Really excellent pub with new management, Tom the landlord is absolutely accommodating 3 screens with sport or whatever you like, lovely Beaver Town Neck oil and a very chilled Moretti. Child friendly and dogs welcome Also a very promising back garden. Oh and pork scratchings that are quite magical.

Since the refurbishment by the new owner, the pub has taken on a new, positive vibe Well worth a visit to enjoy some great hospitality either in the pub or in the garden, which is a great sun trap If you are a sports fan, they have Sky Sports and TNT Sports showing all the popular fixtures across a wide range of sports

Nice little pub in Farncombe, good atmosphere and friendly bar staff. Perfect for a takeaway pint and a walk along the river on Summer evenings too.

Walked in ...was a few in and was instantly told its closed didn't look closed to me and says open till 11 ???

Sunday lunch was a delight. Loved it. Small, intimate, pub with very friendly staff. And the roast potatoes mean that going there again.

Well what can I say this was our second visit the 5was back in March for my Sixth birthday and I had a fantastic time the food was out this world ( thanks Tim ) Karen ( The Bar Manager ) she and her partner Glen have become great friends xxx hence our second visit

Very Friendly and homely old fashioned pub. The Staff are polite and professional in their work, nothing is too much bother for Karen and Tim. Great atmosphere with the locals popping in regularly and Friday night is Karaoke Night. Perfect location as close to the Canal where you can stroll at your leisure then pop in for a beverage and meal. Meals are only available on certain days of the week so check first not to be disappointed. Every Sunday Chef Tim cooks a traditional Roast Dinner, both Adult and Child meals are available. Again it's best to book a table in advance not to be disappointed. Overall a lovely little Pub with locals who are Friendly and I enjoyed my time there.

So I have to say after my Sunday afternoon visit to this pub that my faith has been restored that there are still some great places to go for a drink. Very friendly with a great atmosphere, cold great tasting beer with plenty of choice. Home cooked food and somewhere to sit outside and a large public car park right next door. Considering the times we now live in it is very reasonable priced and even the owner was there to have a friendly chat with. Highly and totally recommend a visit.

Traditional type pub, small with pleasant garden, a few real ales including the local Hogsback brewery's TEA. Today on Saint George's Day they hosted the local Morris side, mummer's play and an English folk session.

Food, especially the roast potatoes, was amazing. Entertainment......superb 🎤♡

I just had a pint before going to watch the football at Wey Court, £4.10 for a pint of 1664, bargain. Didn't have any food, if the food matched the decor expect a lasagne, avocado prawns and chicken Kiev. Somewhat dated but a nice little pub.

Absolutely love this pub! Been going here for years an no matter how many times the owners change. The atmosphere doesn’t and the food just gets better! Recently had the wake for my granny here and the food they put out was amazing! Everyone loved it

The Davies family all had a lovely roast today. Can recommend lamb shank and beef roast. Helpful staff good home cooked food.

pipes are clean the place is clean and it a very welcome pub.

This has to be one of the smallest pubs in the area but the new landlord Simon is the best and he will make you really welcome and with the pub being freehold he has a fine range of real ales and lagers. I will be a regular visitor .

best pub in the area!! New managers are really friendly and the chef is magnificent. Chili con carne and burgers are just awesome!! Nice backyard patio on sunny days too. They have definitely made a huge difference from the previous owners

This pub will be reopening again next week under new management. hopefully by the 15th January 2016

Nice old pub. not many of old public houses left these days. wondering weather my cousin David still drinks there lunch times....

Nice pub and great food for the price and on that basis I would give it 5 stars, but then the landlord poors your drinks away when you go out for a cigarette becuse its 11:25pm? As its near drink up time, but doesn't have the decency to tell you before he poors it away. Very aragonite! !. This pub is only local friendly and doesn't like newbys.
