Fabulous staff food good great atmosphere definitely recommend this place even on a wintery blowy day Dog friendly too.

After reading lots of positive comments in the visitor book at the cottage where we were staying, we thought we'd give it a go. We weren't disappointed at all. Friendly and helpful staff, great food and service. My son knocked his drink over, and a kind member of staff cleaned it all up and replaced it for him. I didn't expect it at all. The food was very tasty, well cooked and we didn't wait too long. It's very deceiving and much bigger inside than it looks. I'd definitely recommend it to others.

Came here on a recommendation from a family member. Certainly gets full points for the location - easy parking, very close to the beach. Novel design of hut and would be great on a warm sunny day with the sides rolled up.... live music to match (who knows - will try in the summer)? Clean, tidy and well presented too with a decent menu for all times through the day..... liked the wine list too but a bit early when we visited! We settled for a coffee and rolls. Service was friendly and prompt which was what we wanted on this occasion. Tasty food, nice coffee - couldn't have asked for more. Will return.

A lovely casual venue with lots of potential . Warm and cosy with a log burner in the main restaurant . The tepee area is well insulated and casual . It’s dog friendly and a five minute walk from the beach . Advisable that only the tepee area and outdoor patio should allow dogs . Paying top prices does not warrant a slobbering yapping dog at your table . We had Scallop starters on Beetroot purée, Red apple slices, thick smoked pancetta . Very tasty but overpowered by earthy Beetroot overtones . The Beef Wellington medium rare , crisp pastry throughout with a balsamic mushroom stuffing absolutely exceptional but sadly cold which is a FAIL at £65 ! Vegetables last seasons huge new potatoes, tri colour carrots earthy and rustic , not to everyone’s taste , in desperate need of some seasoning ,butter , marjoram . The pudding Charlottes Tiramisu was a huge let down 4 shop bought sugared sponge fingers , solid and dry , light soaking on bottom of concentrated coffee a chocolate thin spread between . Couldn’t detect any Marsala wine , liqueur, Mascarpone, cream, eggs , sugar . However tons of cocoa powder , no rich shaved dark chocolate impossible to cut with a spoon . Shame as Tiramisu done correctly is a show stopper . Would I return - yes for breakfast or a coffee , or a wine in the Summer. Was it overpriced at £140 including a £35 of wine , not really ! Just needs to be orchestrated a bit better between the hard working run off their feet hosts and the kitchen people who did a lot of wandering around and better timing of hot food . Overpricing of a very poor pudding which although creative it wasn’t good .

Took my Partner here as reccomended by my sister, table was already sorted and a bottle of wine courtesy of her. We tried the sirloin steak to share and wow it was incredible, we both said it was the best steak we have had ! Huge compliments to the chef and the team for a lovely evening. We will certainly be returning in the summer to try the pizzas.

Popped in with the dog for a breakfast on our first day of our Beadnell stay. This place is perfectly located for food after a walk along Beadnell bay beach. Have visited before and was glad we went back. We both had the full English and the food was cooked well with some nice quality sausages. The black pudding was very good. Service was very good and will definitely visit again.

Cannot rate this place highly enough! We stayed in Beadnell for 4 nights and ate here for breakfast 4 mornings, dinner 1 night and had their takeaway pizza another night. The food and service throughout were excellent. I am beyond impressed with the quality and variety of food that is offered and served up. The rump steak is up there with one of the best steaks I have had. Full English breakfast is just what is needed after a walk on the beach. Fab wine and coffee too! It is exceptionally dog and child friendly. Zoe and her team of staff do a fantastic job of making you feel welcome and ensuring attentive and super fast service. Cannot rate highly enough and can’t wait to return!

Called in for first time as touring area and stayed in car park across road for the night . Really liked look of place so we googled and decided to give breakfast a try. Lovely warm welcome and they were very dog friendly. The design ( theme) of the place is great , looks amazing . We had full English and eggs Benedict. Highly recommend both . Poached eggs were spot on and nice cuts of ham . The breakfast wasn’t greasy at all , really good quality sausage and bacon . Good value for money . Would deffo return if and when we return to the area again . Would like to try dinner menu next .

Visited for brunch with friends whilst staying with them in Bamburgh. Bacon sandwiches and french toast were the order of the day and all were very good. Great service, surroundings & food - couldn’t ask for more!

We are regular visitors to the area and have visited the Landing a few times since it opened, however I am sad to say it’s going downhill, certainly style over substance now!! On this occasion we popped in for a wine and a beer post dog walk and although the outside area wasn’t busy the waitress was extremely rude and didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. We asked for a heater to be out on and without a smile said ‘can try’ after switching it on she didnt acknowledge us and just walked away! There are certainly better places to spend your money - try the Beadnell towers! The two stars is for the drinks and the view!

This is the first (and last) time we have visited this place for lunch. It is situated close to the beach in Beadnell, between the car park and a new housing estate. Unfortunately the elevation is too low to see the beach or the sea because of the dunes, it would need an upper floor for that. There is a lot of decking and seating around the building with a large tent to keep customers dry and out the wind in winter. We were a little early so we had a choice of tables inside the restaurant and ordered some coffees which were fine. So for lunch we ordered the Salmon on Focaccia and the Monkfish. It looked like our food sat under hot lamps on the pass for 10 minutes before serving. The salmon was flaked, mixed with courgettes in a marinade and sprinkled cold over a warm pizza base, I guess they had no Focaccia and hoped we would not notice and it didn't taste that nice either. The Monkfish was prepared and cooked well but coated in a spiced crumb to disguise the flavour which was not that nice. In the meantime the restaurant had filled up all the tables and most customers had brought one or two dogs with them, it was not too long before the snarling and barking started and then they all kicked off and was like eating lunch in some kennels. I don't have a problem with dogs, but I suspect the warm smoky atmosphere from the wood burner and the smell of food made the dogs restless and I would question the wisdom of allowing pets into the restaurant during a busy lunch service. On leaving we noticed a lot more customers had chosen the tented area to sit with their pets and it was much calmer albeit colder.

A great coastal walk begins with finding a lovely place for breakfast.. and The Landing is just perfect. The January chill chased away by the log burner burning bright and a lovely relaxed vibe means this is high on the list of favourite breakfast places. Their Brioche French Toast with berries and crème fraiche was delicious and the Full English went down a treat. Friendly staff, a happy playlist and contented customers.. perfect

We have owned a house in the village for many years , and have visited the landing several times over the last year or so , always in the mornings . We love the location , friendly staff and the coffee and bacon sandwiches were always spot on , but today at lunchtime we both had the same dish … sadly it was possibly the worst fish and chips we’ve had for a long long time ! It was busy when we arrived with most tables inside and in the covered outside area full , but found a table and ordered . We waited 25 mins for the food … and immediately regretted our choice . The (small) portion of haddock and chips arrived with a very sorry side salad that was soggy from the greasy fish . The batter was damp and tasteless , although hot , the fish had a bad greasy aftertaste and was certainly not pleasant ! The accompanying chips were probably 2x fried , but were overcooked, equally greasy and small . Thankfully the portion was also on the small side , and most of these were discarded and pretty much inedible. When the waitress collected our plates she asked the usual question “ was everything ok ?” I told her I thought the fish was greasy and the chips overcooked and tasteless , she advised she would inform the chef , but also commented on how popular the homemade chips were !! (Really ??!! ) I wouldn’t be rushing back to order another portion !! Overall we felt a bit disappointed and were looking forward to fish and chips in this lovely location. I think sticking to coffee, cake and a bacon sandwich might be the best decision in the future. Definitely wouldn’t recommend!!
