What can I say?? Fantastic food, reasonably priced and great service. This establishment has recently changed hands so we thought we would give the new owners a try. Glad we did, will definitely return.

We go here every week and my husband loves the coffe at the cafe. However the toilets are not very good. They are fairly clean but anything metal is rusty and they are very cold in winter.

We called in here to look at the plants in the adjoining garden centre and decided to have some lunch. We chose quiche and salad and a scotch egg and sat outside on a picnic bench in the sun. Pleasant staff brought our food out quickly considering how busy they were. Tasty food, well presented. I went back in afterwards to order a slice of raspberry and lemon cake - delicious - and a flat white. We look forward to returning when we’re next in Brockenhurst.

Had a great breakfast in this very pleasant cafe attached to the garden centre. The best bacon I’ve ever had which you can purchase from the on-site farm shop. The young lady who served us was lovely and very helpful. Will definitely return

I have been here twice now and we sit outside as the windows are taped up in the cafe. There is a pandemic going on and this is irresponsible, but the waitress told us it was management's decision to tape up the windows. We had a bowl of warming cumin and squash soup which was delicious with sourdough bread.

This is a real gem. It had a great menu, particularly for brunch. There are lots of outside seating options around the garden centre. It was a wonderful spot, feeling Covid secure. Sadly the farm shop was disappointing.

My family visited today, we wanted a quick lunch prior to grandad flying back to Portugal. Initially it appeared busy but a table became free and we went and sat at it. Eventually we cleared the table ourself as no staff seemed to be about. Something I did notice was that on two of the uncleared tables there was a lot of un-eaten food. Particularly doorstep sandwiches which looked untouched. I was immediately put off having anything with bread, because clearly it was bread overload. We found menus lying on used tables and I soon noticed that prices were not cheap. A burger on this menu was £14! We needed a high chair for our son and found one at a nearby table, the occupants of that table told us they did not require it. We assumed these people had reserved the table and did not require the high chair. Minutes after strapping our son in a member of staff came to the table and said "That high chair has been reserved, was that not clear from the pot plant in it and the sign on the table saying that it's reserved" Obviously we had made a mistake by using the high chair but this member of staff was incredibly rude and condescending. I took my son out and returned the high chair, the people at the table had heard and joked about me being told off by the staff member. This was the first interaction with staff and it was enough to make us decide that this tea room did not want our money and I certainly didn't want to stay there any longer. As locals its a shame this visit was bad as we will not return.

Like other reviewers, driven past loads of time when visiting New Forest - looks great from the road & always busy. Suggest you keep driving & don’t make the effort to visit. Menu looks apertising but the service is appalling! 25 minutes before order taken plus another 20 minutes before drinks served +15 minutes for food to come out - overpriced & not worth waiting for! £9 for kids fish fingers & chips, £12.50 for ploughman’s & £13.50 for liver & bacon (£2 for a can of coke & £3 for a bottle of apple juice). We had to go to the counter to pay otherwise we would still be there now!! This is the first time I’ve been so negative about a restaurant - they had plenty of staff but just not focused on their customers! More interested in putting out & arranging cakes!! We won’t be returning!!

We stopped off mid morning for coffee and light snack only to find they weren’t serving food between 11.30-12. Thought the Covid precautions were not really being applied. Hand sanitiser almost run out. Little information about how to order. No entry and exit one way at entrance to building and no real attempt to apply social distancing. Staff not very interested. We won’t bother again. There are better places than this locally

Called in for tea and cake in the lovely outdoor seating area. Ordered two victoria sponges and two teas. The tea was fine, but the victoria sponges were awful - small, round 'sponges' with a thick, sickly layer of buttercream between them and on top. I left most of mine as the aforementioned 'sponge' was thin, hard and unpleasant. Chairs were uncomfortable, too.

Drove past and thought it looked really nice. Farm shop/vineyard/tea rooms. However sadly the tea rooms were very disappointing. 2 glasses of tasteless wine and 2 slices of very average cake later and we departed very quickly.

I ordered a salt beef sandwich, I could not belief the thickness of the bread. Too thick to bite into without taking one slice off. There wasn't much filling and the bread was stale on a good half inch round the edge of the bread. Complete waste of £8. The service was also very slow. I spoke to a friend who had visited the kitchen a week before and they had exactly the same experience with the sandwich. My friend had a salad which they enjoyed

Popped in last Friday lunchtime for a snack. A bit out our or way, and our last visit was 20 yrs ago! We had a dog with us, so sat outside in the covered area. Everything very clean, and the BLT Panini's were made with fresh ingredients, and very tasty. Outside , so tea was in a cardboard cup, but decent nevertheless. Could not leave without having an Ice Cream, so had a large cone with 4 scoops of different flavoured ice cream,(For the reviewer who complained it is watery, it is gelato, kind of halfway between ice cream and sorbet). Very good indeed, well prepared fresh food, and great value. Staff were helpful, and would certainly make a detour to visit again

Walked for an hour and half to get here and then the same back, only to find the pub was closed. Maybe it would be a good idea to update your website to let people know that you are closed for refurbishment?
