We ordered paneer masala, chicken tikka masala, egg rice, garlic naan and popadoms and we got a free saag - thank you 🤩 everything tasted fresh and hot and full of flavour it was delicious we will definitely be ordering again and recommending. The delivery was on time and the lady was friendly and polite. Thanks again it was yummy

This place was AMAZING! The best Korma I’ve had in ages. We had enough food to feed four people and had leftovers for a very reasonable and affordable price. Highly highly recommend!!

food was cold with hardly any flavour

The Dopiaza was utterly bland - it just tasted of Tika chicken put in unseasoned cooking oil with some peppers and very few onions chucked in. Mango chutney was the consistency of a syrup with very little flavour. Saag aloo was nice and so was the Madras, rice was nice but a bit dry. If I could message the restaurant I would have done to try and sort this out but there is no option to message them.

The chicken just falls apart it’s so beautifully cooked. Best curries I’ve ever had from this place and they always accommodate specific requests. SO GOOD!!!

Best curry house in godalming, delicious food!

Food very nice but spicier than expected for a bhuna. Delivery Driver asked for a delivery fee when he rang to inform me he was on his way, despite just eat/restaruant stating free delivery, refused to pay delivery fee as this was not advertised by the restaraunt.

Definitely the best Indian takeaway in the area. Ordered Lamb Karachi and partner ordered a Prawn Bhuna with two Naans sheek kebab and rice. The Karahi was delicious lamb melt in the mouth sauce spiced perfectly and the sheek kebab two came rather than one and with mint sauce was delicious. Will be ordering here again thank you.

Food excellent as always. But also 29 minutes late. Ordered ahead of opening time specifically to secure an early delivery. Was unexpected as delivery is usually prompt.

I have had good food in the past but the last 2 orders have not been great. King prawn puri was a tub full of onions. No depth of flavour. Ceylon chicken was so salty (and spicy) we couldn't eat it. Not even a nice flavour. Both lamb and chicken meats were very dry. It seems meat portions are now smaller. Tarka dhal was nice Naans were nice. Just not worth the risk anymore.

Perfect, as always....lots of meat, lots of sauce, lots of flavour...and a complimentary Bombay Aloo too...Royal Spices rock! Not to mention the very polite and friendly dude who delivered 20 minutes earlier than I was expecting.

AWFUL!! I have been going to this takeaway for a while and for the first few visits i have to say good and service was fine no problems then on another visit The man in CHARGE swore multiple times in front of my child whilst he was talking to his delivery driver, which was bad enough then giving them the benefit of the doubt , we ordered again to collect, on this occasion they forced me to walk all the way to the other side of the building through a carpark with my disabled child at night to get cash, so i had 10% off, which they have always given for collection only orders when paying with my debit card. nightmare place Never ordering again.

Amazing food just a touch late arriving

I moved to Haslemere from Tooting where I was spoilt for choice. I tried every curry house in Haslemere and surrounds but found nothing that was authentic and flavoursome. I resided to the fact that I wouldnt find a curry place with the flavour and spice i was used to until I discovered Royal spice!!!! Thank goodness I searched and tried godalming way, it’s a bit out the way but well worth the drive. I can highly recommend this place. The curry is as good as you can get if you like big flavour and spices. So good. My favs are lamb Methi and chicken tikka Nagga. Oh gosh it’s good!!! Service is great and friendly and they listen to any special requests. I ask for extra hot and I get extra hot 🙂 So happy I found this place.

All the sauces/oil had gone everywhere so it was a bit of a mess and a bit cold.

Food is always really tasty and delivered on time. The Naga is great, really captures the right level of heat and flavour from the naga chillies.

Delivery came before the expected time and every dish was very tasty, will be ordering from here again and would recommend.

Only coming from Godalming not that far

Painfully slow. Ordered a take away to collect, the wait was well over an hour! I'd expect this if waiting for delivery, but not pick up. Even when we got notified that our food was ready for collection, we drove to Royal Spices only to wait an additional 30 minutes! Absolutely shambles, other people were phoning in wanting to know where their order was, so it didn't seem to be just us. Back to Wharf we go, they're so much more efficient and faster.

The food was almost an hour late. It was stone cold by the time it arrived, and our delivery driver spent fifteen minutes driving up and down the wrong street despite our repeated instructions.

RS went over and above - had freebie dish and driver struggled to find my place but delivered hot and delicious. Sagwala was perfect. Thank you

I had chicken tikka masala and lamb rogan josh with lemon rice......super tasty, plenty of sauce and meat, can't fault it, and 15 minutes early too...best take away curry in Godalming, by far.

Friendly delivery of excellent meal

Wonderful curries, as always. For taste, texture and quality ingredients the Prawn Dhansak I had was exceptional. It was only slightly late and I am not complaining. Appreciated the extras, poppadums, chutney etc. A real treat. Thank you.

Order a lamb Biryani and to be honest, nights as well have called a rice Biryani. Only had like 4 small little pieces of lamb. The amount of chicken in the butter chicken was also not great. Not happy at all with the servings for the amount.

Food always is amazing. But every time, the delivery guy bizarrely rips a leaf off of a shrub in my front garden before throwing on the ground by my door every time we have a delivery. Don't think he realizes I can see through the window and on my ring doorbell!

Ordered from here twice now, both times the delivery time was reasonable for the time I ordered. The food was fantastic (both times got the Sundoori and a Chat) and the portions have been big enough that both times I had some leftover for a delicious lunch the next day. This will definitely be my go to for Indian takeaway

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The food had an extreme amount of flavour which I could not resist eating more of. The starters were simple yet still delicious, for example the chicken pakora was crisp and tasty. The samosas had a tasty filling and was also crispy. The butter chicken is very tasty and creamy. The chef mix special starter is so delicious. Overall, the food was all equally tasty and there was nothing bad about my experience with it.

Food was good however it was delivered 25 mins late. Also I got a phone call from the restaurant once I’d placed my order advertised as free delivery, asking me to pay the driver £3 for delivery and told if I couldn’t pay to make sure I did next time. Pretty sure this is not allowed by just eat. I won’t be ordering again.

We live the RS food and usually service is good our friends had a bad experience with late delivery and we convinced them it was a one off but the order took 1.5hrs to arrive!! Not great with hungry kids despite the fact we called straight after ordering to check the order had been confirmed and was with the restaurant. Unfortunately its put us off good food is great but next time will find somewhere quicker

We have always used The Wharf for our takeaways but recently have been very underwhelmed with the watery, bland and half sized portions. Decided to give The Royal Spices a try! The food was absolutely delicious! Hot, fresh and the flavours were lovely. Fast delivery too! Will be ordering from The Royal Spices from now on. Thank you!

Sorry to say was absolutely disgusting chips, very cold, chicken Tikka, cold and hard delivery driver also asking for extra money wanted an extra £3 for delivery was not happy with the food. I delivered it to the garbage bin for quicker than they delivered to me will never ever order from here again

Third time ordering here and it’s now my new favourite curry place. I’ve also found a new favourite curry through them, the chicken Malaya which is absolutely divine! And they always put extra coconut in my Ceylon when I ask. Both my son and I love the food from here. Couldn’t rate it more……. 5 stars. Only place in our area on just eat worth ordering from.

The food was decent quality but the major problem was everything (even the food we ordered which at other Indian restaurants usually has no spice or mild spice) was very spicy! My mum couldn’t eat her food. I can eat medium spice so I could eat mine but given I ordered a mild curry it was way too spicy for that.

Have been ordering from them for a long time, but the chicken quality is just very hit and miss. Had to leave 4 pieces out of 2 main meals as they tasted gone off, the rest were hard and over cooked. Such a shame, as when it’s good, it’s so good, but this has really let it down recently.

In godalming as recently moved to cranleigh and exploring the area, fancied Indian takeaway. Didn't disappoint at all, had lamb bhuna and my it was the best one ever. So full of flavour, right amount of heat and temperature wise very hot.

The food was great and delivered on time. They had my favourite cheese naan so I was a very man. Will certainly be ordering from them again!

Everything was really good from ordering, checkout, delivery, quality. The only thing which we were disappointed in was that we were missing 1/2 the poppadoms we ordered, we ordered 4 and got 2. This meant also the extra mango chutney we ordered was wasted.
