Another cracking Wetherspoon’s. No matter which one you visit the service and quality never changes. I popped in here for a breakfast and as always it was good quality served quickly.

Wetherspoons Bath. Great selection of ales. Good service. Well priced snacks and meals. The meal+drink combos are an incredible price.

The best Wetherspoons in Bath at the moment. The All Day Brunch is £4 cheaper in the Silk Mercer in Devizes and the Albany Palace in Trowbridge

Only had a small drink but impressed with the interior furnishings.

Average Spoons, but the toilets were simply at the back of the pub instead of being 3 miles and 80 flights of stairs away from your table. That was nice. Great food and service so no complaints. Cheap and clean.

Im a fully disabled war veteran and i was asked to leave because i have an assistance dog, despite the fact that my impeccably trained lab had her blue assistance dog harness and lead, i was told it was not allowed in any of their stores with my assistance dog. Its hard not to notice how many similar stories there are with Wetherspoon and i intended to wrote to the media over this. One staff member was absolutely fine, but the 'manager' had a 'zero' policy... which is completely contrary to UK law.

Great food, inexpensive, very loud atmosphere but fun, very attentive waiters and clerks. It took longer to get our table cleared and cleaned than what it took to get our food. Definitely a go-to place if you don’t want to spend a lot of money and get a good meal and a beer

Only place in the city to get a cheap drink & food,can get busy in the evening's because it's a student pub & locals have to fit in with the situation at times...toilets can get grim at times also.

I absolutely love this place, It has friendly staff, it's warm, comfortable & I can charge my devices when on the move from the comfort of a booth, A well-cooked breakfast for £2.99 and unlimited hot drinks for £1.71 All served my table in under 10 minutes. And I hear that opening a new branch in Bath…looking forward to seeing that 💯👏

Wouldn't go here again watching cleaning staff wiping nose on clothes then cleaning tables and wiping coffee machine.

Had bacon sarnies and black pudding for brunch. Food was hot and perfectly cooked. Staff were really nice and helpful.

A Wetherspoons is a Wetherspoons wherever you go. Cheap drinks, only stopped in for some soft drinks and the use of the facilities. Very busy and lively for 10:30am, but don't let it being morning stop you from having a good time. The carpet in this Wetherspoons was nothing incredibly special.

You know what you're getting in a Wetherspoons, cheap and cheerful but this one was a really pleasant experience due to the friendly and attentive staff. Tables were cleared and cleaned promptly and the staff were really happy.

Just had a pint of Jaipur real ale which was excellent and probs my fave beer. We had an ultimate burger and a double american. Both where hot, juicy and excellent. I love the Spoons open grill style kitchens, always better food. Well done the Bath spoons team.

Mi esposa y yo visitamos Bath durante dos días y había planeado ser / banquete en cucharas a la llegada, que fue genial, también tuvimos almuerzo, un panni, una hora de almuerzo e incluso canceló la cena en un restaurante para comer aquí. Teníamos pescado y patatas fritas, scampi y patatas fritas. Aunque ocupado me pareció agradable el personal, el servicio eficiente tanto en el bar como en la aplicación y en general nada más que elogios para el Wessex. Hemos estado en unas 19 cucharas en diferentes partes del país y este es sin duda allí arriba y volvería a visitar cuando viene en Bath, mejor que el de Chippenham que es el peor que hemos visitado.

Not a very good experience at all as are food that we ordered when I came out to our table was almost cold and my daughter and sons meal came out wrong, and the servers are quite young and do not give a dame, as my husband went up to make a complaint about our food they turned away and started sniggering and the cooks were just as bad.

Witherspoon's. What can I say. A place to go for a cheap pint, value food, fast service, busy atmosphere. Which is why we all go there. I enjoyed a mixed grill. Wow.. a serious amount of food. I was stuffed. Colleagues did the same. With the simplicity of ordering everything through my phone. Just an all round good experience.

Typical city centre Spoons..you know what you're getting, and being city centre you know it's going to be slightly more expensive than a market town spoons. Still great value

Women in security was very rude, our friend had left to go to toilet just before closing and we were asked to leave. I politely asked to wait for our friend and was told she was waiting outside for us, I know for a fact this was a lie. I do not believe security should be lying to customers like this, it is inappropriate and dangerous as we could have left our friend behind. Do not recommend staying in this pub close to closing as they are adamant on you leaving and are outright rude!

We visited the King of Wessex Wetherspoon in Bath for breakfast on the weekend, and as the only Wetherspoon in the city, it was absolutely packed. Despite how busy it was, the staff were quick and efficient with our order, which was impressive. The food was tasty and served hot, and as expected from Wetherspoon, the prices were very affordable, making it a great value-for-money option. The atmosphere was lively, though it can get quite crowded during peak times. Overall, it’s a solid spot for a budget-friendly meal in Bath, but be prepared for a busy environment, especially on weekends.

Weatherspoons pubs are great value for money and this one has plenty of tables and is in a convenient central location.

Food not overly amazing unfortunately. We ordered freedom breakfast, which I've had in several other wetherspoons as its an easy gluten free choice. However, this took almost 20mins to be served to us, and came out lukewarm at best. The waiting staff seemed to be quite overwhelmed, but the pub wasn't overly busy, maybe half full. Pub was clean, toilets were decent, although I'm not keen on the fact they have camera in the sink area part of the loos. The cubicles themselves have tall doors, so I doubt the camera could see in, but even so, not a pleasant thought. All in all quite disappointing, I know spoons is a quick and easy option for things like brunch, but it's not as good as I'd hoped

Nice pub good wheelchair access just no parking

I appreciate a good weatherspoons and this is definitely not one of them, it's scruffy and the toilets are disgusting. Didn't have food as I couldn't bring myself to do it. For some reason I expected Bath to do better but in this case it failed.

We have just finished our meal at the King of Wessex pub in Bath, our meals were cold, my wife had the mixed grill and her meat was tough and cold. I had the sausages with chips and beans, the sausages were barely warm and the beans were stone cold. I used to be a chef and am well aware how quickly baked beans and a mixed grill can cool so more should and could have been done to avoid this.

A typical weatherspoons experience, with Friendly staff and Prompt service . We had breakfast which was as described, hot and great value.

Wetherspoons #128 visited. This is the first time I've managed to visit this Spoons branch, on my previous two visits to Bath, the pub was absolutely rammed, and was unable to find a table. A reasonable sized branch, situated on the western side of the City Centre, in the Kingsmead Entertainment complex. Not too far from the old Bath Green Park Station. Ordered at the Bar in this occasion. Ordered a Big Cheese Burger, a double burger with Brie and cheese sauce. This came with chips, two Haloumi fries, and a pint of Leffe Blonde. This was on special offer for £9.96. This was one of the burgers being offered as part of the Xmas 2024 menu. The pub was reasonably busy on this visit, and managed to find a table towards the rear of the pub. Food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. Unfortunately the chips and Halloumi fries were lukewarm. However, the overall meal was OK. Edit: Returned around 8pm after a long trek round Bath. Had the 10" Southern Fried Chicken Wrap, and what appeared to be a large portion of chips! Not bad for £6.67 - with the pint of Leffe Blonde. Only issue was the wrap didn't come with the smokey Chipotle mayo, clearly someone forgot to add it, so was a bit dry. Wetherspoons really needs a second branch in Bath, not only because this pub can get very busy, but also due to it being a distance from the main part of the large City Centre. I doknow plans were afoot for a second branch, hopefully will happen at some point in the future.

This is Wetherspoons. I have come to expect atmosphere, service, a great range of beers, coffee and excellent value-for- money. My son and I experienced all of them. Warm, bright, modern and central. This was a great venue for us to dine. Very friendly staff too!

Have to many tables and chairs in pub can't move in they food not hot when you get it

Visitamos un viernes y sábado por la noche. Una típica Wetherspoons con una gran selección de bebidas - Guinness a £ 4 la pinta era £ 2. 50 más barato que otros lugares en Bath. Servicio súper rápido a través de la aplicación. La comida era buena también. Muy ocupados con muchos estudiantes hicieron difícil conseguir una mesa, pero no dejamos de sentarnos. Al entrar, una portera se mostró reacia a dejarme entrar diciendo que no me parezco a mi identificación, luego entrando la escucho decir “nunca se sabe con los asiáticos, ya que todos se parecen”. Encontré esto profundamente ofensivo, ya que estoy llevando a uno de mis clientes aquí para no armar un escándalo, pero me gustaría que esto se tratara de una manera profesional.

Large modern Wetherspoons pub, one of their better ones. Swift and friendly service, high standard of cleanliness. Food arrived promptly and was a decent portion size.

They got my order wrong and it too long for them to change it. My onion bhaji was a bit burn. The lady at the counter was chatting with her colleague and not paying attention to me.

Very exciting Spoons!! The toilets are on the same level as the pub! NO STAIRS! Fab breakfast as always, in the town, next to a cinema. Came here for opening at 8am and still not the first ones in 🤪 Love a Wetherspoons. Absolutely spotless.

In a quieter part of the city area, the site is on a road near a crossing. Everything is on one level. The day we visited, it was busy with Christmas drinks and lunch. However, the service was quick, the tables were being cleared and cleaned with speed. Everything was clean and tidy. The team was pleasant, polite, helpful and friendly.

Nandoss food was cold and had to buy extra food when I left. Avoid

We had Chicken Tikka Masala and Jafferi. With Naan and a drink for each. The food was great! Plus, it was on a thursday, we got the thurrsday meal deal 😍

Went for lunch after going to the Christmas markets,food was poor,service was bad,the place was packed,worst food I have ever had the misfortune to eat,I was really disappointed,too many people rammed into too small a room,I don't recommend eating here when the pub is busy

Our experience at King of Wessex pub Bath was one of the most impressive in a Wetherspoon. We arrived for food at a busy time but young Callum was immediately so helpful in personally seeking out a table still free. Really helpful and polite. Our steak was a little more rare than we wanted but immediately he was on the case and Craig who had also brilliantly and helpfully sorted out a salad problem got attentively involved to ensure everything went smoothly and that we were happy. Amazing. These two are ambassadors for this chain and deserve acclaim. Thanks. It's understandable that mistakes happen at any level in life from the mundane to the globally historic, but Craig and Callum gave a masterclass in how to deal with problems with focus, energy and impeccable discretion. Many thanks.

It's all that Weather spoons are good at. Value for money, good food on a budget. Plenty of seating. Good value offers across the board. Great access to all. Polite staff. Bar and table service through the app. Toilets which are accessible to all. Warm surroundings. Fairly central to all.

Okay, so we went to The King of Wessex, and honestly? What a disaster. We were so looking forward to a good meal, but it ended up being a total mess. We ordered a ham and mushroom pizza with extra chicken breast, plus two crunchy chicken and a Korean sticky chicken with rice. Sounds simple enough, right? Wrong. The pizza arrived with just ONE piece of crunchy chicken on top. At first, we didn't even notice the chicken breast was missing. But then we asked, and they insisted it was already on there. Yeah, right. So, we showed them a picture of the pizza, and surprise, surprise – no chicken breast! Then they bring us this tiny bowl of plain, tasteless chicken breast. Like, seriously? Why use our crunchy chicken as a topping when we ordered chicken breast? It makes no sense! The other dishes were fine, but the whole pizza fiasco just ruined the mood. It felt like they weren't paying attention to our order at all. We left feeling super annoyed and like they didn't care. Hopefully, they'll read this and get their act together. But until then, we're definitely not going back.

It is one of the better pubs in this chain. The food was good but took ages to arrive and it was the same story for the drinks. Very busy when we were there at lunchtime on a Saturday.

It was the only pub open in Bath that let us sit down for dinner at 8.30pm on Sunday! A large pub where as well as drinking you can order food, we had a hamburger with chips for 5.72 pounds, cheaper than McDonald's and of good quality. quality.

Food was'nt that brilliant had fish n chips were a bit pale, not enough chips, fish a bit small have a bigger piece from our locally chippyI.did enjoy my steak and ale pie yet again I would have liked a tiny bit more mash ,wouldnt go back at all a bit expensive for the size of portion you get.
