So relaxing pub will be kept .

The Beefeater beside the hotel has been shutdown, it was a great pub/restaurant, there is a restaurant inside the Premier inn but not a patch on the Beefeater, probably wont be goi g back. Used it at least 10 times last year.

We stayed here for one night and can only say it was absolutely superb. The staff were lovely and served us dinner even though we arrived after the kitchen had closed. The building is full of character and history and the service was highly recommended. I especially liked the bar as there were both hotel guests and friendly local customers there and it really made us feel part of the village. It is only a few minutes walk to Goodrich castle, which is well worth a visit. I loved this place and Will definitely return soon.

Been here twice now, impressed both times. Good place good grub and beer! You could improve the bike parking - so we can lock the frame to the stand (Sheffield style?). Thank you - will be back.
