Have just came back from hear and was not a great experience, we where a party of 6 family and a lot of the items we had picked for our main meals they had ran out of 3 out of 6 they had ran out of , also I had picked the chicken gojouns wrap was really poor, then onto pudding 5 of us where having some again only had 3 the other 2 they had run out of , think a company this size is poor customer service won't be back

Went tonight for dinner. Had a lovely server Marco who was extremely helpful and very informative of the menu. Made the whole experience wonderful for me and my friends. The food was really great as welll, the drinks and meals came in a timely manner. Absolutely no complaints about the place.

Just had the most wonderful Christmas lunch with my work family! The vibe was so friendly, and our server Ann was simply the best! The food quality was outstanding, and those portion sizes were just perfect. Feeling festive and full!

I have been going to hungry horse for years taking my parents out for a meal and always in general had a great meal I have paid in general for the meals and when I have them the vouchers from Tesco and this price was deducted from the prices set for that day always a Tuesday but tonight I tried to use the vouchers and was told that the meals were going through at the full price which ment that instead of paying £30 if I didn’t use the vouchers I was being charged £45 this makes the vouchers worthless and you have now lost 3 customers that regularly used your restaurants this is the first time that this has ever happened I don’t mind the prices in general going up that’s life but to do this with the vouchers is making them worthless

Staff very friendly, great selection of food choice and value for money. The restaurant looked festive and had a great Christmas menu on offer.

Always an alright place for lunch. The steak and ale pie is always filling and tasty.

I have been here years ago but not recently. I will be honest with my review as it was my experience. So myself and my friend had a Sunday roast. We literally ordered and within 5 minutes it came out. We ordered the cauliflower cheese as a side. I will say this I wasn't really impressed as the Sunday roast wasn't really hot it wasn't really warm and i felt the cauliflower cheese looked a bit gooey like it was stuck together and got cold but hadn't been mixed properly. Then we ordered the Apple and berry crumble says its served hot nope that wasn't neither. Then the berries tasted frozen. The apple crumble was cold and so was the custard. And the spoons they gave us were dirty we had to use the small spoons for our teas. I was kind of gutted as I was looking forward to the meal but I'm sorry I've had better tbh. I'm sorry I won't be returning.

Poor service when the place was dead? Food and drinks took ages to get delivered even when the place was quiet. Food felt dry and overcooked

I had a rump steak here today, which was very fatty / grisly? It was tough to chew and a fair bit left on the plate. Disappointed as I,m in here often. I didn't make a complaint about it, but I did walk over to a server and handed him the plate to show him and said to him he might want to show it to the chef. He never returned and carried on with his duties. I thought he might have come back with some feedback from the chef..

Cheap and cheerfull place for drink.

Terrible customer service, waited 40 minutes for food that didn’t come, then told it wasn’t in the delivery that was due, brought out 3 out of 4 meals after waiting 45 minutes to be told that the 4th wasn’t coming, was going to re-order but unwilling to have the rest of the family wait after finishing their meal for another 40 minutes for this food to “possibly” show up. Shocking really.

Not a good experience..... firstly on entering was met with girl who wanted to seat us at a table by the door which was a table for 4 with smaller table alongside (there were five of us, 3 adults and 2 kids) I asked if one of the booths were available and she said no I haven't wiped them yet, I asked if we could wait for it and after sighing said yes. We were seated and went to the bar to order.... the general manager behind the bar was lovely and we ordered our meal £80 for starters and mains. Starters came out in 20 mins and were fine and value for money..... long wait for the mains 1 and a half hours since we entered the restaurant and I had to enquire how much longer, another 10 mins and they arrived.... medium steak which couldn't even be cut let alone chewed, cheese burger was burned on the bottom and was luke warm, the jack burger was cold, the chicken Balmoral was a dry breast of chicken with burnt haggis on top and the child's wrap kit came out without the chicken. We left our meals as we couldn't eat them.... the general manager was very apologetic and gave us a £30 gift card for next time. Needless to say we won't be back.... such a shame because the restaurant looked lovely.

Staff and friendly and the place has great atmosphere, the kittoch is the perfect place to go for drinks and to watch football

Went for Sunday lunch you encourage to order by bar code which we did then was told to fetch own cutlery as we ordered on line beef dinner wasn't the best very dry ordered 2 desert had to go to the bar and ask after waiting 20 mins desert arrived ice cream like a block of ice they then cleared the tale after main course I'm not the one to moan staff need a kick up the arse it was very quiet in there

Quiz nights and play your cards right is great fun. Bob the quiz master is a joy.

Used £22 worth of Tesco vouchers only to be told would only get £14 off food bill. What a con. Have had bad experience in this pub a couple of years ago, but had recently started to use again. After our experience today will definitely not be back. It is no wonder this place has been empty on our last few visits when they treat people like that. What made the visit even worse was my meal wasn't properly cooked, which isn't very safe when it was chicken, and by the time my meal was sorted everyone else had finished theirs. No atmosphere to the place, poor food and a waste of my Clubcard points.

Went for lunch today, the place looked lovely and welcoming, had never been before. The food was very disappointing. The tandoori sizzler wasn’t sizzling and the chicken tasted awful. The jerk chicken was a grey chicken leg with dry jerk seasoning dropped on it. Very disappointing, it all tasted re-heated and dry. Service was ok but could do with a smile here and there ;/

Effectively our local, great memories so always loyal to this place. Looking tired (out & in now sadly) and some of the main course food options are woeful (chicken burger was plain in roll, chips were unseasoned- poor) ...tho Nachos were good. A bit odd. Staff always great and the atmosphere always calm & family friendly. Greene King need to get there finger out Re it's appearance and quality control. Hope that happens soon before a possible demise ...

We had a wonderful family lunch with some great vegan options. The food was tasty and well-prepared. Garry, our server, was friendly and made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

We took the grandchildren for lunch, we had a steak meal, a fish haddock meal and 2 childrens meals, a Coke, a small white wine and 2 yazoos all for £34. Not only is it good value, the was food was also very good. The rump steak was cooked as asked and the haddock was probably one of the tastiest I have had. The service from Rowan and the team was excellent. The restaurant has a lovely ambience is very clean and tidy.

Normally in for a coffee and a snack - the menu has a great choice and is reasonably priced. Service is always great, welcomed with a smile every time - all the staff are lovely.

Popped in for lunch after soft play with my two sons aged 5.5 and 1.5. Dad flying solo. Excellent deals advertised and struggled to decide what was the best for us. My eldest wanted curry but unfortunately isn’t on kids menu. So we went for the feed the family for £15 deal. Two adult mains and two kids meals. So we got fish and chips, curry and then two kids chicken nuggets. Fish was as expected in a bar and thoroughly enjoyed. Curry again as expected , not homemade but can’t expect it for the price and didn’t expect it. Kids nuggets were a big portion. And both seemed to really enjoy. Eldest used the curry as a dipper and loved the rice. I obviously polished off everything that was left. The bar was quiet but we came at around 11.45 so very expected. The staff were very attentive and nice interaction with my children. Free soft toy as we got the family bundle so that kept them entertained for 2 mins ha ha Looking over the menu there is so much I would choose. Obviously the deal limits your selections but there is literally a deal on every day including a drink. If I stayed closer I would be here a lot more often. First visit but will defo pop back in when back in EK

Go every week for the fantastic pub quiz! It’s free to play and the host is outstanding! Music in between is amazing very mixed.

Nice pub, just by Morrisons, and the sun was out, so a crafty stop off for a drink and snacks. Nicely set up inside and outside, the areas are very obvious, and this pub has couples sitting, family sitting, adults only sports and pool area ( the table version not the swim wear pool) There's lots of outside seating and a children's activity area with picnic tables. Wheelchair accessible and pole position parking for disability vehicles with the ramps fitted. Even though there's Sky Sports, I noticed no obvious team associations, just people of all ages and demographics. It's just a nice all-round pub/ resting. I used the Greene King app for ordering, and I doubt I could have been served quicker by ordering from the bar counter.

Was in early at 510 instead of 530 and waited till 615 for food which to be honest should not have bothered as wasn't good at all as dads so called chicken was tuff as old boots and because of this he vomited in their toilet there and my dish sloppy joe sandwich was edible till wife saw mushrooms in it at end and since I got in house been vomiting also as i am elergic to mushrooms so should have ingredients warning of some sort on menu and just to end this wife had southern comfort texas toast and she has been sick also so can say they can make you all ill within minutes of eating here

Went in with family at 5.10 instead of 5.30 and never got meals till 6.15 even though they said a delay and can say wasn't even worth the money as dad started to choke on what was supposed to be chicken and had to vomit in toilet and I had sloppy joe sandwich which was not nice at all as found it had mushrooms as wife looked at end and saw mushrooms in it which I cannot eat and just got in house and am still vomiting even now so as far am I concerned menu should have ingredients on it so means total rubbish tonight and wait unacceptable

Love it here, the burgers are fantastic - well seasoned and not dried out at all! Chips are always crispy and well seasoned. Best of all on a Friday its buy one burger get one free!!! Staff are very friendly and professional. We got an American style burger with a hot dog on top, would have loved dessert but we were too stuffed to manage one lol Has sn outdoor play area along with seating. The car park is large and no problem to find space. Highly reccomend!

Pre booked a table for 16 people a few days in advance, to be honest it was not great! Foods gone really down hill and the portion sizes are tiny, nobody in my group was particularly happy with there food, I had about 10 fries, 3 onion rings on my sizzle plate and a dried up bit of chicken and onion which was basically inedible, I complained about the fries and was given more, made do with the rest. 3 people in my group had the pie which none of them could finish as the pie crust was solid, and the rest just complained about how small the portion sizes where. We also ordered around the same time on the apps and on the till and all the food came at different times means none of us ate together, think it was around 20 mins between the first and last people receiving food. We ordered dessert and choices were slim, lots not available. The candy mania which we bought 2 off lacked candy, no cookie dough pieces which was advertised, mostly just ice cream! Just really disappointed, don't think we will return this time as it's been quite a few bad meals now, and to top.it off one of our group has been up sick all night!

Had burger, which was very tasty but unfortunately on the cold side. Chips and onion rings were both stone cold. Unfortunately arrived just as the quiz started and you couldn't carry on with your conversation. Staff were clumsy at best and inattentive. Ordered pudding and Staff turned up 20min later and asked if we wanted it now, they had already cleared the plates about ½an hour earlier.

Wasn’t impressed was there at half four didn’t have the Mexican pasta, didn’t have any fruit shoots or capri suns for kids menu was ordering from kids menu thought I wa ordering the kids meal deal but wasn’t asked if that was what I wanted and when i went to order the ice cream they told me i hadn’t ordered the meal deal so ordered two vanilla ice cream’s and the got the order wrong and had to wait ages when it eventually came they had been out into hot dishes obviously just out the dish washer so ice cream was melting beginning the kids could eat it, sorry but I’m afraid it’s not acceptable and certainly wouldn’t recommend to anyone else

Overall nice place with a large garden , few vegan options. But at some point a jug of liquid was brought to us so we thought its the water going with our meal. Then a waiter showed up after some time saying that its a cocktail that ended up on our table by mistake and we have to pay for it 😆 he left it on our table and left, can you believe it? We haven’t touched it so you can keep it 🤯 also waiting staff doesnt know the layout of the tables and takes them ages to find the one they want. 11th May afternoon

Nice local pud / eatery. Good offers . Play area for young ones. I would suggest a separate bar area .. I think it would improve the atmosphere.

Used to come here often, but came in tonight and the service was disgraceful, food was awful, they sat me and my partner across from a table that had food all over it and under it plates all over it, food took ages to come out. Won’t be back

Tried to get food at 8.10pm to be told kitchen is closed. Advertised time for kitchen to close is 9pm. This is disappointing.

This was a much improved visit than previously, the staff were brilliant both welcoming and professional. We came in for breakfast and the food was excellent. So much choice and so nice to have such a wide variety of food. Will definitely be coming back, well done Kittoch really great experience.

Came to take advantage of the Monday Steak deal, food was good, restaurant was quite busy for a weekday. Katie was outstanding and made sure we had everything we needed. A good evening, will return!

For starters, the meal took about 40 minutes for the meals to turn up at the table. one was luke warm, the other the chicken was full of fat rather than chicken at one end of the baguette, we're offered another meal for the cool meal or money back ordered another / different meal. It came super fast , and some of that was disgusting gristle inside the chicken strip (boak). I feel a refund should have been given as the full thing wasn't good. I won't be back to the Kittoch **avoid** I have also tried to email to the reply from the company and my email pailed to send because the email address isn't correct

Food was cold and replaced by manager next meal was extremely greasy real poor quality, drinks were almost flat real disappointed have emailed greene king awaiting a response from them will not be returning waste of hard earned cash. Told they were short staffed no excuse for cold food.

The chicken we had was off all the family had food poisoning that includes my nieces who are 4 and 1. When we spoke to staff they were not interested
