Friendly atmosphere decent food. Food could have been a bit warmer but that’s probably my preference! The cauliflower cheese was very lacking in cheese so it was a bit bland. Venue itself is clean and tidy and staff are welcoming and friendly. Despite the ‘porch’ area, there still seemed to be a cold draft coming in from the front door whether that was the door being left open, I’m not sure. But otherwise a good place to meet with friends and family.

All staff provided brilliant service, especially Kyle & Charlie. The food was the best that I have had in a Hungry Horse, and they were very accommodating for my dietary requirements. I will be coming back again when I am in the area!

Went to the Lodekka on Monday for lunch with the wife had a great meal served by cholle the food was out real quick lovely and hot had jerk chicken and the wife had mixed grill we will definitely be back

Had a great night the lady at the door was amazing showed us to our table cleaned it for us the fish and chips was outstanding the fish itself was amazing ,the toilets were very clean, ladies that was and being a NVQ qualified cleaner I pick u on everything,the atmosphere was electric ,there was a band playing called High Fly ,all the staff were so helpful I really had a great night ,thanks for a great night ,we will return soon 😀.

Just had a great evening at the Lodekka, our curries were lush, and Jamie looked after us to make the evening perfect.

Excellent value breakfast and coffee. The pub could generally do with a refit as carpet and furniture is very tired but this is reflected in the price you pay. The food and service is always very good at Lodekka. I enjoy a breakfast here on a Friday morning as it's not too busy. It can get very busy during the evening and at weekends.

Food hot and good value. We ordered kids food first and went back to order ours. We could have saved £10 if we ordered all at the same time. Bar staff need to advise. Waiting staff very good.

The Lodekka in Brislington is a brilliant place to visit! From the moment you arrive, the friendly and welcoming staff ensure you feel right at home. The menu has something for everyone, with delicious, well-priced food served in generous portions. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the quality is always top-notch. The only minor downside was being seated near the door, where the occasional cold draft came in. However, this didn’t take away from what was otherwise a fantastic experience. I highly recommend The Lodekka for its great food, warm atmosphere, and excellent service!

Very very pleased. 6/03/24 we're making many visits here at present as we have a relative in hospital in Bristol. We have found, of all the Hungry Horse establishments we've visited, Lodekka has been consistently the best, the steaks are always good, cooked just how I like them, rare. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially Laura. Service is always good, no long waits. 7/01/25 still the best Hungry Horse we visit, the food is always better cooked, served hot, speedily and larger servings. The staff were as friendly as ever. Well done.

We had a lovely time at the Hungry Horse in Brislington Bristol for mums 89th Birthday. We were a party of 23 this included adults children/babies Nick was very helpful with taking our food and drinks orders. The food was lovely We enjoy visiting the Hungry Horse and would recommend this venue to friends and familyxx

I love this place, food always nice and look fresh not dry, staff are good as always. I've been here a few times, I was telling to my colleagues how nice the food is.. in fact tomorrow i will be there again with my family.

Had Breakfast with Santa, staff were great friendly and patient with our very over excited children!

We had an absolutely fantastic time at the Breakfast with Santa event! From the moment we arrived, the festive atmosphere was truly magical. The pub elves were a hit with the children, playing games and keeping everyone entertained with their cheerful antics. The craft packs were a wonderful touch, allowing the kids to get creative while waiting for their delicious breakfast. The addition of crackers and gifts added even more excitement, making every child feel special. And, of course, Santa himself was absolutely brilliant—warm, friendly, and full of Christmas spirit. He took the time to chat with each child, creating unforgettable memories. It was a beautifully organized event, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a joyful experience. I highly recommend this event to anyone looking to add some extra magic to their festivities!

Served by Jayne, food was reasonably priced, came to the table nice and hot. What more do you need??

Firstly one of the breakfasts we ordered was not put through on the till so after being served 2 we had to wait another 10 minutes for the other one. Food was not that great considering their normal menu is much better. The craft pack was useless the inside of the cracker had wax crayons that had melted over the colouring page and the hat so that couldn’t be used. We paid £9.99 for breakfast with Santa well what a joke he wandered around the kids he was great but then the gift came out his sack well I couldn’t believe it the smallest little stuffed donkey I’ve ever seen I know the kids would all enjoy seeing the big man but for a tenner I’d have at least expected a wrapped gift of a selection box. We didn’t wait around for a picture just not worth the wait. I’ve heard toby carvery did the same experience for same price and kids had good presents and excellent experience so that’s where we will be going next year. The organisation was terrible and also some staffs kids dressed as elves who were throwing balls of paper around and running around as well. Very disappointing

I drop in here on the way home after work as often as I can. Fantastic value food which is really very good quality. Always impeccable service, and incredibly kind and attentive staff. Also there's a playground for kids and a spacious carpark if you're driving. Can't recommend enough.

The management moved mountains to accommodate us when we had a slight problem. Laura the waitress was so professional and in our view should hold a management position. We cannot praise her enough.
