First time trying here, heard good things so thought we would give it a try. The mushroom rice and lamb madras was very good so was the sides( onion bhaji and cheese naan bread) the chicken korma was very bland. The chicken tikka dupiaza was just ordinary chicken not chicken tikka and there was absolute no flavour to the curry at all very tasteless.

Went back here, don’t know if changed hands as our meal was one of the best as the las one we had from here wasn’t very good! Not sure if saw sign saying new owners. Will be back again .

Awful, there was more sugar in the chicken tikka than your average pudding! Not authentic at all! These places only exist because people don't know what authentic Indian food should taste like. You could squeeze the oil out of the onion bahjis they were so greasy and they were so tough I'm sure they were cooked yesterday. Also for any readers of you were to go to Bombay and ask for Bombay potatoes you would NOT be served what these guys churn out! And to top it off the order was incorrect!!

The food is always excellent and generously prepared. Love all the extras we seem to get. You have to try the Palak.

ALL GOOD .. PROPER TASTING I’d imagine local people who go here don’t go anywhere else . Chicken is good ..I always finish mine then eat her last chicken piece that I left in the serving tray so can say very nice korma and chicken 👍king prawn dish good the Indian must of been there a while and have original chef would recommend ✅

The app bugged out so it said the food was delivered when it wasn’t so I said my order didn’t arrive but it did and the driver was very sweet

My wife and I both had a chicken korma and it came with coconut cream not mixed in properly and we've both been throwing up about an hour after eating. AVOID

I can never fault the food from this tandoori, they are always so busy so you will have to wait for the food but I promise it be the best food you’ll get to your door!!

Very disappointed with our order. Ordered through chefonline and it said it'll be delivered in 45 minutes. An hour later, it still hadn't arrived and when I phoned them, the food wasn't even ready for delivery. It took 1.5 hours for food to arrive and then we had some of our order missing and had to make another phone call. Biryani wasn't v flavoursome, though can't fault temperature of food, it was all very hot.

Had a takeaway for 4 while visiting a friend. Order arrived bang on time and with no missing dishes. Nice portions for the main course. Samosas could have been a bit spicier but not a problem. Incredibly cheap compared to major cities. Really good value for money. Would definitely order from here again when in the area.

One of the best pubs you can find in Brighton! Actually not in the main streets of the city, but this is a really english pub. And the hamburgers?? Sluuurpy. Will come back for sure.

The pub is right next to the entrance to Preston Park station. Hidden away at the rear are a number of outdoor booths, covered and heated, ideal for Winter drinking and dining. The food menu is simple, with vegetarian and vegan options, and everything we sampled was well cooked and presented.

Good service to begin with, got about 1/2 full by the end so our bill took ages to come. It was very expensive considering it basically tasted like a heated up ready meal from Tesco... £30 for two very small 'Mains' a GLASS of wine and a soft drink. Won't be returning out recommending.

Used to be a safe bet to eat here but sadly no more. The only positive experience was the friendly waitress. Our slice of garlic bread starter turned out to be far too many little bread rolls that we had to dip into melted garlic butter. Portions of pasta for main too much. The flavours were lost and even some of the ingredients were missing from dish choice. I don't like leaving food but this sea of pasta and bread was boring.

I used to love a curry from this place but my mum had food poisoning and then I did then my other half. It’s bad as why are they still open. It’s so dangerous

Beware if you order from here as they only score 1 from the council,inspection. That is worrying as their hygiene must be really poor. I don’t know if they display their score on the door, I suspect not !

Definitely cheap and cheerful. I only order Vegetarian meals and I'm never disappointed - Brinjal Bhaji, Korma, Biriyani, Onion Bhaji... The owner is very nice and accommodating, too.

Moved to Patcham from Manchester in January and this has been our absolute go to Indian takeaway - portions are so generous, always arrives piping hot. Consitantly tasty every single time - onion bahjis are second to none - great variety. Thank you guys!!!

I unfortunately got food poisoning from Ladies Mile last night. This deeply saddens me, as I can promise you if you ordered from them a couple of years ago, you got the best Indian food across the entirety of Sussex, but their standards have dropped off a cliff and nothing tastes the same anymore. Oh, and that added joy of salmonella and being sick all night. Sad to see how far they've dropped, but I would have to strongly recommend everyone avoids ordering from here now. Also, the curry was weirdly watery this time, someone else made the same complaint a few days ago I just read, so seemingly a consistent issue, I'm assuming stagnant water from a freezer mixed with raw chicken leaked in, hence the food poisoning

Never had a problem before tonight. Eaten from here loads of times. Tonight’s dinner was vile. Watery spicy tomato sauce with lots of tomato chunks. In what was supposed to be a chicken pathia? Watery sauce ran around the plate. Also the husbands vindaloo wasn’t much better. Watery on the plate and he says my home made curry was better than tonight’s take away. No salad or sauce with onion bhaji’s. Sooooo disappointed.

Delivery took a little longer than was told. They did phone to let me know. The food was well worth the wait though. Excellent quality and decent quantity. Found a new Indian takeaway. The delivery driver was also very good and left the food on the door step due to social distancing.

3rd time we try it as it is really close and convenient but NO MORE. The chicken is practically inedible, all our 4 dishes had overcooked, dry and very hard chicken. More than half was left and chucked. The worst thing was that 2 of the 4 dishes plus a peshwari naan were overly sweet, to the point that the food was more like desert. Overall very poor food crafting; food like that should not be sold.

A Tuesday evening about 6:30 I decided to pop in just for a simple portion of chips with a portion of curry sauce and also a bottle of coke 1.5L I was met with a look of disgust and felt like I was giving the guy behind the counter unwanted extra work! So obvious was this made clear that I actually thought he was going to refuse me service, due to the long pause to write the order down on paper for the kitchen and the shaking of his head before proceeding to do so. Once that was done I was charged £8.40 for the privilege! Shocked as I was I paid and said nothing, only to be snapped at and told to come back in 10 minutes to which I replied Im happy to wait. Only one other customer in the place and me. After 25 minutes waiting mine finally arrived, I collected and left. Still shocked about the price I was still hungry and just happy I had some food, until I tasted it! Reheated chips and the curry sauce portion was absolutely disgusting. I can only describe as oily water like texture with zero taste whatsoever. I certainly won't use this place ever again and would never recommend it to anyone! I hope the owners read this and take note! 9th April 18:30 approx. This guy serving needs to change his attitude! I had to give 1 star as that's the minimum allowed but I wouldn't have even given that. AVOID.

Absolutely terrible, waited nearly three hours for our food outrageous! When it finally came one curry was missing. They just don’t care either! Avoid like the plague if you actually want to eat at a normal time!

Delivery was fast and the naan breads were large and delicious. The curry was disappointing, we ordered butter chicken but what we received was definitely not what I (or every other Indian restaurant I have been to) would consider butter chicken. The curry was extremely oily and the flavour was nothing like butter chicken.

This is a top quality takeaway and bolstered by really friendly people. The food is superb and delivery is super quick with no fuss. Look no further if you're looking for great tasting food a very varied menu, delivered hot, but not as hot as the vindaloo!
