Went for an appetite before hitting town great atmosphere staff friendly with no "tude (attitude) which was refreshing

Great breakfast choice, food came out hot and well presented. Staff were friendly and helpful, will definitely be going back again.

Cheap n cheerful food, seems busy most of the time. We didn’t stay to order as it’s an incredibly complicated set of Menus. Offers all over the place and trying to work out the terms and conditions is crackers. I read the terms on each offer only to be told there were even more additional conditions in the half page of small print!! Bit of a joke really. Shame, as it’s a good location and the food being brought out looked okay albeit small portions. Tip to the owners… just make it simple please. Think about your target customers - they’re not rocket scientists armed with algorithms to calculate the best offers to take. Too many offers and too many conditions sort of makes it smoke and mirrors… which suggests trying to hoodwink your customer. Tip to other patrons who don’t want a headache of working out the cheapest option… McDonald’s, Burger King and KFC are all very close.

Lovely family birthday party. Well situated table for 14 guests. Prices were really good and food was great. Food was on our table within 20 minutes of ordering. Will definitely return, thank you:)

Staff are rude and ignorant been to the bar 2 times out of 4 and served last every time even if someone walks straight in they got served first food is the only okay thing service is the worst I’ve seen in ages rather go the Yh black castle (another green king). Were the service is much friendlier

My first time at the lodekka and my last omgg,I had the super breakfast orange juice and a espresso coffee, first thing first orange juice wasn't chilled coffee was tepid cup wasn't warmed first,in comes breakfast first impression looked spot on until you eat it, the beans were cold and so were the mushrooms,so back goes breakfast a lovely lady took away my cold breakfast and politely replaced after a wait. Breakfast no 2 was hot and absolutely floating in cooking oil,I can see why we have to start fracking in this country the lodekka is draining the country of its oil reserves lol, it took four tissues to soak up the shear massive oil slick on the plate,the toast comes with a knob of cheap and nasty margarine which tasted awful,you have a hard job cutting the sausages because the knife has no teeth on it and the skins were tough, the extra black pudding was ruined by the shear amount of oil on the plate,what a absolutely dreadful experience, one of the staff came over and asked if my breakfast was OK I politely told her about the shear amount of oil used,she politely replied it is a fried breakfast so if you have poached eggs then the breakfast will be floating with water lol the bacon was soaked in oil oh it was awful.PLEAE GO ELSEWHERE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

during the euros me and my friend would come here and after that it had become our regular. we normally had a great time with lovely food so we continued to come down and watch the premier league matches. we usually just sit outdoors but due to the rain we decided to move indoors and sit by the tv screen. we ordered our food like usual and were having a really nice time until a staff member called Noah came and said that we had to move as it was someone’s table. We were quite confused as no one was there and there was no reservation. we got no reason as to why we have to move. we had to take all our food and move to another table which wasn’t cleaned. the overall attitude of the staff member is why i’m making a review as we weren’t given a reasoning or apology for it. due to this i would not recommend it as there food is not worth how you get treated.

11 oz steak as per menu, was probably the poorest one I have had at any restaurant/Pub recently. However service was good and also friendly.

I'm just across the road from here, so i come here fairly frequently for a drink or usually for breakfast. Can't really comment on most food as i just get the breakfast. The breakfast is very good value and is mostly cooked well. I've had a couple of times where, (like a few have said), the bacon does have quite a few black bits on it which gives the impression they don't clean the grill very often. Doesn't bother me overly, if it happened everytime i would definitely say something. Service is usually very good and friendly. Deb has been my waitress a few times, she's very friendly and good at checking if everything is OK 👌🏽

Went there a couple of weeks ago we both had mixed grills. The fried eggs were hard the steak was like shoe leather suspect it had been cooked from frozen. The gammon and pineapple cooked on a dirty grill as they had black bits all over them onion rings were burnt on one side don't know how that can be as most onion rings are deep fried. think they may have been reheated on the griddle. the only good thing on the plate was the chicken. i don't think there was anything wrong with the ingredients. the problem is lazy cooks or chefs

This is mine and my partner’s local, it’s always a good experience with great food and atmosphere. The waitress Yuka is a particular favourite of ours; she’s as lovely as can be, very chatty, and always allows time to have a chat with us. Can’t recommend this pub enough!

We had a Company meal meal at the Lodekka. The staff were great and service was prompt and efficient with smiling staff. Not sure about the headphones one of them was wearing.

Very disappointed in our visit today. We usually love it here but I feel like I’ve wasted my time and money on this occasion. Food was overcooked and our child’s dessert was forgotten and when it came it was pathetic. Didn’t get asked if I wanted sauce with my steak, didn’t get asked which wine I wanted and didn’t get asked if we were happy with our food. Feel very let down when I didn’t exactly spend a small amount today.

Food really tasty and well cooked though a bit basic. Service polite though could be a bit better . Atmosphere, it is what it is... family oriented, so a bit noisy! Cleanliness, a bit lacking. Tables very sticky, as is flooring !!!

Overall we really like the Lodekka and tend to visit A LOT. Great choice of food and drinks and being able to use an App to order is a huge bonus. The food is always pretty good and a great price. The staff are always really friendly and helpful bearing in mind how busy it gets at times. I would say the only gripe is decor is now looking quite dated, dirty and disheveled. I really hope it will get a makeover at some point and maybe don't have carpet considering the amount of families that visit with the inevitable throwing of food on the floor by the youngsters. We'll definitely be back soon :-)

Trying to get served at the bar was ridiculous, 2 girls work their butts off and place full to bursting. The table top QR code a different story, works an absolute treat. Food was a reasonable standard, outside space although close to the road was nice

Absolutely never going there again. Literally feet were stuck to disgusting carpet. Microwave meals at its worst. Ordered food and was there in under 5 minutes so hot I couldn't ever eat it. Disgusting... why are so many people rating this place. It's so horrible. Everything is microwaved!!!!! My mate had a job there employed as a chef and then was confronted with a wall of microwaves. Look at the photos and tell me you like nuc food
