We popped in for some lunch whilst visiting the Boston fair and had such a lovely experience. The woman serving us couldn’t have been more welcoming and made us feel comfortable from start to finish! We had our 3 year old with us and the ladies inside the kitchen told us they had some books inside that she could take out to keep her occupied. Food came out quickly and tasted delicious. There is a little private courtyard you can choose to sit in, and because of that we were able to enjoy the sunshine! Despite the fact that the kitchen is located amongst a busy town, and during the summer fair- it still felt lovely and quiet and private. Overall a lovely experience, would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Cycling through Boston today, we popped in for a vegan breakfast which was delicious, particularly the homemade bubble and squeak! That’s not something we come across regularly, a great touch. Then we spotted the cakes…. difficult choice:: we went for a vegan brownie and a pistachio flapjack. Both were exceptional! We’ll be back to sample the rest. Really friendly and helpful staff, clearly they care a great deal about this gem of a cafe.

We were looking for a breakfast that had gluten free options and detoured into Boston during our trip to Lincolnshire after seeing the great reviews on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. The breakfast was freshly cooked, with tasty bacon and sausages and well cooked eggs - always important for my other half! We sat in front of the fire, the café was welcoming and cosy. The staff spent time chatting to us and checked t make sure we had everything we needed. We bought homemade cakes to takeaway which were also delicious and a lovey treat when we got home. We will definitely be back!

Such a lovely gem of a place. Friendly, welcoming staff. Food is excellent and plentiful with a good choice of menu. Wasn't surprised to learn that the owner, who does all the cooking and baking, was a finalist on The Bake Off. Will be returning and would recommend.

We popped in just for a coffee, but saw the menu and decided to stay for lunch, the place is lovely, we sat outside and were offered cushion pads and a umbrella. The coffee is lovely, food is cooked to order, the staff are friendly, chatty and want you to have a great experience. The cakes are home baked and looked gorgeous, unfortunately we were to full to sample. Liked it so much went back the next day with my nephew we sat once again in the sunshine sustained by two pots of tea and a light liunch. Thank you so much

My wife and I found the little kitchen around 3 years ago and now whenever we are near we call in for a bite to eat ! But now it does not even have to be when we are near we purposely drive miles for in our opinion one of the very best eclairs we have had (oh wait I shouldn’t put that because everyone will try them and there won’t be any left for me ) but honestly I have to say they are perfect! Had normal, coffee, and a Jammie Dodger one everyone amazing ! Other cakes are available even a choice of gluten free cakes which my wife has to choose 😊 The little kitchen has plenty of variety for all tastes and every single visit has been a pleasant one ! Looking forward to our next visit 😊Stay Safe

As we are camping in Holbeach, we saw how amazing Boston looked and decided to go for a day visit. We were unsure as to where to eat, as my youngest is coeliac. We were struggling to find somewhere to eat, on typing in gliten free eating boston, this little gem of a place popped up. It is a 2 minute walk from the St Botolphs church. All day breakfasts, sandwiches, salads, burgers, cakes, hot and cold drinks. They have outdoor and indoor seating and are also dog friendly. My daughter hadedium sized breakfast and it was gluten free with gluten free bread, she absolutely loved it. I had the chicken toasted sandwich, oh my goodness me. My taste buds were well and truly satisfied. Everyone of us left stuffed and very happy. A definite if you like your coffee and your food. Service was polite, friendly and quick.

went away hungry and disappointed. not good value for money compared to the 'traditional' breakfast. 1 slice thin toast, 1 Linda McCartney sausage, 1 grilled mushroom, half a grilled tomato, 1 hash brown and a spoonful of beans. Shame really that they take off items to make it vegan but fail to replace with anything. beans, bread, hash browns and tomatoes are cheap ingredients - why skimp? my party and I will not be back.

My niece and I are gluten free so go here now and then as they understand what that entails. They are very flexible with the menu which is fab for us. My niece is four years old and GF which can be tricky as many cafes/restaurants are very adult GF friendly but not so much with little people. They put a little plate together for her and have GF bread if we want it. Sorted.

Checked menu and were delighted to see some quite exciting looking lunches including the two sandwiches we shared; one highly flavoured chicken, bacon chipotle thing, and one pepper, halloumi and humous thing. This was not our intended destination for our lunch, the usual cafe having closed at 2pm, and we found this lovely little place after seeing a Bill Board/A-Frame in the main Square. This is a beautiful little cafe which, when we visited was spotlessly clean, and has a very nice atmosphere. Tastefully decorated in pale pastel colours with little nick nacks here and there that gave it a sort of 'country kitchen' feel about it. The staff were smartly dressed and very polite and helpful and will go out of their way to ensure you have an enjoyable meal. There is an extensive Menu, but we asked for something that was not technically on the menu, but the staff prepared it for us nevetheless. Prices are very reasonable and the food was well cooked and very tasty. I odered the 'regular' breakfast and was pleasantly surprised when my food arrived by the size of the meal. This was a VERY generous 'regular' meal that would be equal to a Medium or Large breakfast in other cafes. I always look for anything that might need to be improved upon, but I could not find any fault with 'The Little Kitchen' cafe. It is a little off the beaten track and away from the main hustle and bustle of Boston's main 'Square', but quite easy to find to be fair.I shall definately use this cafe again when on a day visit to Boston

We popped in after reading tripadvisor reviews but was not bowled over as others seems to be. A lovely cafe which offers a reasonably interesting lunchtime menu. I ordered a flat white but was more like a latte so needed an extra shot to make it drinkable for me. Hubbie had a tea but was less than impressed. He ate Romanian sausages and chips and I ordered the cottage pie. We were initially impressed with the prices and menu offering but now understand why its reasonable based on quantity and quality. The accompaniments portion size were small. My cottage pie which offered such promise had been bulked out with diced potatoes, carrots, peas, tomatoes and baked beans meaning there wasn't a lot of meat. It all tastes fine and the service was good but on the whole was not the 5 star we expected based on others reviews.

I love visiting this café! On my most recent trip just last Friday, I had a gorgeous well presented white & strawberry hot chocolate - this is the best, most well balanced flavour I've had anywhere. Not too syrupy like some places. I also had a bacon & sausage sandwich on nice fresh crusty white bread. Nicely filled, not greasy & very well presented. Staff here are always friendly & ensure to the best of their abilities that you receive top notch service & enjoy your meal. They take time & care not just over your food, but over making you feel welcome & at home too. The café is one of the cleanest I have frequented & does not have a greasy smell & feel to the air that some places do. Always feel like a valued customer here, whether I pop in for a quick (Italian) coffee, or a more luxurious afternoon tea, or breakfast / lunch with friends. Would recommend a visit to anyone visiting Boston.

My wife and I had "brunch" here several times, the food is very good and cooked to order in the easily visible kitchen. It has a cosy and relaxed atmosphere and prices are very reasonable considering how good the food is.

Staff very friendly, service was quick and polite. Great Value. This restaurant has been turned around to be a clean, cosy cafe/restaurant. Some really nice desserts on offer (sadly wasn't in the mood) such as Banoffee, Sticky toffee pudding, fresh home made vanilla ice cream. First Visit (not my Last)

Off the beaten track of the main shopping area but well worth looking for. They serve door step sandwiches that will keep you going until teatime.Wish we had a cafe like this nearby.

My son and I have had breakfast here on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. The food is hot, freshly cooked and plentiful. We've also had bacon sandwiches and cake to take away and was just as happy with the quality. They also take part in the suspended coffee scheme which is a great thing to do.

Popped in on roasting hot day for an ice cream sundae with a friend, as another friend recommended it. I had Bangladesh friend had strawberry. This ice cream must be the best I have had anywhere and sadly (because I can't buy it in the shops) is homemade and just delicious. The sundae was superb layers of ice cream, biscuit crumbs, toffee sauce and banana, served in a compote pot on a slate, beautiful.

Visiting the area for the day, we located The Thatched Cottage via Tripadvisor. Booked a table for late lunch. Fortunately a pleasant day as having our furry friend with us we had to sit outside. Our lunch was as good as hoped for; a generous portion of roast lamb, served on a bed of lovely mash, accompanied by red cabbage, yorkshire pud, roasties and apricot stuffing. The sides of creamy blue cheese leeks and trio of carrots, french beans and swede were colourful and tasty. Our meal was served promptly and the half pints of Doom Bar washed our lunch down nicely. Friendly service A thoroughly enjoyable lunch, a good find which we would recommend We may not have booked had it been a cold wet day, delighted it wasn't. Note to TTCR, perhaps look at a doggy owner corner in your bar for diners over the winter months?
