Lovely food and friendly service, also dog friendly. Value for money.

Went in for birthday meal today after great reviews, but after allowing dogs in restaurant, this I feel is not acceptable. I will not eat in there till dogs are removed. This is a food establishment after all.

Tried this place (under new management) tonight, best curry for a long time, nothing was to much trouble. All 3 of us enjoyed our food, staff were great and attentive. Keep the standards this good and we will be back.

We landed on these guys with no notice and 13 people, they handled us with ease and humour. The food is great, the service brilliant. Loved it!!

Great flavours to the dishes which we have discovered are mostly resourced from local suppliers . Excellent service , nice atmosphere. If we lived locally we would definitely make it a regular visit

Fabulous meal this evening! Myself, husband and daughter had starters, mains, rice and naans, food was amazing as was the service. Would definitely recommend, just be mindful 10% service charge is automatically added to your bill.

Fantastic meal! After the restaurant had a late night issue with our delivery we were treated to a full refund and added extras to our meal, again free of charge. The meal was delicious and we will definitely be eating here again. Brilliant customer service and even greater food!

There is a small little waiter who seemed to take a dislike to me. I asked for water told there wasn't any. Gave us 2 cokes instead, so I ask the other server who got the little guy to give me a water. He proceeds to fill it to the brim of the glass, like I had proved him wrong or something. The little guy was pacing up and down with only 2 other couple in the restaurant this was very uncomfortable. Little guy brought me a plate with curry from the last persons dinner on it. Stevie wonder would have notice it, Yet I had to tell him to take it back. After that uncomfortable curry experience he gives me a bill with a 10% service charge without letting me know. Hello service charge is at the discretion of the customer. It's a shame because food was quite nice but you'll find yourself leaving with a bad taste in your mouth.

Tried Indy Yum for the first time on Saturday with friends and we all absolutely loved the food, service and setting. It was FAB! We shall definitely be coming back for seconds!!!

We had a really bad experience. As we arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty and since we was a big group, they directly put some tables together. This was the only good service, that they offered. They forgot a lot of dishes, people, who ordered vegetarian food got meat, I ordered vegetarian samosas, got four mixed ones, as I said, I don't eat meat, they removed two and gave the rest back to me. 50% of the food, same price. One side dish was cold, some main dishes more spicy than in India. They never say sorry about anything and told us, the mistakes of mixing the food were ours. The staff was unfriendly, at one point nearly everybody was smoking in front of the restaurant. They were wearing gloves and touching cards, candles, plates, happy crosscontamination. In the end, they give us boxes for the rests, instead of doing this service by themselves. As we had to calculated our payments, we decided, this was the worst service we ever got.

Had the chicken tikka and rice, it was really nice , the staff are all amazing . The place is lovely and clean, will definitely be going back again.

My husband and I visited last night for dinner and really enjoyed our evening here. Great food, friendly staff and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere.

Excellent food. My go to Indian dish is chicken tikka naga, this is not on the menue but I had the madras. The madras was the best madras I've had, so many layers of flavour, with similarities to my naga. Quality cooking. Thank you.

Great meal last night. Pleasant service, very tasty food. Slight mistake on order but very nicely rectified. Should maybe make more obvious that it is byo alcohol. Would certainly go again.

The quality of the food was superb, friendly service too. No alcohol license, but no problem at all to grab a bottle of wine or a few beers from any of the many local shops.

Had a take away this evening - Mandarin chicken, a stir fry with noodles. I can honestly say it’s the worst meal I have had in ages. The food was stodgy , cold and tasteless. Disgusting. You have been warned!

Delightful! A good range of choices at reasonable prices. The vegetable pathia was delicious - it appeared freshly made rather than a more mass-produced approach; it had a delicious, individual spicy flavour. Service and ambience was good. One other rrcommendation if you usually share a rice portion - you may need to order rwo as the portion size was on the small side.

I honestly hate giving bad reviews, especially when the food is so good!!!! However, my experience in the end was very poor. Me and 2 colleagues had a nightstop on our way back to Scotland after working in Cardiff for a few days and we found this restaurant after leaving our hotel. The food was absolutely outstanding, we loved it! However, our bill weirdly came to over £110, for 3 people! At the time I never twigged and it was not until the next day that I looked at the bill to find there was almost £40 of meals on our account that we did not order!! Yes we should have checked it before paying but after a 12 hour working day plus the short drive from Cardiff, it just never twigged. On the Monday I e-mailed the restaurant advising them of the mistake and asked how to go about receiving a refund, I also messaged on Facebook incase they didn't monitor the e-mail inbox, they read the message but did not respond. I messaged on Facebook again on Sunday, 8 days after our meal, advising that I would leave a review on Facebook, Tripadvisor and Google. I got a message back asking for my phone number and that they'd forward this to management, I asked them to call on Monday when I was back at work, it is now Thursday evening. I have now gave up trying to get that £40 back. The management have decided not to rectify a mistake and that I am very disappointed in... In short, cracking food, but check your bill before paying!!

Do not order from this place, they took our money and didn’t give the order, won’t refund and are making a run around to get out of it. Sketchy business. Stay away

It was OK, the chicken was a little bit on the tough side but sauces were tasty. We all went for the set menu and it was fairly average fayre. The onion bhajis were OK but I'd be surprised if they'd been made from scratch (not hard to do). Staff attentive but food just OK. Maybe it was the time we visited (late on a very quiet Sunday evening).

Food was good staff need training to be more friendly

Ordered Dynamite shrimp, supposed to be spicy. It was sweet. Such a disappointment. My meal was supposed to have chicken and prawns, it came with chicken only. Finally food arrived so cold. What a waste of money.

I had the most amazing experience at this beautiful restaurant. Looked after and catered for by some really friendly, lovely people. The food is out of this world, such high quality and great presentation. 10/10. Would definitely recommend. Can't wait to return.

We stayed in Ross-on-Wye on Thursday on the way back from a camping trip. I can honestly say this was one of the best Indian meals we have ever had. Everything tasted like the chef enjoys cooking and we will probably go back to stay in Ross again just so we can return to Indy-Yum. Thanks guys for a perfect end to our holiday.

As a first time visitor to Ross on Wye, we looked for an Indian restaurant. The food was extra special and the service was excellent and all for a very reasonable price. We would recommend this restaurant and would not hesitate to eat here next time we visit Ross on Wye.

This is a difficult one, as I wanted it to be good. And to be fair the starters were to die for. The mains just let everything down, wouldnt have been too bad if it was on the cheaper side of a meal. For the price, the main should really be at least as nice as the starter minimum.

Nice food different take 2 types of food.

Excellent Indian fusion restaurant. Good food, with very good presentation and style. Mostly had the Indian food, so can't comment on the chinese half of the menu.

This was fantastic we did not book but was fitted in the food fantastic and the staff could not do enough. We were on holiday and went twice!! Thanks Guys.

We had an excellent Indian meal of chicken masala and lamb biriani, with all the usuals of poppadoms an excellent naan breads. The service was excellent and great attention to detail and keeping the customer satisfied. The only thing we did not know when booking was currently they do not have an alcohol licence so can only serve soft drinks, but do allow you to bring your own.

Had an amazing meal here. Food was spot on cleanliness 100% and staff very friendly. Will definitely be back. Very tasty. Thankyou guys

Excellent service. Excellent food. The menu was a bit different to what I was used to from Indian restaurants. I explained what I wanted ( a korai ) and they catered for this. Very friendly waiters. They could not have been better. The food came out. And it was amazing. Mine was the definite agreed favourite.

Having spent a lovely few days in Ross on Wye we booked our last meal of the weekend - mainly as we were intrigued by the name - at this delightful restaurant….we were thoroughly impressed by the food, the service , the ambience created by the owners and had a delightful and delicious meal , would definitely visit again and thoroughly recommend…..well done 😊

I chose a medium lamb dish called Lamb Manchurian which was brilliant, the accompanying mushroom rice and garlic naan were also spot on. Service also very good. Would certainly go again when next visiting Ross.

Very very poor experience. Would not go there on a busy night and certainly not believe the staff. We booked 2 tables of 4 online hoping to catch a good meal after looking at the website menu. First when we arrived they informed us that the 2 tables were not of 4. one was 4 and the other were x2 double tables. They said they will move us together once the table becomes free. The menu was nothing like online options. It had far fewer dishes. One side indian and the other Chinese. And then the issues started. We sat for 45 minutes before getting a glass of water. They took our order after 45 minutes. Then it was another 45 minutes to wait for food. Even basics like started - pappodums was not given earlier. When the started arrived they apologised for the delay and said the pappodums will be complimentary. Then to make matters worse the mains took longer. The food lacked spice and flavour. The nan bread was good. Rest was average. Starters were the best option. They tried to make up for the delay with complimentary dishes which were frankly inedible. It was an insult to give us food that was tasteless in the hope of making up for the error. We feel that food was left over from earlier and that is why they offered it to us. At the end they apologised that they were short staffed and that lead to delays. This is unacceptable. They should have informed us at the start that they were short and there would be a long wait. In which case we would have left without being seated. He did offer a 15 % discount. However given the horrible experience of waiting, poor food and terrible service this was frankly not good enough. We saw another table storm off complaining of similar issues. We would never recommend this restaurant unless you are the only customers and they can meet acceptable service standards. Overall, we would never go back and definitely avoid this place.

Ross on wye is fortunate to have such an excellent Indian Asian fusion restaurant. It is really excellent. There is a great choice and it's reasonably priced. They don't serve alcohol, but allow you to bring your own. And the music is really first class. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent Turkish food... very successful...

We had an excellent authentic meal here. The service was attentive and professional. The waiter and chef glady gave information about the ingredients in our food, even giving us some chilli flakes to take away with us. They had been a condiment on our table and a fine addition to our food. Totally authentic Turkish Coffee and Rose Turkish Delight to finish. Would highly recommend for value, freshness, authenticity and servic.
