The little tea room in Barnsley

Came with my friend not been for over a year for one reason or another realised how much I missed it booked in next week for afternoon tea lovely Louise runs it very good it’s not fast service but good service she runs it alone so don’t be rude but be patient at busy times x

My friend and i visited for the.first time. We were made to feel very unwelcome. Lady behind the counter was quite short with us and really rather abrupt and unkind. We will not be back.

The food here is excellent t. The cakes are home made and delicious. The welcome is warm and friendly. Fabulous!

Lovely place for afternoon tea you get four triangle sandwiches scone with jam butter and cream a slice of Bakewell tart and a cupcake all washed down with tea yummy and at just 8.95 a good price

We came last night for our friends baby shower, what a fantastic time we had , we had afternoon tea which was absolutely fantastic, large choice of lovely fresh sandwiches, plenty of choice, followed by proper tea, no t.bags, various lovely cakes and Bakewell tarts plus fresh cream scones and jam, nothing too much trouble, had a great time. Would highly recommend

Really lovely little place, the service was fabulous loved the cake and the coffee☕️ made to feel very welcome unlike what has been said on here, the lady was really busy but the food was lovely and came with a smile will definitely be going again and again!!!

Not very nice service even though we were the only two customer's. Very surly staff. Won't be going for a second visit.

La comida era buena, el servicio terrible hicieron sentir en el camino y no bienvenidos. Luego nos dijeron que no había tiempo para sentarse y ganchillo aunque habíamos estado en la misma cantidad de tiempo que otra 4 mujeres. Todos compramos bebidas y comida y una tarta. No entraremos en ella ha perdido al menos 4/6 de los clientes y nos habría gustado ir en cada semana, así que en términos de dinero entre £30/35 posiblemente más.

Visited The Little Tearoom today as part of a small craft group, we all ordered two hot drinks, lunch and some of us cake too, so spent approx. £30 over the course of an hour and a half.

Was told after eating lunch with friends that we spent too much time without a drink!!!!! No problem new venue next week!!!!

Visited here quite a few times as its local and the food is always lovely and very reasonable priced too. Had salads, toasties, buns, hot chocolate and tea. The afternoon tea offers a good selection. Would certainly recommend.

A lovely little cafe with a good range of cakes and a friendly welcome. Not much more to say, it's the perfect place to pop in and catch up with friends.
