down the coast, plus we got toast as well which you have to pay extra for at the other venue 😊will definitely be calling again!

Went in for something to eat and a couple of drinks, food was ok, dessert was lovely. What spoiled a good visit for us, was the fact my son had put his £2 on the pool table, signalling he was wanting to play after eating. The only people to pass the table, which was in our line of site (practically next to us) was a cleaner/waiting staff and a young girl that lived or was staying there, the £2 disappeared, so I questioned it at the bar, the cleaner pulled a face and shook her head. I know these things happen, but it's annoyed me how it was just shrugged off. Won't be back again, especially with thieves about 😪

We have been to The Lookout on many occasions and called in last Sunday for some lunch. The place is always clean and comfortable with a great view of the beach/ sea. Staff are always pleasant and attentive and the food was piping hit and tasty. Prices are good, and even better when you use your discount card ! We love this place, it's on our "must visit" list whenever we are in Skegness

We visit this pub often when over in Skegness. Plenty of benches outside and a nice pub inside. Supplies water and bowls for dogs. Homemade cakes are lovely, especially the chocolate one. We only had drinks on this occasion. Comfortable pub to sit in. Dog friendly.

I’m sure we not the only family that wonders what has happened to the family party nights in the bottom room The new lad ok but lights are on , no disco lights, no atmosphere and most of all no family’s all of which are looking for a great night out , kids love to get dresses up disco dances songs etc a couple of games in between , but ballon making ! We are not in the 70s 80s Yes we know loonies had to stop but come on the revenue you must be loosing from these nights surely must tell you that you need to get something similar to loonies back , Have a look on you tube at kids rave one in Skegness this Sunday daytime Not this but look at it busy and packed Please please for the sake of the families night out try and get it back to what it was x

Given that Skegness is a seaside town, there are very few pubs that actually have a sea view. The lookout is the exception. Their outside area is enclosed in a glass wall that stops those famous bracing winds but still allows the view. It is almost on the beach so makes ot an excellent stop off on the promanade. We did find the prices on the expensive side but I suppose you are paying holiday prices.

We had lunch here yesterday (group of 7) and it was lovely. It was clean and the atmosphere was great. The service was really good. They made a mistake with one of the orders and could apologise enough and quickly sorted it. We didn't feel rushed to leave and enjoyed another drink after. Its child friendly which is brilliant. I would definatly recommend and will be going back

Third time in a week, absolutely beautiful hot, tasty, delicious food, at great prices , the lookout is warm and very very friendly , staff can’t do enough all very polite and great at there jobs , lovely place we’ll be seeing you lots though the year I’m sure thanks again , Sharron and Frank

We popped in for a quick drink and some lunch and we couldn’t have been happier. The pub is extremely clean, warm and welcoming. The food was reasonably priced and delicious!

Had a roast beef carvery and my partner had the veggie sausage carvery. The food was hot and very tasty. Will definitely visit next time we are in Skegness.

Great food as always and due to the time of the year, quiet and easy to get a table. We go everytime that we come to Skegness and only disappointment was that the new menu has removed the Plaice which I looked forward too :-)

Always pop to the lookout when we stay at Butlins with our daughter and her mobility scooter. We’re back at Butlins in December and looking forward to the Lookout again

£1.80 more for same 2 drinks as pub next door when I asked why told by bar staff it’s the weekend we always charge more weekends and bank holidays

Such a shame to see how the food here has fallen in its quality. Ordered roast chicken and chips which used to come as half a chicken and homemade chips. Now if you order same it comes as 4 pathetic cheap frozen chicken fillet pieces with microwaved style sweet & sour sauce with kids style chips. Was soo dissapointing.

We arrived on the 27th March for 4 days and we only stumbled across this place by chance. Shame we hasn’t found it earlier. Had a drink on Wednesday night and had lunch Thursday. Four adults and drinks around £40. Excellent food. Was maxing with the great portion sizes and the home made quality food. Drinks and service also excellent. We will definitely coming again in June. This will be our number one place for food. Dog friendly and she was so good. Loved a fuss from other diners after our food. Definitely worth a visit. Really great and friendly staff.

Came here for lunch on the 26th , lovely place , stunning views over the beach , we ordered food and drinks which was cheap at £40 2 adults and 2 children , food nice and hot on arrival, friendly staff will be back when I'm back down that way 5*

We recently got married in skegness and has a small family wedding meal afterwards with 27 guests. We chose the lookout for sentimental reasons. Bear in mind they have never catered for a wedding before, they pulled out all the stops! They decorated the tables, provided table service (which they don’t normally do), specially made a gluten free meal for my son, they had staff ready with welcome drinks for us, they even asked what music we liked before hand and created a playlist for us. The day was absolutely perfect and so much more then we expected and asked for ❤️ Honestly can’t thank them enough :)

Sorry but you've got a huge problem with flies In windows bombarded us all night not good if you want minimum of hundred words for reply might as well tell them direct tomorrow which we will . Not good

Visit Lookout w few times a week whilst we are at our static. Love the Bingo here. Bingo caller Jay & Ali make the Bingo fun & the cash prizes are good. We always bring friends as well.

First visit for years, still really good hot and enjoyable food served by nice friendly staff. Well behaved dogs also welcome. Will definitely call again when in the area.

Disgusting food and staff are very rude when brought up on this , seems like they make the prices up to whatever they want for the beer , paid £4 for a carling 1 night and 4.35 the next night and when asked about this they just avoid and ignore , stop serving food at 5 aswell??? Even though it doesn’t say anywhere seemed abit more like they couldn’t be arsed as they was all sat around having a drink themselves

Went along with the family, great afternoon. Not bad priced. Not a particularly long wait, the young woman was lovely and the starters were out after 10 minutes of ordering. Cheers guys. Will be back

I come in here nearly every week and always charge me different price for my beer every time I always say what is the price for half they said don't know ? And I use my 10% club card and now there taking 25% off as well but not much cheaper one bar staff said the till not taking the 25% off carling which is my drink and another bar staff saying it is am being told different all the time so never know what am paying for my beer

Carvery was nice my partner got the scampi, wasn't cooked properly was all hard and tasted off, wasn't no 1 around to speak to regarding this

Always a nice place to visit, the two new bar girls are brilliant, both don’t have the best attention span but what lovely girls and they really make your visit complete, I said I would send a review and good to my word, food? Well it’s cheap and cheerful and it’s okay, we love the pub, all of the bar staff are really friendly, totally dog friendly, kid friendly, probably one of our favourite places to visit

Wife and I had lunch at this delightful pub on the beachfront. The food was well priced with good quality. Service from ordering to delivery to table was conducted by very polite, professional and happy team members.

Well we ate next door, but would probably have eaten here but the serving of food ends too early for us, but we did stop of for drinks and i would recommend anyone going in there.

i used to use this place often for family meals and entertainment but this year [2019] they have put prices up between 25p and 40p apint and prices up on meals even with a discount card it is still expensive so have now started going...

This pub has got it all. Food beautifully cooked and presented if you want to change things (chips for mash or backed potato rec) they will do it no problem good choice on menu. Staff friendly helpful and polite. Everywhere clean. We visit every week.

Great family bar. Service a range of food and drink. Amusements for kids and the loonies entertainment for little one.

Didn't have any food here but came here 2 nights on the trot when stopping in a nearby caravan. Beer is quite expensive at £4 a pint and queues were generally quite long, but the lads doing the entertainment kept our 2 children entertained for the best part of 3 hours. Good work!

Always good for a pint, sea view and lunch. We visit it most weekends. The food and drink prices are reasonable, with a speedy service. One can’t complain when we have their discount card for every purchase too!

Good food, good views, shame the entertainment was so loud which spoilt the experience, Shame every venue in ingoldmels seem to have this kareokoe style entertainments happening, when sometimes you just want a little peace and quiet.

Stopped here with the family for Sunday dinner and it was really good , plenty of food on the plate and nice and hot and very tasty, also had pudding too which was ace , and very good price too we will be back

Had sunday lunch here on 4th nov-18. There were 8 of us ,all had different meats,and it was lovely. Excellent service too. Highly recommend this establishment. Thank you to all the staff for their welcome.

Decided to take my family for the bonfire event held on the beach (provided by The Look Out, Beachcomber and Boat House). Advertised to begin at 6pm...we arrived just after 6pm to be informed the fire wasn't to be lit untill 7.30pm and fireworks later. Had no choice but to sit in the pub and order hot drinks. The fire was EVENTUALLY lit about 7.40pm but then had another hours wait in the freezing cold for the fireworks. Decent display but can't help but think the advertisement was extremely misleading with the result of very cold families having to spend money on food and drink due to the lengthy drawn out wait!

Stopped off to get a coffee whilst having a walk on the beach. Really nice coffee, lovely views of the sea. Will definitely be going again

love walking here for a good drink but decided to try out the food never again had chips peas and half chicken it was foul peas where cold chicken tasted horrible had to give it the other half chips where dry ended up just having chips for my tea in the end but the pulled pork and cheese melt looked nice wish i didnt waste my money

Stopped here whilst on a cycle ride. We only had a drink. Food did look good though. Used to go in here years ago, they had hot nuts in a dispenser on the counter. Bring them back. Lovely view out to see and staff pleasent.

Went here two evenings in a row . Didn’t eat here but the entertainment was fantastic . The kids were 100% happy . I’m not a Skegness person but this place was spot on. Disco Dillion was fab . Bus stop straight across the road . Staff very friendly .

Visited here with family for a meal the food is average but you carnt really grumble for the price. Although improvements could be made such as with the ladies toilets as the smell is rather unpleasant. Also on attempting to order drinks at the bar I had to interrupt conversation between two bar staff who was swearing and going about there day like customers wasn't important. This place has potential if toilets are kept clean and staff are given training on customer service.

The service here is always prompt. The staff are all confident and well presented. The food is always tasty and really good value for money. The location is excellent. The drinks selection is great and really good prices. My only niggle really is that I don't think dogs should be allowed inside, especially when people are eating. It's not nice to be eating and seeing someone feeding their dog from the table. I don't like the yappy dogs either that ruin the peace and quiet. I understand if someone needs a seeing eye dog but other than that, I don't think it's hygeinic to have dogs in a restaurant

Visited with friends for a lunch and drinks and all eight of us enjoyed the meals,cottage pie,steak and ale pie,service and presentation was good in a very enjoyable surrounding sand it was good value for money,we will be back and would highly recommend this place.

We called in here for a little drink halfway through our walk along the beach. I lovely spot - right on the beach. I expect we came at a good time of year - as it was virtually empty. I imagine it will be the opposite in season.

Went for a roast dinner, deep fried potatoes, boiled potatoes, deli sliced beef, no mash, thin sliced carrots, peas looked like tinned peas or boiled to the hilt, at £6.75. Expected better. Will not be going back.

called here on monday after a lovely stroll on the prom a lovely welcome and service from a young man clean and busy and the coffee was hot and fresh.

This is my all time fave pub, even though i only visit between march and oct as i have a caravan local to it. The drinks and food are always spot on. Great friendly bar staff and a great team who put so much effort into entertainment for the kids in the family room. Also steve who does the quiz and entertainment in the main room always puts a lot of effort in and make the night worthwhile. I don't think i have ever had a bad pint or meal in there. I have been going to this place since i was a little kid and seen it change so much over the years, all for the better. See you in a couple of months, i have missed you.

we have a caravan in winthorpe and lookout is a regular visit for us. we come to see the children’s entertainment, we come for a drink and something to eat. we like we can bring our dogs in with us, the staff are friendly and our children love the arcades. our caravan is closed now so see you next year

food was excellent. proper home cooked and very reasonable and it was happy hour! £2.20 a pint the staff were really friendly and a nice outlook to the sea. It has a lovely atmosphere and you can even take your dog in there which I thought was nice

After a walk along the seafront we decided to have a quick break and a drink. The pub was full! We couldn't believe how busy it was for a Saturday afternoon.

Absolutely perfect. Couldn't have asked for a nicer meal, yes the service was a little slow, but it was quite busy but THE FOOD IS COOKED FRESH!! So we didn't mind waiting. The service was great, the staff are friendly, and here are the most important things, the first being that the toilets were clean, and the second, it's absolutely 100% ultra Dog Friendly!! You can take your pooch inside with you, and have them sat with you whilst you eat and drink. Oh, and the children's play area is across the other side in a separate building so you don't have to listen to the little darlings playing whilst eating dinner, this is something I don't like.

We have been here several times and it is always a great place for the family kids can go and play in the arcade whilst parents sit in the bear garden and in the evening there is great entertainment for the kids in the bottom room and have lots of snacks for all.

This is an excellent family friendly pub with lots of seating indoors and outside, including a conservatory overlooking the beach. The service was quick and friendly, the food hot and plentiful. We chose two meals off the main menu which cost £10.90 with a look-out discount card. If you visit regularly if you are local or on holiday for some time I highly recommend purchasing one (£5) as you save 10% on both food and drink. Dogs are allowed.

Popped in here for a drink only when walking from Ingomells back to skegness,nice spacious bar with a large conservatory that overlooks the sea,my hubby went to the bar to order a couple of drinks and only one person serving behind the bar whist other members of staff appeared to be having a staff meeting,a woman was ordering food and she kept going back and fore to her table confirming what she wanted and we very nearly walked out as waited ages until eventually one of the staff sitting at the meeting came to serve my hubby,was a shame really they were so long in serving us as it has put us off returning again in the future.

We called in here for a quiet drink and my daughter went in the arcade across the way.Unfortunately we ended up near a large drunk family! So we only stopped for one, we wouldn't bother going again, we found cheers bar better.

We were trying to find nice looking place to eat and dog friendly well this is the place food nice.good outside seating and next to beach plus the best thing is parking is cheap shall use again and recommend to doggie people

Went here for Sunday lunch and wish I had stayed in and cooked it myself.Meat was so overdone it fell apart into thin strands.Veg was overcooked and not seasoned.Price looks to be good value but it really isn't.

So been visiting this place on and off for years. Used to have caravan nearby, so know prices and quality. In this occasion my family had a meal. First thing I noticed was different menu and no two for slightly reduced price offers. Out of season these offers will be back on.Three of us had steak and ale pie. Under the small crust was three pieces of meat and two bits of mushrooms. My Son had sole fillet of the lite bites menu. He managed to scrape about a desert spoonful of fish of the skin and that was it. The point being, that as many companies, businesses do, your value and quality is much less during holiday periods. I was absolutely duscusted at the quality and volume of food recieved. So yes, you can purchase a discount card, and yes you can take dogs in. Is that good or bad. U decide.Having been here several times before, voicing my concerns on this visit also fell on deaf ears.

Love this place, a shame it only does food in the daytime. I have been there many times with both family and friends, always have a meal. The menu is the usual pub grub but it's well presented at a great price. You can buy a loyalty card for £5 which give a further discount. Drinks are also a reasonable price and there's a wide selection to choose from.

Disappointed a pub this size does not have any real ales only the keg type most beer drinkers shun.The sea views from the conservatory are good, but overall impressions do match your expectations.

We visited with friends on a mid week lunchtime out of school holidays but it was still fairly busy. It's a big site with both inside and outside seating. It's located on the promenade so geared for people on a beach holiday. It appeared to have a fairly extensive well priced menu + some scrumptious deserts. When the food arrived it was well presented with plenty on the plate. All well cooked and I have to say it went down a treat. Mains was followed by a sweet which again didn't disappoint.We even had a bowl of water offered for our dog which she seemed to enjoy too.

Stopped off by chance as we were walking past. Not the best meal we have ever had but for the price 9 out of 10. The beer was a great pint. Try it you wont go far wrong.

The food was cooked great ordered an medium rare steak cooked just perfect.The staff was friendly, polite and helpful.Theres TVs to watch sports etc.Right on the beach with a few bits of entertainment for families.

The Lookout allows well behaved dogs. It's a big inside so when we have our dog we sit somewhere out of the way, the Sunday lunch is just perfect, potatos nice and crispy, veg cooked to perfection not to hard but not like mush. Staff are all lovely and accommodating. Due to the pub next door not allowing dogs anymore we will be singing the Lookout much more.

This is a really clean and tidy pub/restaurant. Perfect for a hot drink to warm you up after along walk on the beach. Dogs are accepted which was great for us. We didn't eat here but drank daytime and evening. Very friendly staff. The food looked great and will try to eat during our next visit. No food served after 5pm which is a shame, think they should consider extending this to 6pm a lot would pop in for an early dinner and then stay for drinks. Views of the sea are wonderful. Will not hesitate to return.

Been coming to this pub for 10 years now with my family/friends and the food or drink has never been a disappointment, Staff are very friendly and the entertainment has never failed to make me smile

We visit this pub/restaurant regularly when at Skegness Sands in our motorhome, we purchased a discount card the cost was £5 and it gives 10% discount on all purchases. This establishment is frequented by families young old and the blue rinse brigade and the atmosphere is great, just people watching them have a great time play bingo or take part in Mr & Mrs and all that stuff the BRB enjoy it and it is great, they are witty and real nice people, there is a great range of beers, a good menu not served by youngsters but by mature ladies who take time to stop and speak the food is good quality, it is 100% dog friendly with seating outside, it is located in Ingoldmells 2 miles out of Skegness towards Fantasy Island

Been to this place every year since it opened a few years ago ,when we come on holiday the food is not the cheapest ,but the service and quality is the best around and well worth the little extra it's a must to try if you like eating out guaranteed you won't find a better meal around this area.

We visited here a few times whilst on holiday the drinks were reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly and helpful would definitely revisit

What a pleasure to visit this place wether just for a drink or a meal. Food beautifully cooked and presented good selection to choose from. Good atmosphere. Staff welcoming and friendly. Clean throughout. Prices very reasonable even more so if you get a discount card. Manager a comedian. We will be back.

We love this pub. We holiday a lot at Skegness and always use this pub, great views, friendly staff and very pet friendly which makes it an ideal place for us. Only eaten there twice but both times the meal was good and not to pricey if you have a discount card.
