I visited here with my baby grandson recently. The high chair was filthy and well worn. I asked for a small portion of macaroni cheese for the baby and was charged£4.00 for what was a portion of curdled looking cheese sauce with pasta. The first attempt had pepper through it without being asked or told this. The second attempt was disgusting. I said to waitress to remove the cost of the macaroni cheese from my bill as the baby couldn't eat it.however the woman asked for the full amount for the bill and offered the first lot of macaroni to take away. Didn't want it. She was challenging me to to a further confrontation about paying the bill and I was now stressed the baby had no lunch. So I paid and left. However what happened to the customer is always right. Would not go back to this tearoom ever.

Small friendly tearoom with good menu for both meals and snacks. Service was prompt. Would have given five star rating but for staff cleaning up after 3.00pm (closing time 4.00pm) - smell of cleaning agents affected taste of coffee and cakes -place was spotless but please leave cleaning until after closing time.

This is a lovely place to spend some time in with your friends. The tea and cakes were just lovely. The staff were very friendly and the place was nice and bright. Ideal for those who have special needs. I would recommend this place but it is very busy about 12 and 1.30.

I visited this establishment a little while ago with my mother, sister and daughter. We reserved a table as I was travelling from Oban. The tea room did us proud, fresh sandwiches, soft and fluffy,an abundance of tea,a delicious earl grey for me, and hot oven fresh scones and a selection of little treats to enjoy. I've travelled all over the country sampling afternoon teas,as I'm a cake and tea addict, this establishment is right up there with The Old Course and I'm surprised to say Better than a 5* golfing hotel we visited for the same thing. The tea room was disabled friendly, one of the main reasons for choosing it as my beloved sister is motorised. The staff were attentive and the premises were spotless and very modern, even had Molton Brown toiletries in the restrooms. To sum up,my standards are of the highest calbur as I have been in the high end of hospitality for 20 years. Please if you get the chance visit this delightful place, you'll not be sorry.

Lovely place staff really friendly fruit scones are to die for. Had the scone small dish with butter and one with jam absolutely delicious especially as it was warm. Also had a cappuccino which was very hot and stayed that way until I was finished and at £2 was well worth it. When I went to pay staff asked if I enjoyed it something you don't always get asked they only take your money and that's it would deffinately recommend this place and I would go back for another scone and cappuccino

The tearoom was nice and bright as you enter. It was well stocked with home baking and tea and coffee . You could also have meals. The staff were excellent and the place was clean. It reminded me of the old tearooms my mother and father talked about.

This place is a little gem in Blantyre. This place does all homemade food, from baked potatoes, baguettes and sandwiches to homebaked scones and cakes. The prices were slightly on the high side but this is reflected in the fresh homemade food, rather than bought in stuff. The tables and chairs were quaint, the shop was spotlessly clean, whilst the staff were pleasant and nice to speak to. Would definitely return in the future.

The place was really nice and tidy, abd the food was lovely, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. But even though the toilets facilities were kept clean and tidy there was a table next to the entrance to the door of the toilets,...

So 1st and last time visitor ! Was recommended to me so made a trip for lunch. Ordered soup which both came luke warm so requested that they be warmed up to eating temperature. Take 2 on return one was slightly warmer the other still luke warm. As am not one for take 3 spoke with staff to ask if I could pay as decided to go elsewhere, no charge (not eaten) but the soup "apparently" take a while to heat !! Offered to heat "again" but thought after 2 attempts, not. It should be good to go from the off otherwise why serve cool soup. A less than satisfactory experience and to be honest not a great ambiance, my wife thought seating was uncomfortable. Sorry but that's how we found the place 😐

Second visit here & was another amazing meal. We had the fish & chips, ‘boring’ burger & chips, maple & garlic siracha chicken gyros & southern poutine loaded fries. Everything was cooked well, tasted amazing, well presented & we didn’t wait long for food to arrive. Service was excellent, waitresses are lovely. Didn’t have any alcohol this time but cocktail menu looks amazing! Restaurant is really well decorated with lots of unique features & there was a great, buzzing atmosphere. Forgot to get photos of the food, was too excited to eat it!
