Slower than a wet Sunday. Simple take away order took the best part of 30 mins and they weren’t even that busy. And it wasn’t that nice when I eventually got it either. Plenty of better options nearby.

We enjoyed a very good filter coffee here, they give you a mug with its own individual filter on top so it's nice and freshly brewed. A great little café and happy to say there's toilets nearby too.

Stopped a couple of time while walking the Westcliff Prominade. I had a cup of tea and a bacon and egg bap, but they also serve fried breakfasts, chips, burgers, sandwiches, Omlettes and Jacket potatoes. Seating inside and out with great views.

We started at Herne Bay and cycled to Ramsgate via Monkton and Minster. Arrived at the Look Out at about 10.30. Beautiful views across Pegwell Bay. Sat in the autumn sunshine enjoying the coffee and the views.

Often stop off here for the nearby loos when in the area and today decided to sit a while to enjoy the good weather and the view with a really lovely cup of coffee from this little promenade cafe.

Awful and rude service, owner looks grubby, no mask and basically unwelcoming. As for the supposed coffee, not worth the random pricing and threw it away. Shame as it's a good spot but clearly in need of a makeover and better owners. Far better places within a short distance, won't be returning any time soon.

We stopped here for lunch on 2 occasions. The view is great. The food is basic and the pricing is a little confusing. We have had toasties and a breakfast. The toastievwas OK and the breakfast was OK. Bacon very salty and sausage not good. The owner is always very friendly her staff not as friendly. If you want basic food with a good view this is the plc ace for you.

Offer a good range of snacks and have a small seating area. Friendly and helpful. Taking good care to comply with Covid precautions. Great place for a sunny day to sit outside and admire the views. seems to be popular with the locals. Roadside parking nearby.

Rude, obnoxious staff. Said they were not serving food at 15:45, popped to the toilet & came back & they had served food to a group of eight. Don’t even bother with this place, a real shame.

Three of us each had a lovely scone with jam and Clotted Cream, plus tea for £3 per head, they even happily substituted a soft drink for one of the teas. Very friendly ladies running the place. It has a great location and view. Sadly only two tables in the shade, but otherwise great place to stop off when visiting the Grange, Pugin's church or just wandering along the cliff.

Trip one last week, the tea was ditch-water and the service was resentful. Trip two, just blatant rudeness. Walked out without eating. That's two local's who won't be spending any further time or money at this place. They got the name right - "LOOKOUT" I don't expect quality service from a sea-side café, but a little bit of courtesy can't be too much to ask. No Michelin stars for this "eatery."

We've used this place a few times but our last visit was awful. The staff seemed to resent us being there, were rude and when the food came it was cold and inedible. It's a shame as previously the man serving (who wasn't there this time) was very helpful and informative about the area and we enjoyed it very much.

This seems very much a traditional seaside café offering all you would expect in a straightforward English breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful enough, and yes there was await for the food because it is cooked freshly to order. Very much a place for locals who seem to go there most days. Great view across Pegwell Bay.

Stopped off here when my wife & I were out for one of our famous short walks, they always end up been long. LOL. We only had a drink but the staff were so polite and jolly. The tea and coffee were just right. It needs a bit more advertising I think. We didn't even know this cafe was here.

There's little more than a welcoming grunt when you enter here and it gets worse. Following such a lack of hospitality we limited ourselves to a couple of hot drinks, a tea and a coffee. Both were incredibly weak, making us wonder how anyone could get that wrong given the tea is three ingredients, and the black coffee a mere two.

Dropped in to this little gem on our coastal drive today, ordered a coffee then saw the rock cakes, then the wife saw the crumble so added those on! All scratch home made and lovely. I even added a bacon and egg bap for "desert". Don't judge a book by its cover and give this little place a try for a great British caff experience!

We stopped here for tea and toast on our way into town. Felt the good was nice but unfortunately the one member of staff was not very friendly. Hardly spoke and I had to call to be served she could see I was there but just carried on washing up. It's not somewhere I would stop again there are other nicer places nearer to the town

A nice enough place to stop if you fancy a quick bite and a refreshment. I thought it was a little pricey for what it is. I mean a sarnie and a cuppa tea for over £4.00? I mean it's hardly haute cuisine. It is what is it: a greasy spoon, style, no fuss cafe. I feel that owners are simply guessing what the price should be. Price should match quality and I didn't feel that I got that. Outside seating is available but it's all a bit ramshackle with kids seats and tables. It could do so much better both in terms of food, drinks and decor. It doesn't take alot of push the boat out and I would hope they improve things because they are in no shortage of tourists and locals alike.

The best thing is the view, it really is something else on a clear day you can see right round the bay. The second best thing is the cuppa, served up in a mug and great value. Oh & I quite forgot the staff, lovely ladies. It gets very busy on a warm sunny day.

The Lookout Cafe on the clifftop at Ramsgate on a hot, sunny May morning..Young families with icecreams, pensioners lunching on jacket potatoes piled high with fillings, freshly brewed coffee, tea served as weak or as strong as you like it, home made cake...and bacon butties made with good quality bacon and really fresh ' real' bread. Only a few tables indoors, but plenty of seats out in the sun with views straight across the Channel. Just as a day at the seaside should be!!!

Food was good, place was almost empty but service very slow. Had a Black Friday voucher for half price food. Checked before service as limited menu due to kitchen storage problems. Told it could be definately be used on steak as it wasn't a special or reduced menu. However on receipt of the bill was told it could not be used. Not happy but paid up.

Very expensive for a very small coffee as cups seem to have got smaller to when I last was there, and not nice to see a team leader passing cups over to customers by the placing hands on the top of the cups rather then the handles , then putting scones out without even washing hands ,can say I will not be returning .

Lovely place. Yeah sure it's a bit dated, but that kind of adds to the faded seaside glamour charm. The owners were lovely, and the fish and chips was exceptional, the best I've had in ages. Great mug of tea as well. Top marks.
