Disappointed by the manager. He was rude and does not know how to treat customers. Used to go there a lot but the atmosphere isn't what it used to be. There are much friendly places in Shifnal to have a drink.

Have been in before for drinks and always found the staff and locals real friendly. Fab range of drinks for the real ale drinker and always something a little different to try. This time we were also there for one of the street food nights. Amazing food. The place was rammed but received the usual friendly welcome and service from all the staff. Look forward to the next one and would highly recommend to anyone.

Wonderful micropub with a fantastic atmosphere. Staff are friendly and attentive, and the locals are lovely! Always a great selection of ales on draught as well as in their craft beer fridge. Everyone I bring here absolutely loves it!

Service has alot to be desired. Sam Grainger the manager is rude and abbrassive and lacks compassion and empathy. He has let his job title get to his head and thinks too much of himself. He doesn't understand hospitality or has the self awareness to know when to speak to patrons in private and treats the pub as though it's his house. His ego and informal attitude is getting in the way of customer service. The man is pathetic and let's the business down. He's such a drama queen it's unreal.

Went in last night, great range of beers including the mighty Enville Blizzard at 6.7% on cask. The place was busy with standing room only but the staff were in top of it all, wait times were minimal and everyone served with a smile. Make the effort to jump off the train at Shifnal and pop in for a fine well kept brew.

The barman gave it the biggin about the beer and how good it was and it certainly did not disappoint! Absolutely cracking beer, great craic and service, very much recommend it!

A bar person with attitude . Apparently it’s up to the bar person how much mixer you get in your drink! I personally like to pour my own tonic water into my gin that I have paid for but was told I had attitude when the whole bottle of tonic was poured inappropriately single gin and I questioned it !! Bar staff definitely need training here having worked in the hospitality sector myself

Such a cute Micropub! Sam, the landlord, arranged a retirement ‘do’ for me in the upstairs function room, with drinks, a platter of pork pie/sausage rolls/chutney and a generous cheeseboard, which everyone enjoyed. The feedback from my guests was entirely positive!

Excellent beers and great atmosphere. This is a small venue serving a great selection of ales. There isn’t a huge amount of seating but this creates a really nice friendly feel. We dropped in here for the first time on a Friday night, loved it, and stayed for the rest of the night. Definitely on our radar now. Friendly staff too. All good.

We had lunch at the Station Inn today and I said to mum that I had to leave a review. I see many other positive reviews here too! Our meals were delicious; the chicken and leek pie my mum chose was packed with flavour, had great pastry and was generously filled. Probably the best pie she's tasted, ever. My little boy had a kids burger which was super tasty (cheese added, no problem) and served in a fluffy bap - perfect, he scoffed it down. The service was lovely, we were well looked after from start to finish, thank you! Even though it was a Tuesday lunchtime, it was busy, with a friendly atmosphere. We are looking forward to revisiting soon.

Had a Sunday lunch here whilst on holiday, 5 of us including 3 very hungry children and a dog. Phoned ahead and reserved a table. Food was excellent, service very good and helpful. Chef catered for veggie kids with a veggie sausage roast, and thoughtfully sent out extra veggie gravy for us. The roast potatoes were amazing. Puddings all round were great. Great stuff, would definitely visit again.

This is a truly lovely place with a nice atmosphere. I asked them to host a wake, and the owners were incredible- unbelievably helpful, from adapting the menu to providing a television, right down to returning lost property. Food was brilliant too, and the prices good. Can’t recommend enough.
