At just outside of the city , this is a lovely little cafe/restaurant set on the waterfront . The food was lovely and staff excellent. We stayed inside due to the weather , but this also has an extensive outside seating /dining area and a lovely deck overlooking the water. Food ranged from lite bites to main meals, all looked lovely coming out of the kitchen. Will definately visit again, as it is only a short drive from home. I would recommend booking , particularly if the weather is dry and sunny. Would recommend.

Lovely building and interior and friendly staff. Waited 45 minutes for drinks, served with sweeteners as waiting for delivery of sugar. Drinks served lukewarm. Food took a while to arrive, two breakfasts, just about cooked and just about warm! Poached eggs, solid yolks. When asked how food was, sadly said not too good. Staff offered to remove drinks from the bill as we had waited so long but on receiving the bill a drink was left on and a service charge was added. Really disappointed with the service and food.

This hotel was the best i’ve ever stayed at! We were in liverpool for the weekend for the eras tour as a surprise birthday present for my 16th. The staff went above and beyond with decorating the lobby and the room in order to surprise me, the staff were the loveliest people; especially Wendy! She made sure me, my mum and my aunty were well looked after over the whole weekend and always checked in to make sure everything was okay and we were enjoying our stay. Honestly it was the best weekend of my life and i would recommend this hotel even just for a weekend away. The room and food was lovely and the lake is beautiful to look at while you eat.

The service was outstanding! We went in for some drinks whilst the sun was shining and got served by Nadine and she honestly couldn’t have done any more for us! We didn’t know what cocktails to choose so she talked us through them all and we ended up ordering based off her recommendations! She was lovely from start to finish and really knew her menu! so thank you very much Nadine for making us so welcome! She is an asset to the team and we will definitely be back!

We visited the Lakehouse today for some breakfast. We were greeted on arrival by a really friendly manager and taken to a lovely comfy table. Our meals were cooked perfectly, they came in great time and our drinks were lovely and cold. We even took some cakes away which were also really tasty. It is so dog friendly and our dog was made to feel really welcome and received fuss from the manager and team which we really loved. ❤️ We all had a lovely experience, we will be back and would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you

Rubbish, half the order was missing and the two hot drinks looked like they’d been thrown around (no foil lids today?)

Have been a a customer or costa for many years, the Stanley Road outlet has a great team qnd is always welcoming. The only issue I have is. It's not following the general costa store policy of being dog's friendly as it's a franchise., Therefore, during the colder weather, I will not be sitting outside with my dog freezing, when we now have Pheonix coffee to go to which is very dog friendly with a free puppachino for your fury friend whilst sitting in the warm. I hope you review your dog friendly policy, otherwise great store.

Sevice at the counter was good and great cup of coffee. It was let down by no toilet paper or soap in toilet.
