When you can have a two course adult lunch for under £9 and kids meals for around £5, you're not expecting incredible food. The food served was passable, cooked well enough, tasty and did the job. It's cheap and cheerful. No problem at all. However, in other pub grub places, there is least a semblance of basic service. I'm not expecting fuss or someone pretending to care about how my food is as I hate that malarkey anyway, but you have to have the very basics in place. Things like: *Once you've ordered at the till (again,no problem with this-it works at Spoons), at least keep a log of table orders and bring a knife, fork, napkin and sauces over to the table rather than saying "knives n forks are in the box there" with goodness knows how many dirty mitts that have been on them. * When diners have finished, clear the tables and activily look for tables to clear. Some tables near us were left uncleared for around half an hour. Not a good look. When we'd finished our food, we waited ages for it be cleared. Staff had been near taking orders and delivering meals to others around us but just had tunnel vision. * Be quicker!!!! Again, no problem with the food but as it's basic, line chef fodder, at least get it served quicker than 45 minutes plus. No excuses here. Again, pub grub is cheap, cheerful and tasty but there are so many places serving similar food in the local area at similar price points where you'd at least get basic service and this is coming from someone who doesn't usually notice the service! Management need to ensue staff do better to earn their money. I appreciate it's long hours and low wages (i worked for years in a supermarket and can sympathise) but no excuses.

Excellent value for money. First time visiting since the refurbishment, having left Redditch/Studley ourselves. Food as delicious as ever, big portions. Chips were huge!! Fish had proper batter and gorgeous fillet in with proper mushy peas. Curry was delicious as well. Will have to return as was too full for dessert on this visit. Great service as always!!

We visited last night for my mother in laws 60th birthday, there was 20 of us in our party. We were very impressed with our visit, they did explain there would be a 45 minute wait when we ordered because there was another party of 20 guests at the same time and also busy with other guests. The food all arrived within 45minutes as they stated it would, all food was served together and everyone was impressed and enjoyed their meals. The staff were all attentive and helpful, everyone in our party had a lovely evening and we will definalty be back!

First time in this pub and hopefully not the last as it's a very nice place, good food friendly staff and very good prices.

Thought we'd give the place a try again but wished we hadn't! The car park is full of large pot holes which you can't see because of all the water. There are so many you couldn't avoid them!!! When we entered the pub, everyone behind the bar and near the bar just glared at us like we shouldn't be there! We went up to order our food and the bar staff were rude and I had to repeat my order several times. They had run out of basic things with both the food and drinks. When the food arrived, it was nearly thrown on the table, and they didnt check if we needed anything. My meal was missing things which it said it should have. The steak and onion rings were over cooked. The chicken was very dry. All the food was luke warm, I tried to find someone but no one was around or even interested. The pudding was burnt on the top but freezing cold in the middle with no ice cream which was requested. When we went back to the bar the order pudding. There were what I can only assume regulars or staff who weren't working sat at the end of the bar. They were trying belittle and embarrass the bar staff who was trying to serve us. The language the were using was discussing for a so called 'family restaurant'. I wouldn't won't my young children hearing this!!

Had a family meal here for 7 of us, The food was good and not too expensive. I had the Jubilee Burger that was OK I wish I'd had the pie as it was Chicken and Ham Hock. Will eat here again I'm sure.

Friendly staff, good choice of beverages, great food generous portions, + plenty of choice. Dogs outside only, but very large garden area so Summer drinks with your dog not a problem.

Great local pub with a comprehensive menu with something for the majority of tastes. Order at the bar and foot served quickly . Looked and tasted good. Tried the American Beef burger Pizza. Not bad at all, would have again.

After seeing good reviews today on local spotted group about salt and pepper, we realised the venue had indeed reopened. that post was a good advert. so a call to book in on opening was done and a drive down for food. we were greeted and seated promptly with a smile. food delivery was fast and quality / quantity of food was also great. looked after here very well. will recommend time and time again. the salt and pepper was present and correct. Best place in studley for family's. Not many like this. Nice secure play area. Friendly staff and great food. 100% recomend.

Ordinary, service poor, no real ale, food very average. Go to the Bell at Astwood Bank or the Little Lark at Studley or if you want to pay a bit more The Neville Arms. Been told to give it a try but sorry not for me or my friends.

Struggled to find a clean table while all the staff messed around singing/ playing games together, tables just full of plates that have been sat their hours. Ordered two burgers both came out like the bun had been soaking in the oil, I know it’s good value and cheap but I wouldn’t even serve my dog that. While eating we could barely hear each other talk as the staff just kept shouting and messing around the hole time. Not professional at all.

Food was good at reasonable price. Have carried out good refurbishment and will be better when garden finished. Good play area for kids.

I go once a month and meet up with friends I used to work with there can beat least 20 of us and all the meals they have served up over the last two years have been lovely I always go for the lighter lunches like the jacket or wraps I have tried all the fillings some of the others have larger appetites and go for two courses We never have had to complain about anything

What a poor experience we had as a family. All the kitchen staff and bar staff were standing at the bar drinking alcohol and discussing there weekend quite loudly (totally unprofessional) The food arrived for quickly ( obviously pre-cooked) food was very basic and over priced. I would certainly not recommend this chav hole.

Visited The Jubilee for a birthday celebration. The pub has had a renovation and looks beautiful. 11 meals served all together, hot and presented well. Can’t fault the food everyone was happy. The staff were very friendly, polite and very helpful going above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble. We were not rushed to leave, it was a pleasure to spend time and money in the pub. Well done for being apart of a special birthday celebration and Thankyou to everyone that was working. Certainly be back soon

The food was mainly good, children’s meals were excellent with a starter and main included in the price. The sizzler was tasty and the vegetarian option was good, unfortunately the gammon was tough. Large portions at a reasonable price. We planned to eat in the beer garden, but the furniture was decrepit and broken, my granddaughter got a splinter from the rotting wooden table. There was a lot of litter on the grass. We ate inside, it was very busy and noisy, but it was Saturday night. The toilets facilities needed cleaning. There was a nice outside area with a climbing frame which the children enjoyed playing on. Overall we enjoyed the meal and we would go back.

We used to visit here when they had the pig and chickens. Decided to try here was slightly hesitant as my son has been diagnosed with coeliacs disease. There wasn’t anything on the menu that he could eat but the young guy behind the bar was so helpful. He altered some meals so that my son could have a hearty gluten free meal. I had the chicken sizzler it was delicious. All our food was hot, greatly presented and tasty. Very good price and nice atmosphere. Kids played outside and had a lovely time.

Service horrendous, food burnt, my wife’s main came out and the peppercorn sauce was like a madras, spoke the the barman with piercings no apology charged me £2.95 for gravy that then took 10 minutes to come out and by which time food cold. The most miserable unwelcoming employees I have had the misfortune to come across. We will never return here and you really need to set an example to your staff as management because their attitude mirrored your total unprofessionalism from the get go. In the times we have had with the pandemic, you should be grateful people want to spend their money and eat out, absolutely awful experience

Visited with friends after visiting Barn just up the road. We went for a long lunch and catch up and there for over 4 hours. The mains were ok off the main menu, although the steak was overdone for my rare to medium liking. Cheesecake had little taste although the lime puddings were a hit. Beware of the disabled toilet as the lock sticks and is difficult to open with arthritic hands so one of our party had to stand outside when the toilet was in use. Staff young and friendly.

Me and my husband can here for an expected date night. We ordered off of they're set menu The food was absolutely beautiful some of the nicestbive ever had. If you like huge portions of food (consisting mainly of chips) for a very small amount of money and you don’t mind eating poor quality food then this is definitely the place for you. The clientele consisted of toothless tracksuit wearers. I didn’t choose the venue and had no say in where we went but I certainly wouldn’t return. The tables weren’t particularly clean, there was rubbish on the floor of the restaurant and in the ladies, the cutlery, crockery and drinking glasses were very basic. The staff were pleasant though.

The food is awful a meal that the bar staff said was “ popular “ turned out to be boiled in the bag chicken that hadn’t seen any cream served with a microwaved jacket potato ! Microwave reheated meals that are of poor quality !! Would have complained but staff didn’t come and ask how the meal was and were instead all in the kitchen, the emerged as we left and had the cheek to say thank you after serving us such shocking meals and knowing we were leaving without having the pudding we’d paid for !

We have generally always had a good meal at the jubilee. Good value for money and good food. The place needs a bit of a clean as tables sticky and menus all old and sticky.Staff seemed very friendly which is an improvement, however I think the chef may have changed as the meal today for the first time was disappointing. Steak over cooked and chewy. Burger meal disaster! Cold chips, sent back, cold onion rings, sent back and finally cut into burger, yes, stone cold. By the time this was sorted my wife had finished her meal and I didn't feel like my meal therefore most of it was left.Terrible shame and waste of good money.

Ok so we decided to go here for a meal as we haven’t been for a very long time but wish we didn’t bother. The food was awful the chicken wing starter was like boiled chicken wings absolutely horrible then the mains came out and all I can say is stay away. Been to-day, 4 adult meals 1 child’s £37,00 ...it needs a clean up which is happening slowly, the staff are young and all very friendly, speak as soon as you go in, well done kids ..our meals were very nice, piping hot & generous ....our only complaint was the cola from the pump, very expensive £3.10 and tasted like water ....they were apologetic and gave us our money back ..no quibble ...so Jubilee please don’t water it down so much, no fiizz either, ....this is a family pub lots of space outside for the kids to play, years ago they used to have a small animal pen ....all in all worth a try, food is lovely ....will we come again to eat...of course we will ....

It saddens me to write a less than appraising review about anywhere I have dined but, here we are.

30 of us descended today to celebrate our daughters 8th birthday. Lads behind the bar were fantastic couldn't do enough to help, credit to the place. Food was great. All helped to make her birthday special as every year thank you. Xx

Just had a family meal and was very happy. The food was amazing and the service very good. Would recommend to everyone. So nice to go to a none chain pub.

Went for a dinner with my partner and young son. The waitress brought us the wrong order and when I questioned it she began arguing with me over what I had ordered. She was very accusing and snappy rather than having a normal polite conversation about the misunderstanding. When she then brought us the right food she virtually threw it on the table and walked away. Following this I went to order a drink from the bar and the same waitress decided she was so annoyed at me asking for the correct order that she wouldn't serve me at the bar so I waited over 10 mins until a male bar tender came to serve me. I felt anxious, attacked, on edge during the whole experience and couldn't wait to leave. Never again.

My parents use this place frequently so we decided to join them here, my 1st impression was very nice, the menu looked a great selection and very reasonably priced, and all the young staff seemed to have an excellent work ethic, As I have an allergy to dairy, I asked at the bar for an allergen menu, only to be told there is not one so I asked what I could have that was dairy/milk free, the young lad went into the kitchen and returned to tell me that they were unsure, leaving me no option but to not eat here, such a shame as everything else appeared to be so nice. I do hope they can correct this as I would like to return there to have a meal out with my parents

Not a pub to stop at if your on a walk with a dog . Does have a beer garden but no dogs inside the pub

Quiet when we arrived. Stafflovely and food mid prices but plenty of it. A nice family meal was had here and time after for kids into run about in the huge garden

This is our ‘go to’ place when don’t want to cook or spend a lot. It’s changed over the years and is a lot better than it was. The portion sizes for some of the menu is huge. The steak is good. Not a dressy place but if you want good food quick without being too expensive with the family then would recommend.

Went to the pub the other morning looking forward to a veggie breakfast, only to be informed that they did not have any Quorn sausages!!! Thinking about it, the last time we made a visit to this establishment, they did not have any Quorn sausages?? You really should have the sausages, as they are kept in the freezer?? I was not left with much choice for breakfast from the menu, so had to have an omelette with cheese and tomatoes, which was fine.

I had my mothers funeral wake at The Jubilee. They put on a buffet for us, it was amazing lots of sandwiches sausage rolls porkpies and then the hot food pizza chips drumsticks . There was so much food good quality tasty that I asked people if they wanted to take some home with them, which they all did thank you Jubilee for making the day special relaxed and carefree x

Popped in to keep warm and pass the time. Staff were friendly but the whole place had a sad, worn and grubby feel to it. Priced dirt and dust everywhere. Coffee was average taste and price. Prefer not to revisit

Went to the jubilee for dinner today with a friend. What can i say, the whole place look tired and neglected. Was shocked with the price of 2 halves of Coke £4.50 Decided to take a table then noticed cobwebs or round-the-clock and lampshades somebody should take them down And wash them. Because the staff spent most their time standing around chatting or on their phone. then when the food came to us it was such a let down Sliceed into my lasagna and Jesus rubber and underneath was a mush I could not tell one layer from the other. finally hunted for pasta and found it so chewy and edible. Credit to the waitress who looks so embarrassed coming to take my plate back to the kitchen and then giving me a refund thank you very much for that BUT an afternoon out with a friend spoilt disappointed. Do proper food. Fresh.

What you see is what you get, great friendly staff, can't fault them. They dont pretend the place is middle class, but its annoying that half the clientele appear drunk or smell of weed. Its ok, no complaints, but you wont get a quiet drink & meal in here.

We have been visiting this pub for years. The value for money is amazing. You get massive portions for such a good price. They offer a good vegetarian variety and staff are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend

We visited as a large party having pre booked. This is an exetremly busy and popular pub, large food choice and enormous portions at really cheap prices. But don't be fooled the food is really good quality and well prepared and presented. The main issue is a small kitchen that means the wait for food in busy periods is well over an hour. Staff are friendly but under presurer, I think if you avoided the busy Friday and Saturday evening service would be fine, however for good quality food at competitive prices it's worth a visit

Cheap and cheerful!. Popped in for a quick post fishing trip lunch. Good menu choice and a fair range of drinks. If you are looking for a sophisticated dining experience then keep on driving however if you want a fair priced basic meal with fast and efficient service then park up!

We went there yesterday for breakfast because we didn't want to cook. Really really heavy rain and the door was instantly opened for us by the owner, made to feel very welcome.

Been here many time and always had good food. We when here for breakfast it was very good comes with refillable tea or coffee and great value, staff are very good nothing is too much trouble. So would we return YES !!!!..

As cheap eats places go this was above average in the "value for money" stakes. The portions are generous and the choices good. The service is prompt and efficient and the staff courteous and polite.

Visited this pub on the spur of the moment. To be honest, I did not expect haute cuisine and did not receive it either. There is quite an extensive menu and this will cater well for most tastes. The food is not expensive either. At this point, I have to be honest, the food was better than I expected and for the money was excellent. I have to say that my only comments are that the tables could do with a good clean, along with the bar surface as these were all smeary/sticky, didn’t give a good impression, it makes you wonder what the kitchen is like?

Yesterday we visited here my partner and I with our children. We had amazing quality food with perfect presentation with fabulous value for money.. the kids meals £5.45 for 2 courses and a slush puppie drink. Kids meals were a fair size too.. good quality chicken nuggets and pizza... our adult meals were of good quality too.. barbeque chicken with lovely presented salad and a really good mixed grill!!!! It really is 10/10 for this place ... lovely staff too that really work hard... well done!!!!
