Lovely warm welcome,friendly staff. Absolutely lovely food, very. Could comment on rooms. But rooms we use for food toilets very clean

Called in for a drink, and had a lovely pint of HBA pale ale. My only criticism is that the glass was dirty. Friendly service, though. Sadly, the place feels "worn out" and could be so much more with a revamp.

Great central location, friendly. We stayed one night in twin room. Rooms clean and functional, beds comfy. Nowhere to hang clothes though, no wardrobe, rail or even coat hooks! (And handle on outside of door so close to jamb I caught my fingers when closing door to leave room). Good value though, and did the job for one night.
