Came for a meal in December with my friends from work, lovely quaint little pub. We were seated quickly, one of the ladies we went with has allergies and was told she could be catered for, a great start.We had Camembert to start and then all chose the ribs....which were amazing! It got very busy so I advise booking but we were not disappointed! Will definitely be returning at a later date

We were tired and hungry after visiting Stone Henge, the Stone Circles, and an ancient burial site. The lion was conveniently close, so we decided to check it out. We walked in and easily found a large dining area in the back. We sat down, reviewed the menu and patiently waited to order drinks and food.After 25-30 mins of waiting, with no one offering drinks or appetizers, I walked to a server and ask for service. Her response was sorry we are not serving food until 5:30. Which was 1 hr away, it would have been nice if they told us as soon as we sat down and got comfortable.I guess we were INVISIBLE and the servers did not notice a group of 4 Americans waiting to place an order for drinks and food.Did, I forget to mention we were tired and hungry!Poor customer service!!!!There is paid parking just outside and free parking around the corner.

I went with my friends and partner to watch the England v Spain game. Sadly England lost but the atmosphere was still great in there. The land lady made sure she found a seat for everyone, grabbing the garden chairs from the back and rearranging the tables so everyone could get a glimpse of a goal. When the match was ending, all of the tables were given a bowl of roasties to share on the house. The land lady was chatty and kind. The staff were also really nice. It is a small pub on the edge of romsey but I would definitely go there again.

The White Hart Inn Chalkcroft Lane Penton MewseyAdequate for a one night stay. Staff were most welcoming and helpful. The check-in with the corporate IT system proved problematic. It refused to take my visa card(s) - 3, and we eventually paid by cash. The staff were excellent, and service was also first class.

16, Latimer StreetRecommended by my family living locally who visit regularly. So we did. Quite quirky we loved that! Bar area and separate eating. Ordered mackerel pate on toast (homemade) & mushrooms on toast both were delicious. Coffee was pretty good not too strong. My sister had a smiley face on her latte… I was envious but promised it would be my turn next visit 😂 Mike the owner was lovely very friendly and knew our cousins. My sister & I will make this our go to place as I live in Surrey & she in Hants. A good midway point to meet. We both have fond memories of Romsey as children. So see you in a couple of weeks time & there after > 👍

Weyhill RoadThe food at Pink Olive was absolutely delicious. I had the King Prawn Karai and my girlfriend had the Lamb Bhuna - both cooked perfectly and packed plenty of flavour!! Paired with a Naan Bread, Pilau Rice, Saag Paneer and Bombay Potatoes this was an all out feast with no skimping on the portions from the kitchen and everything tasted delicious. The staff were attentive without being overbearing and the all-round experience was great! If you want to go for an Indian or get a takeaway curry I would highly recommend.
