Waited over 40 minutes for my chips, and watched as they were delivered to the wrong table and we watched as they just sat there. Waiter was adamant there was no error, and eventually admitted fault. This is the last time I come here.

I attended the wake of a best mate with his family, friends and colleagues from around the world. The venue was clean and modern with high quality food and a great variety of drinks... though the choice of 0% alcohol beers was only 1 on the day. Excellent venue, highly recommended

Our table was booked for 6pm and we weren't seated until 6:50pm. Only parts of the food ordered were brought to the table and then it was disputed by the staff that one of the orders was made, even though they took the order themselves.

We had family visiting us, so decided to book a table for 5 adults for the Sunday carvery. The service was excellent and the food delicious. Can highly recommend. We will definitely be coming again soon.

Went to the comedy night saturday night Two different bars upstairs only two people serving at each, queueing 20 mins for a beer not my thing then the comedy of the comedy club. The act was funny but the bar service hilarious 1 serving - no guinness and over 25 mins to get a drink i had food beforehand The very first time in my life anywhere in the world i have had a chicken caeser salad with a breaded chicken portion ! Whoever runs this place seriously does not know how bad things are or doesn't care

We were served by Ethan on the bar, he served us delicious cocktails. Absolute asset to your team. Kind and caring person.

Service is dire, they encourage table service via the app then don't deliver the drink and you end up going to the bar Stop employing kids and get some decent staff in

Waited 30 mins for my drink to come ordered online I went to the desk and asked and got told it was coming from the bar downstairs it wouldn’t be long so waited another 10 mins and still not there Waste of £11

We ordered via the QR scanner as it states its the fastest way 30 minutes later we received our coffee! Wasn't worth the wait either.

We went for Sunday lunch pricey but you get what you pay for and it was worth every penny also drinks are very pricey compared to our local pub

First visit today for Sunday carvery after it being recommended and it was brilliant. Eight of us and kids enjoyed excellent food and service. Staff were very good too.

Company Christmas party. Venue perfect, atmosphere good, location great. Could have done with staff being more attentive with more of them...

A brilliant venue for our event! We had an amazing afternoon here. They were very friendly, helpful and accommodating to our requests. The space is large enough to not feel overcrowded and the VIP seating area is beautiful, with views over the river, textural decorations and disco lights if we wanted. The food was really good portions and delicious. Would definitely recommend as a venue.

Expensive disappointment, don't take cash, don't serve value for money food. Just across the road is a shining example of a proper eating drinking place.

Disappointing, expensive doesn't accept cash £21 for a so called Sirloin steak that was no better than a sandwich steak £16-£18 for most other stuff on the menu. Across the road is the Black Lion, for £18 you get a filling nutritious meal and 2 pints. Guess where I'm going from now on, you got it I'm turning right.

Usually have a good experience at De Koffee Pot but not this weekend. Sitting outside, went in and ordered 2 coffees and a cheese toastie. Coffee arrived pretty quickly but waited over 20 minutes for the toastie by which time what was left of my coffee was cold. And the tables were sticky....hate sticky tables! Seems food is coming from the Left Bank kitchens these days...not as good as when De Koffee Pot used to make it.

What a lovely unexpected find!! My friends and I were on a nostalgia trip to Hereford and wandered down to the old bridge. We noticed the new ( to us!) Restaurant complex and ventured in. What a treat!! From the decor to the view and then the food! It was served promptly and such a varied menu. Delicious. Would certainly recommend.

Decent service. Sadly, smoking is allowed on the terrace, which put me off a bit as we were with our children for lunch. Nice view.

Brilliant venue for a functional

On the first evening in Hereford my friend asked a local where would be a good place to eat. He recommended going to The Left Bank. It was a good suggestion. The food was very good, the service was excellent and the view was lovely. I’m pleased that it was recommended to us.

We just attended a cocktail making class at the left bank hereford this weekend and it was so good. We got to make three cocktails and our bar man /cocktail maker,Matt, was so good very professional and was really good at teaching us. In between cocktails we had some shots such a lovely venue and great experience. Thanks so much! 👍☺️

The perfect Sunday Roast. Great atmosphere and views over the river, makes for a chilled out afternoon.

We were treated to lunch on father's day and wife's 70th Birthday. 5 off us and we all agreed that the food was perfect no faults. And Thanks to Richie and staff service was excellent. Thanks all from Mark, Bev Rio & Margaret & Pete. Will be returning soon

De Koffee Pot. Fantastic food and drink . Gets busy quickly, well worth a visit.

Food was good but the service was unbelievably slow (that’s for the ones of us which got the food & drinks we ordered). Very unlikely I’d return unless I had a full day to spare and didn’t mind my order coming in dribs and drabs. Disappointing!!

Riverside bar was really nice. Food was cold, service very slow and let the whole experience down. It was only saved by the 80s disco that took me right back to my schools day.

Myself and my father visited the Left Bank / Koffie Pot in the early weeks of December. Upon our arrival, the owner, Rob, was present. His presence enhanced our experience ten-fold. He expressed a genuine interest in myself and my father, an authenticity that can be hard to find in this trade. We could choose between ordering via their online service, or face-to-face at one of their bars; a flexibility that cannot be taken for granted. The food we ordered arrived in good time, and was absolutely faultless. There were many decisions to make when it came to our beverages of choice, as each individual bar had differing offerings. All-in-all, this was an experience like no-other in Hereford, and we would strongly encourage all to visit The Left Bank, or the Koffie Pot. Many thanks to Rob and his team :)

We really liked the atmosphere and decor but simply cannot understand why it costs more to go up to the bar yourself, pay for your drinks and carry those drinks back to your chosen table than it does to order via the app and expect a member of staff to find you and bring those drinks to you..Just ridiculous.

Came here for a drink after work with family. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, the place felt really welcoming. We enjoyed our mulled wine and mince pies..even better when we managed to get 50% off. Great place to come in the summer and winter.

A lovely Christmas meal, ABBA tribute and Roddy as the DJ. Staff were amazing after my slip on the dance floor, broken ulna and radius.

Welcoming staff, nice and warm decor for Christmas. Great cocktails menu (Lychee and Rose gin 🤌) Thursdays BOGOF on cocktails.... I mean comon 😄. Xmas Dinner was lovely too, beef slightly chewy (but they always are). Ham was delish.

30 mins still no drink Same as last time. Carvery is below par was hoping with 2nd visit it would be sorted but it hasn't so I wouldnt recommend this place.

Not bad, but not great either. Went for a late Sunday lunch. Tried to book using their online system, but found it difficult to use - not clear which restaurant we were booking for. Eventually managed to get a booking on the phone. Great location,, not too bad a room (would be great for a large group), but carvery a bit disappointing - meat was OK but veg rather poor, with very strange roast potatoes. Decent value for money overall, but probably a place to go (at least for a carvery) if you can't get in anywhere else

Went to a after wedding party. Great setting by the river, bar staff were brilliant, friendly and up for a laugh, bit professional. Drinks abit pricey , but overall its the best venue in town.

Great place for a beer outside by the River Wye. Use their app and the beers are brought to your table.

The view and ambience was just brilliant. Hence giving it 2 stars. The staff were very friendly and great service.The drinks were average. But the food was very poor standard. The noodles were very dry, no taste and giving an off smell, not at all authentic. Few items on the menu were not even available.Definetely not going back again.

My husband and i got married here Friday 13th, it was nothing less than exceptional. The staff were utterly fantastic, extremely thoughtful and they couldn't do enough for us or any of our guests. Highly recommend this venue for not only an event, but an everyday place you can come too with the most beautiful view down river. Thank you Left Bank

Don’t go if you want to be looked down upon by extremely rude and arrogant staff. Around 20 or so of us went to left bank a couple months ago for our friends birthday, from start to finish the service was slow, drinks were forgotten, members of staff were unprofessional and rude. Unfortunately as having to travel from Worcester my phone was on low battery and I had forgotten to bring my charger (we’ve all done it), I politely asked 2 members of staff behind the bar (ladies) if they had a charger to charge my phone behind the bar. They apologised and said they didn’t, so me and a friend went to the local asda. Before leaving we ordered 2 drinks, I bought an iPhone wire in hope I could then charge my phone as my train tickets were on there. When arriving back to left bank (15 mins later) our drinks had been forgotten about and were nowhere to be seen on our table, they refused to help me with my phone even after explaining I wouldn’t be able to get home. We explained the drink situation, the card machines were playing up and the one female worker with the short hair said ‘oh my days’ loudly in a very rude and arrogant tone. Luckily the gentleman who works security said I could plug it in his computer after I went down and asked him. We sat back down at our table, bought a bottle of champagne and my friends boyfriend asked ‘excuse me could we please have some champagne glasses?’ To which the female with the shortish brunette hair said ‘back of the queue!’ very rudely. This then caused a fuss as she radioed down to security we were causing problems and swearing at staff which was not true at all. We were all paying customers, were not causing any issues whatsoever and have been told we cannot return for various reasons which sound like a bunch of Chinese whispers. The manager who I spoke with over the phone was extremely condescending and wouldn’t even let me speak. We now wouldnt want to return anyway.

Attended a wake there and the food was good.

I’ve been frequenting Left Bank since it opened and through it’s various owners over time. I personally love it! It’s the best place in Hereford for drinks, you can’t beat the location inside or out. A lot of people have it in their head Left Bank is expensive, it’s not. Perfectly reasonable all things considering.

Ordered cocktail which was stolen by another customer (it was rude Brunette white man who tried to get away with stealing my drink). Service very slow and they let the thief go.

Paid to see queen tribute band they over sold tickets was tiptoeing to see over someones head in the door way then you could barely hear the singer as technically difficulties so over crowed i would not pay to go there again it was an utter shambles

The Left Bank is a fantastic venue, with good atmosphere, food and drinks, so it is with a certain amount of disappointment that I have to leave these comments, detailing a poor experience, communication and service in the hope that someone will respond and give the refund promised. If there had been a response to multiple email or facebook messenger communications I would not have to try and spur the owners into action. Last Saturday, at around 3.00, we arrived with two children and were informed of the table service and on app ordering. We enquired whether ice cream was available as that was what we wanted. We were told yes, and then found a table, sat down, downloaded the app and paid by paypal. After an approximately 20 minute wait we were told that the ice cream was too cold to be served. Not wanting an alternative we asked for a refund. This was readily agreed but after a bit of toing and froing, which lasted another 10 minutes or so ,we were told that they could not refund us there as only the owner could do a paypal refund. We would have to email him to get it. We protested that this was poor service that we should have to jump through hoops for a product that was not able to be supplied and that we weren't given the refund there and then. With no alternative, however, we took the email address and sent a request straight away. We were told that the owner was shortly arriving and it would be mentioned to him to be dealt with the same day. Nearly a week later, attempts at various communication have elicited no response. I can understand a freezer malfunction. I can forgive teething troubles with a new system. What is inexcusable is the failure to give an agreed refund and the lack of response to attempts to get resolved. I can only hope that this review will spur on some action.

Prior to Covid visited many times. With the lifting of restrictions I thought to visit this Sunday 15/08/21. However refused entry due to not having a Smart phone. So took my money into town and received a warm welcome for a meal and drinks. So sadly guys your lose.

We came here with friends and our younger daughter Saturday night after a table at beefy boys and a few drinks in the imperial. What can i say? from the time we got to the gate the security guy welcomed us and checked if there was a spare table to which there was one inside with a lovely view to the river, on entering a polite girl asked us to to track and trace and sanitise our hands then pointed us to the direction to a table. Everyone in the left bank was well behaved and there was a fantastic atmosphere. We enjoyed a good few round of drinks inside then a table become free out side to we swapped tables. a guy called matt looked after us all night, matt was very polite and made our night with his hospitality skills so thank you matt. To be fair all staff were fantastic so well done to you all. Toilets were very clean and in general we felt very safe in these testing times. On the down side our heads Sunday felt a bit funny. Terrible place. Cold uninspiring food. Dangerous un-environmental outside gas powered exposed fire pits. Awful sachets for extras and all very expensive 😕

Always good here...great atmosphere helped greatly by the location!! Ordering drinks on app enabled a really fast service. Just a suggestion though whilst sitting enjoying my drink, I noticed that the waitresses did not know table numbers and were wandering around with food ....which I guess arrived to destination cold. Love 💕 this place

Sat on middle balcony for drinks service on Saturday night. Really enjoyed it and tucked away from all others nice amd private. Although a very long walk to the toilets. Need to work out opening the internal ones on the other floors.

Here for a Wake. Definitely a good experience - fab balcony to admire the views of Hereford, the cathedral and river. Very sunny when we'r were there and so able to sit outside. To much food on offer, but it was fresh and fine for the occasion.
