Great food, great service, lovely well mannered staff and reasonably priced. Will definitely go back again.

The best fish and chips. The fish was battered just right. I recommend the gravy, curry, and homemade tartar sauce. I will definitely come back.

Took my mum in here today,very accommodating and pleasant. The owner had a nice smile and was very well mannered which I.love 😊. Our food was tasty and the chips were lovely. We both left very full and happy. Lovely staff

Fish and chips - £7.50. The batter was very greasy and the quality of the fish itself wasn’t great. I guess it was cheap enough so not a disaster. Friendly service, clean-ish place.

We've become regulars of this this plaice...😉 really friendly staff and would highly recommend a visit. Food is out of this world. Food is fresh and made to order. Couldn't recommend it more.

TOTALLY DISGUSTING - Called in today for a cod - and I have to say as the WORST fish I have ever been served in a chip shop Expensive, certainly not fresh - clearly frozen - horrible taste and although I waited 10 min - no way was this fresh out of a fryer never in million years ! You can't see the food being cooked fresh infront of you - which says a lot !! - the portion size was tiny and it was over cooked / warmed up . I think its unacceptable to offer such shocking food like this - if I could give them 0 stars it would be too many. Dreadful !!!!!!!!!!!!!! place was also almost empty - unlike Thompsons just up the rock - who are always packed.

We ordered the fish and chips. The food was delicious and cooked to order. It was a bit pricey for the small portions. Customer service was good. I recommend this location because the food was good.

First visit here on a day trip to Bury Market. We went for "The special" Cod, chips and peas, A slice of bread and butter and a pot of tea for an amazing £10.50. Lovely clean, airy cafe with very friendly welcoming staff. 3 of us had the special and we all enjoyed it very much. Just the right size portion very tasty and nice and hot. Will definitely recommend and return next time we go to the market.

Our group was 2 adults, 2 children and a baby. When we were trying to look through the window to see if there was a table, the man that seemed to be running things popped his head out and informed us that he had a table we could use. He came to take our order shortly after and asked specific questions about the baby's requirements so that he got everything perfect for him. The adults had fish and chips which was absolutely gorgeous and cooked to perfection. The children got a box with their food in - which included a drink and a stand up card thing - and their meals were also surprisingly generous. We ordered fish and chips for the baby and he received a beautifully cooked small fillet of fish. So beautiful that he was the one who actually ate the most of his meal! The staff were all lovely and friendly, the place looked immaculate and it was just generally a really nice welcoming experience! It's also wheelchair accessible!!

Always enjoy lunch here. Food is always good and hot. Reasonably priced. The staff are always really pleasant and so helpful. My dad's in a wheelchair and they always come and help transfer him or move furniture and open the door for us. Highly recommended.

Great Place to eat, Fish chips and peas was lovely at a good price, the staff are really nice the gentleman who served us was very busy but made sure we got a table he was none stop but still made sure he could attend to the customer's, great guy, highly recommended.

Really good fish and chips. £9.50 for fish, chips, mushy peas, bread and butter and a cup of tea. The fish was tasty, you could actually taste the fish and the chips were proper chippy chips. Not a huge portion but certainly enough to fill you up. The waiter was really polite and efficient, the food was served quickly and the place was clean, I can't complain and I'd definitely go back

I was here yesterday and I've been coming to this incredible place for years with my daugher. Always get the best food in bury by far and the owner is incredible, nothing is ever too much trouble. Came in yesterday for our first visit there. Very impressed with staff, social distancing and cleanliness. The food although 0only chippy food was the best ever. Not many chippys do a soft steak pudding but it was superb. My fussy pregnant daughter ate all her meat and potato pie and chips. Keep up the good work were coming again

First time here not long before closing was a little sceptical but by the end wad impressed. Food ans service was excellent. Family run.i think and well looked after by the older gentleman who looked after us amd had a bit of banter at the same time. Will definitely be back

My favourite fish and chip cafe. ordered plaice and chips. Absolutely delicious! the batter is the best, so light and crispy. Their homemade tartare sauce is the best i have tried. Well worth a stop, should win a national award.
