We have been here four times since it’s re vamp . The first time was a disaster and the manager refunded the whole meal asking us to try again . We had two very good meals but tonight was awful ! My steak had to go back three times and the third time it was cold ! The chicken special was not very special . The first was so overcooked it was inedible and the second was edible but not very tasty. The sautéed potatoes were new potatoes cut into quarters ! The attitude of the staff was very poor and although the steak was refunded it was not an experience I would want again so I don’t think we will be going back . And the gin had lost all its garnish for the last two times .

What a lovely meal... I booked for my birthday with my parents and son and we were made to feel so welcome. I ordered the roast pork dinner and was lucky enough to win their giant Yorkshire pudding. It was delicious! And the gravy was outstanding! Thank you sooo much Paul, Shannon and team for making our visit so lovely xx

Disappointed with the overall quality of the food, I had Sea Bass with crushed potatoes (actually just cut in half). Green beans, mangetout and peas with white wine and butter sauce. The fish was over cooked, giving it a tough texture and dry Thge whole presentation very bland, the best part the sauce. Service slow, I would not have said over busy as quite a number of empty tables when we arrive. 15 minute wait for a child’s ice cream sundae. I have not been there for a few months not a good as it use to be. In general we were all disappointed, as the meal out was a birthday celebration. The other meals were acceptable but not outstanding. Will leave it another few months before returning

After waiting for over an hour, the plate was hotter than the food. The lack of Chunky chips were greasy and most of them were solid and over cooked, the, break a tooth sort! They tried to cover the lack of chips by putting a stupid amount of lettuce to fill the plate. The chicken was just warm, which i think the temperature of the plate had heated it, and the cheese on top was transparent and looked like something you get in a microwave meal. Think the waitress realised how disappointed i was when she collected my unfinished and hardly touched plate, and gave us a money off voucher. I’m not usually the type to write reviews, but this was disgusting and disappointing.

My wife and I booked for lunch on a Thursday evening, I had steak americano my wife had gammon steak.both meals were excellent cooked to perfection decent portion really tasty. Service was excellent as usual even though it was busy,could not fault always good,highly recommend.

Yet again, another great Sunday lunch. Excellent value for money, however the desserts are almost as expensive as the child's Sunday main meal, be nice if these could be reduced in price a little. That said, food was great, service was very good, special mention to Sarah who served us. Will be back soon!!

None, service from Keira wad exemplary, and food requirements were met. I would recommend the landing light to anyone wishing for a quick and good value meal.

Would have liked to leave a review on the food but after arriving hungry and eager and left waiting 5 minutes for someone to attend was just told "we're not serving food anymore" - this was 8.32pm yet you state open until 10.00!! Got the distinct impression it was very quiet so the kitchen staff were probably clearing up and just couldn't be bothered. Not good enough.

Stayed in local Travelodge and ate here 2 nights on the trot. Food was excellent and plenty of it. The service was great and staff very very friendly. Had an issue with the bill as I’d read it wrongly and gave them to much much and the guy was honest and gave it back. Had a bit of banter on both evenings which was well received. Definitely recommend the Landing light .

It was lovely and easy! The melt in the middle pudding wasn’t great but main was lush. Quite small. The decor of the place was spectacular. Sarah was a great host.

Popped in for a “cheat” dinner. Food was hot, freshly cooked. Good selection on menu, with a separate “specials” menu. Only had 2 x mains thus visit due to our time constraints. Would come again. Has a child friendly area distanced from other diners.

4/4/24 Have been here on several occasions and have had good food and good value , with large portions. This time was completely different. Had a mixed grill asked for the steak medium... came out over done but edible. Lamb chop was burnt to a cinder and was completely inedible, as was the Pork Chop. One of the grand children had sausage and chips but she left half of it because the sausages were burnt. When I complained about the burnt bits and asked ig they had changed they chef I didn't get a real reply and there was no apology about the burnt food. Having said that the other six meals were ok.
