Harvester in South Lanarkshire

Visited the Harvester with my family. The server Sarah was fantastic. She was very attentive to our needs as we have an elderly lady with us and accommodated her needs perfectly. Will happily return.

Came here on Sunday morning for breakfast with my son and Grandchild.. Sarah greeted us, got us relaxed, and from there, she was making sure we were happy and if we needed anything , smiles, and even played with my grandchild.. she was absolutely friendly , helpful and professional.. the food breakfast was cooked to perfection clean hot and big .. Thank you, Sarah, for making our start to a Sunday a perfect one ..

Was in one day last weekend , service was extremely bad, sat for ages couldn’t get a drink because nobody came near the table, 2 young girls serving half of the restaraunt , put me off coming back which is a shame because the food was good shame about the terrible slow service

Nice visit , service was fab , 4 stars for food as Baked Potato was hard. Would return no problem.

We had breakfast here following our stay at Premier Inn. The food was excellent; great value for money, well presented and probably the best hash browns we have had in a breakfast! (It’s the small things 😊). And the service was first class; Danni was so welcoming and friendly and very efficient. Fiona was also very good. This is the 3rd Premier Inn we have stayed at in EK and by far this breakfast experience has been far superior to the other two experiences. Well done to all who create this guest experience. Thank you!

Had my little girls 2nd birthday party in fuzzy Ed’s where she always loves going , would highly recommend if you have toddlers as it’s such a good size for them to go in and play and be a little more independent, staff are always amazing anyway but they were so helpful with her party especially the girls Sophie and mackenzie who works there 10/10 for customer service made it less stressful for me helping with cake for the kids and party bags so thank you’s both so much she had the best day.

We attended the Harvester in East Kilbride yesterday and I couldn't have been more impressed. Our server Danielle would the most kind hearted soul. Nothing was a bother and the service was 5 🌟. Danielle took the time to chat to us as we had just been to view our wedding venue up the road and offered some lovely advice for the big day. We will definitely be coming back anytime we are visiting our venue.

burger arrived cold, smallest portion of chips ever seen, delivery note stated Nacho cheese sauce only on the nachos, what arrived was a glued together box of nachos with melted cheddar cheese and all other topping on top.....cheddar cheese is not Nacho cheese

Got a gift card at Christmas, checked out where I could use it, picked this place. Wasn’t expecting anything special, been past this place a thousand times but not been in. Warm welcome at the door, shown to our seat and given time to check the menu, plenty of choice, you know that bit where you see a picture of a meal and it comes and looks nothing like it? Well this time it did, I got the screens and it was spot on. Place is set up in areas, can eat anywhere but to the right is the bar area with TV’s showing football, to the left is the seated meal area, downstairs is the kids soft play. Staff were lovely and smiling. Service was quite quick and quick to clear up. Will return for another meal soon and take the grand kids and get their take on the place. Visit today 01/02/25 so if you were on shift, thank you.

Salad was a bit mental with pineapple and beetroot - burger was average as were chips need a bit of love a nice burger sauce / toast the bun few gherkins etc - bit bland guys.

I got the fish and chips and the fish was cold. Took some time to get it.

Came here for Christmas dinner on Christmas Day. Had to pre-order/pay for food a while before the day, fairly expensive for christmas dinner here. Lovely festive atmosphere, service was great too. Christmas dinner was yummy except the veg was all hard and not cooked for long enough. But the starter and desert were very good.

Family lunch and would return. Waitress went above and beyond to cater for my dietary needs. Food was nice. Staff were helpful. Would recommend

We enjoyed a tasty Christmas Dinner from the festive menu. Great value for money. Turkey was tender and delicious.

Family Birthday meal with 17 people and the service was fantastic. Food all came out at the same time and piping hot and tasty. Lee was our server and was never far away always checking our drinks were full. Thank you for a great experience we will be back.

Nice pub with good food, we always come here when visiting family. A varied menu that sometimes changes a little bit but you cant go wrong with the hamburgers and steaks. I have eaten here now 3 or 4 times and the quality of the food is always consistent. The staff is always very friendly and the pub is also visited by the friendly locals. Always good times. Side note; the pub/restaurant is located next to a Premiere Inn.

Breakfast with Santa is fantastic, we come every year and thoroughly enjoy it. Food is always great All the staff are lovely and friendly and nothing is too much bother. The girl on the door was so welcoming

We stayed in premier inn opposite this harvester on 13 and 14th November 24. What a pleasure to use this gorgeously decorated and plush harvester. It was very quiet due to time of year but still felt extremely welcomed. All the staff were amazing 🤩 they were genuinely cheerful and friendly and made you feel so special. Nothing was too much trouble . Im from Wales and have been to many harvesters but this was by far my best experience. So much so I felt tipping was absolutely deserving. The Xmas decorations were beautiful and the food great too. Brekkie was fab. Well done guys 👏 and thanks for a great and happy experience.

We use harvester soft play on the regular bases as childminders, staff are very welcoming and friendly especially Fiona she always makes an extra effort to chat to us and the children. The facilities are ideal for 4 years and under as that’s the children we have, and they have a great time. The adults enjoy a lovely coffee and also enjoyed a breakfast roll, toast and fruit plates for the children which were all delicious. Now going to bring our own family for a meal due to this. Highly recommend

Service was excellent, couldn't fault it. Served quickly and food arrived a lot quicker than expected. The chips were ok as was the salad. The scampi was cooked well. The chicken although tasting okay was a bit dry. Overall the price is a little expensive for the quality of the food.

Arrived 5 minutes before the cut off point for breakfast / lunch (12.00) hoping to get a late breakfast and staff were happy to oblige. We were served by Dani who was the friendliest member of staff we have encountered in a long time. All too often waiting staff are a bit surly and act as if they are doing you a favour by serving you. Dani's attitude was like a breath of fresh air. Keep up the good work 👏. Oh and the breakfast was top notch too.

The children's burger was cold and did not have any lettuce or tomato as requested it was a burger in a dry bun, fish had to be heated in the microwave before eating. Also, no salads included in the order.

So disappointed - food was overcooked and cold when it arrived - side salad was good

Service was terrible over an hour just to have our starters and they got one of them wrong Ultimate mixed grill was burnt to a cinder and was brought out 1o minutes before the other mains arrived At 8 o'clock the restaurant was empty but still the service was extremely poor

Regularly visit harvester and as ever fantastic service from Laura, always goes above and beyond for us.

We have been very well looked after by Laura on multiple occasions, we are quite a picky lot and nothing is ever a problem.

The toilets in children's area were dirty. A customer was drinking alcohol and swearing, also set off fire alarm when went out for cigarette and no management or staff said anything. Food poor.

Went for a family breakfast with visiting family who were staying. There was 14 of us so big table! Classic breakfast menu, also catered well for vegetarians. Breakfast was great! Service was awesome. Wish I could remember our servers name because she was fabulous, in the ball and very friendly. Atmosphere was pretty standard chain restaurant dull at breakfast time. Pretty quiet. We'll definitely return for breakfast next time the family visit

The delivery time was pushed out 3 times so the food was delivered 25 mins after the first given delivery time. Most of the food was well overcooked- the halloumi snapped in half it was so burnt. Not the usual decent quality- very disappointed.

Outstanding performance from young Sophie tonight she took the banter well ...caught me on the edge of a couple of jokes between the table but she had a laugh. Great to see somebar staff can still enjoy themself at work and have a right good giggle ... honestly I'm there all the time n that was very very enjoyable Cheers

Did ask for no jalapeños but that's not reading ticket properly. I picked them put. no big issue. Gougons I'd have like maybe one ot two more. Bbq sauce with them was delicious. Overall I enjoyed it.

I visited Harvester Restaurant East Kilbride on the evening of Tuesday 6th August 2024. The food and the service were fine. The rump steak was exceptionally high-quality meat. The two waitresses wearing grey tops were very attentive and very personable, despite evidently being 'rushed off their feet'. The atmosphere of constant 'hurry' gave me the very strong impression that the restaurant was understaffed that evening. Two minuses, however. I often eat at Harvester restaurants, and last night was the first time in my experience that a Harvester Restaurant has been unable to supply mustard. Also, no bread was available, which suggests a major management failing.

Both me and my husband had ordered a breakfast it came out and it was cooked beautiful. The service we got was excellent her name was Laura she made us fell welcome so I would like to thank Laura and the staff for a wonderful breakfast if anyone is looking for someone to go I recommend this restaurant

The staff presented my son's birthday cake to him and sang happy birthday with us. It made his birthday so much more special as we don't have a big family. I can't thank them enough for making it a special day for us.

On first entry to this harvest I was hit with a stale smell of dampness mixed with dirt. Not a smell you want to walk into just before you are about to eat. We got served fairly quick. And got our glasses for our refill drink and our bowls for our salad. Walking up to the salad bar I was put of as soon as I looked at the food. It was dried our pasta and beans with very limited plan salad. I did not take anything from the salad bar, but my wife did and in fairness she said it was fresh salad. I orderd the combo which is quarter of chicken and pork rids and chips. My wife ordered a vegetarian burger. Our food came and I looked good, but that was the only good thing about it. My chicken and ribs were so dry, that I had to use my drink to wash the food down. The chips had a sage and onion seasoning on them which was so salty that I had to scrape it off in order to eat them. My wife's burger also looked good, but had no flavour and she did not enjoy it. This left us both really disappointed. I had not been to a harvester for a good few years, I always had good food anytime I did go. So this is why we decided to go back. But I can say without a doubt that I will never go back to any harvester for anything as the food is up there with some of the worst I have ever had.

Very friendly staff and good quality food

My barbecue chicken was like rubber, outside dry, inside not properly cooked. Buns were stale at the salad bar, probably at least a day old. As soon as we finished dinner waitresses kept coming to the table if we want something. When we said no for a few times, then finally one came asking if we 'want' the bill. We had bottomless drinks though and were having a good chat. They literary pressurised us to leave, even though the restaurant was quite empty. Very rude. Disappointing after other Harvester experiences from different locations.
