What a super welcome we had at The Kings Arms ,Myself and wife thought we give it a try and by god it was good,Exceptional food by Chris the chef ,A super warm welcome from Chris the barman ,Also Ian the boss man,we will 100% will be returning as this pub is a little Gem ,Paul and Julia Swansea xx

Passing the area and parked in Gordano Servies. Short walk to the pub and we’ll worth a visit! Food was absolutely delicious. Staff were very friendly and a great atmosphere with England playing! Will definitely be returning!

Just popped in for lunch on the way down to Cornwall and it was absolutely lovely! A good half pint, massive portions of lovely scampi and a mediterranean pie, and such a nice landlady behind the bar who was all cheery smiles and very attentive. Thank you! Why stop at Gordano services when you can drive one more mile and get a proper lunch?!

After being let down by another place nearby the night before our family party of 10 met for our annual family christmas meal and present swap as we are from Birmingham and Exmouth Devon. Ian and the staff were brilliant and we are so grateful you could fit us in last minute. They served up great hot delicious food that all enjoyed. It was a lovely atmosphere and the locals were friendly too. We enjoyed it so much we are returning next year. I would thoroughly recommend The Kings Arms for food and drinks and sorry we are missing the singing gentlemen on the 15th. Great place great food and great hosts thankyou.

In recent months I've stopped here for refreshments after a dog walk. Quality of breakfasts being served to the boys looks superb, Presentation excellent. Very popular at 11:00am or thereabouts. So far tried homemade breadpudding / mug of tea and a bacon sandwitch and cuppa. All were just like you'd make and want at home. Top notch stop-off and as good as any cafe for quality, qiantity and price. Makes dog walking all the more worthwhile. The dog isnt mine but we have defo been missing out until now. Compliments to the cook\cooks. Only thing missing is a quality dark real ale or two - Exmoor Stag, Abbotts etc.

Friendly welcome. Always a good pint of real ale.

Went there for a Sunday lunch, we was starving as we had broken down and was waiting for recovery at the m5 services just around the corner, got at the pub at 12pm, landlord said " we are taking orders after 1230pm" , so we decided to wait and have a few beers, my partner went to the bar at 130pm to be told there's no food left, while we sat there food was coming out of the kitchen at 2pm, 230pm, 3pm, even at 330pm, at this point we knew we wasn't welcome because we wasn't local and had a Yorkshire accent, personally it was like American wear wolf in London, if your local the landlord will kiss your a--, if your from out of town you get put in the stocks and rotten fruit thrown at you.

We celebrated Father’s Day here; eight of us had the most delicious Sunday roasts. Meat was beautifully cooked and the veggies were crisp and flavourful. Totally recommend!

What a brilliant value for money place to eat this is Last visited about twenty years ago for a cider event We decided to meet some friends and have a meal at this out of the way pub just far enough off the M5 to be away from the traffic and noise Food was normal fare but top class home cooking Great steak and value for money Home made lasagna was brilliant Ham eggs and chips top class along with a vegetarian Mediterranean tart all very nicely cooked and served hot Wine cider and beer all perfect and excellent coffee served after lunch cannot fault anything thank you all very much we will be back with friends

Went here with a group of others for a post run meal. The pub were very accommodating and the food was lovely. I had the vegetable tart which was delicious and the portions generous

Popped in for our usual breakfast and was totally disappointed ☹️. Pasty / pale sausages, heated up bacon, tiny portion of beans and tin tomatoes and warm bread! On the other hand the pub and staff are friendly and welcoming

Lots of long faces, almost feels that some of the staff really dislike people enjoying themselves. Customers in all shapes and forms are the reason for the pubs trade.

We stopped here for food whilst on an overnight stay before a flight out of Bristol, and it was superb. The staff were very friendly, and the food was absolutely spot on. The kids loved their food, which is a huge compliment when they can be fussy eaters. If we're ever in the area again, we'd have no hesitation of coming back in for more food and drinks

Popped in on the off chance as passing to see if still doing food, received warm welcome and we're happy to check with kitchen to see if any roast dinners left, there were and they were very tasty, good portions and good price. Bonus they served our favourite cider. Four happy well fed passerbys, definitely worth a visit and we most definitely will pop in again.

Have been going to the kings arms as a family since i was a little girl & i now take my young children there frequently! Fantastic local pub, always welcoming! Great daily food menu, breakfasts & roasts a personal favourite of ours! in all the years we have eaten in the arms we have never had a bad meal! Live sports is always a brilliant atmosphere and regular weekend entertainment is not to be missed ,,,, highly recommend whether your after a tasty meal or a Saturday night on the tiles The Kings arms really do cater for all!

We have visited this pub several times. It is our go to place even though we live in Portishead. I would describe this pub as down to earth, friendly, and great value for money. Been meaning to feedback before now but found a space, and here we are.

This evening I accidentally got on totally the wrong bus. I thought I was going towards Weston! Anyway, when I realised my mistake, I got off and walked to the Kings Arms for help. It was 11.30pm. These lovely people arranged me an uber and couldn't have been kinder. Thank you so much!

What a friendly lovely pub. Popped in after a dog walk on Sunday for lunch with our baby. We had a nice roast dinner, all home cooked. The people were super friendly and accommodating getting a high chair for our baby. The food was perfect, thank you!

Family Sunday lunch. Friendly atmosphere. Dog friendly as My sister wanted to take her dog..friendly staff too. All 3 of us had the Sunday lunch with 2 of us having beef and pork with Yorkshire pudding. and 1 chicken and pork with pigs in blankets and stuffing..all came with roast potato's. Cauliflower cheese. Broccoli. Red cabbage. Carrots. Swede. And tasty gravy. Food wS absolutely beautiful. Cost £11 per head and worth every penny..will definitely be back when next visit to Pill. Try something else from their menu.

Friendly village pub with a good atmosphere, village owner who has reasonable prices. Good outside spaces for non smokers and smokers. Attentive bar team. Nice

They used to do really good breakfast. Not anymore after returning yesterday the food is really poor quality I was really disappointed at this as I took a friend telling him how good the breakfast is & yesterday got terrible breakfast sausage undercooked Bargain basement ingredients wasted £22 should of gone to weather-spoons or mc Donald’s would of been better. Never coming here again for breakfast. Avoid as now trying to trade if the repatriation don’t know why it has gone rubbish.

I always feel a bit guilty giving a place a less than perfect score, particularly in these (nearly) post pandemic times and they are trying to get back on their feet, but we were a little disappointed. We only went in for a beer, we didn't eat. The service was quite good, we sat outside and were served reasonably quickly. We wanted a hand pull ale but only one was on offer 'Atlantic'. It was an OK pint, slightly cloudy, vague taste to it but not specifically 'off' so we didn't send it back. We drank it, but can't say it was a great experience and neither of us wanted a second. It was an OK experience and wouldn't rush back

Local country / village pub, rough and ready but clean spacious and tidy. Really nice vegan burger and chips or falafel burger with halloumi. Just 2 mins off the Gordano services M5 instead of going to the services.

Good range of ales, lagers and ciders. Plus all the live sports.

This was the second time that we have met here for Sunday lunch. Service again was excellent from getting drinks to ordering and serving of the meals. There was choice of three roasts and a vegetarian option. The beef was very tasty and the vegetables well cooked. between us we had all the roast meats between us and all commented that the meat was well cooked and tasty. We all saved space for deserts and the spotted dick was very light and tasty and came with more than enough custard.. Will definitely return for another get together.

Group of 4 went for a quick lunch. Ordered 2 burgers a jacket and a 1 other meal Food took over 40 mins to arrive - so long in fact we didn't have time to eat it. No attempts by woman behind the bar to explain there would be a long wait / keep updated. Quality of the food was far below what you would expect for the prices.

The staff are always polite and friendly. The food is delicious. A must place to visit. And they let dogs in which seems to be rare nowadays. Dont pass by.

Was up in the area for work with a few lads and we walked to the the kings arms from the Gordano services for a few drinks and dinner, what a great decision it was for us to do this! The food was absolutely incredible! The steaks were all cooked perfectly and the burgers we had were amazing! If I’m ever in the area again I would definitely go back.

Booked a table for 10 people a family get together. I booked one week in advance, my booking was taken and all seemed well. The day before at 4 o'clock in the afternoon ( an hour before I was due to leave for a nightshift) the pub phoned to say they don't do food on Mondays. Why did it take a week to realise this.Luckily the Anchor In Ham Green were able to accommodate us as very short notice.Very disappointed and very poor customer service.
