Excellent delivery and one of the best curries I've had in a long time

Terrible treatment of staff. Don't even allow time off for personal important events let alone Eid. Completely unethical.

Excellent. We stumbled upon this takeaway by accident as I hadn’t realised when ordering that it wasn’t our local India takeaway. We were a little dubious when it arrived due to ordering by accident and not doing our research into the takeaway however, were pleasantly surprised by the fresh tasty food that arrived. Absolute value for money and will now be our regular Indian takeaway from now on!

Standard curry, however, the apparent "English" fish and chips was an absolute insult. Small chunks of fish, in a really soggy batter, covered in a spiced sauce and onions. Not an English fish and chips and was so disgusting. Plenty of better places around here who know how to cook a proper fish and chips so don't bother ordering from here.

Ordered a takeaway from here for the first time for my dads birthday meal. It was all very tasty, fresh, arrived early, polite driver, juicy meat, massive portions AND we got about £10-£15 extra free because we had placed a big family order. So happy with them. Thankyou!

This place is shocking. Food inedible and consists of who knows what? No need to wonder why. The place has been inspected and given a rating of 1 by the Food Standards Agency. You are probably eating insect droppings.

Ordered at 7:00 didn’t come till 10 to 9, they did say it would be delayed, waited best part of 2 hours food was cold Nan bread and chips soggy.

Accidentally entered the wrong delivery address. Phoned up the takeaway and problem was sorted straight away and still delivered on time.

It is only a take away that used to be the best in Whitefield, alas a change of chef also means a change in expectations of food orders. For example my son rated the Jalfazzi at Shabash, OK at least a month ago, nearly on par with what you could expect at now closed down Duwat, it did not anywhere come near to it, in fact it was a one pot curry that is the basis of curry you order, it will be a long day before I reorder any food from this take away again.

Nothing was wrong with the service. We collected it was quick. No qualms with the staff or anything. No flavour to the curries. Everyone we ate with said it was “the worst [insert type of curry they were eating] that they’d ever had” I personally had the chicken tikka masala, not a hint of tomato, garam masala or coriander, was the blandest curry I’ve ever put in my mouth. Tasted really sweet like a bad version of a korma- and I’m not even adverse to korma. The worst thing was, Lamb Saag, an almost opposite flavour curry, tasted exactly the same only with some added spinach and the lamb swapped out for chicken. We’re really disappointed as we love the pizza place next door and the reviews convinced us it was going to be good. Really surprised at how bad it is. The peshwari naan was edible but not great. The keema naan was lacking any keema, was soggy and rubbish. We’ve all been left thoroughly disappointed.

Order was 20 mins early. Hot and delicious as always. The new chilli rice was very nice too.

Very good food but they could say on the website CARDS NOT ACCEPTED,I was embarrassed and had to leave to find an ATM to go back and get my order.

The chicken from the mixed kabab was tough as old boots! Either rough chicken to begin with, or cooked previously and nuked to reheat. Had to bin it. The lamb in the curry was lovely and melt in the mouth.

Chicken Madrqs was amazing! The chicken was so succulent and the sauce was delicious. Tikka masala was great too. Ood was piping hot, highly recommended.

"Hello Shabaz in whitefield" Food was amazing as it always is from shabaz. You only get the best quality food and most beautiful meals from Shabaz. I couldn't recommend this place enough if you've never ordered from here before. The chicken tikka vindaloo was the most beautiful, flavourful just bursting with charisma vindaloo I have ever eaten. Chicken pakoras from here are to die for.

Ordered at 7pm on Saturday night, delivery said it would come between 7:40pm and 8pm. This then changed to 8:10pm to 8:40pm. Still no sign of the delivery. Then we rang to check where the order was at 8:40pm, they said it would be 10 minutes. We rang again at 9:15pm, they said it would be 5 minutes. The order arrive at 10:06pm. Unbelievable, won’t be ordering again.

Ok, so it saddens me to have to write this. Shabaz is (was) my go-to takeaway for over 10 years. We've had the best. The very best. But lately we've had poor quality food. And I've phoned them and apologies, etc. And then it happened again. And now tonight. Rough, undercooked chicken. Tough chicken, bad to taste. Slop sauce. Poorly made. So, sorry, no more phone calls. No more trying. Many will disagree, but bet you a virtual tenner you'll see this happen to you too. Soon.

What can I say. Every curry tastes the same, balti, bunha, Jalfrezzi they taste like a bag of sugar has been added. Keema nann ( mince meat) stuffed with donner meat not mince. We all had spoonfuls of each others meal and everyones tasted the same no spice just sweet. One hour and 55 minutes for delivery only to be told they are just busy.. have the decency to stop taking orders u till you catch up. The food also arrived cold. Worse take away we have had and it reminded us why we have only ordered once before. Back to our usual Arman . No apology just excuse.of we are busy. £37 quid was a waste. Maybe coming from a culture and back ground where curry is made a lot at home maybe we expect a proper curry although being made by Asian people you would think it would be quality. However this is not the case.

I have been going here for a couple of years now and never had a bad meal.and they always cater for your needs I like my curries between medium and hot and they always do them the way i like them.

I'm a regular customer for the last, I dunno 10 years or so. Today we order a bumper delivery for us and the kids, wait 1 1/2 hours then decide to ring up because we're hungry and it's spoiling our evening. Apologies given, although the food still hasn't been made. Turns up 2 1/2 hours after placing the order. Shabaz offered us a free onion bhaji for this. One. £45 order, two and a half hours late and one free onion bhaji. There are other places to order from guys, if your too busy to serve your customers maybe try better communication, or discounts? Piss poor. And you've lost me as a customer.

This is by far one of the best curry gaffs I've ordered from, had the chicken jalfrezzi with spicy rice, cheesy garlic nann, everything was absolutely gorgeous, I'm mad for my food and can hands on say this place is highly recommended

Shabaz is the best takeaway I’ve had. Food is always fresh and tasty. The Jali Bhuna is worth a try. It’s quite expensive for a takeaway and have just had another price increase, which has made friends start to look elsewhere but I think the quality is worth the increase (for now)

Not had a good curry for a long time. Gave Shabaz a try & got my taste back for Indian food. Perfect meal delivered on a Friday night & not too expensive. Very pleased to find a good curry house again!!

Only discovered this place last month, doesn't look much from the outside as it's in a pretty rundown parade of shops. So far all the food has been excellent and very good value.

The food from here is always great. The staff are friendly and the delivery times are good. delivery staff always well mannered.

Although chicken tikka samber isn't on the menu, these guys still make it for me and it's amazing. Would definitely recommend and fabulous service too.

We have not been able to have a take away from the Shabaz for nearly 10 years, The Shabaz was our regular Indian take away when we lived in Unsworth in Bury before we moved to South Wales nearly 10 years ago. We have always stayed in hotels and as such have not had the opportunity to have a proper take away Indian meal. This time we stayed in a self catering apartment and promised ourselves that we would have an Indian take away meal from the Shabaz, Whitefield. We were not disappointed , as ever our meal was freshly cooked in front of me, two chefs running 10 frying pans turning meals out every few minutes - well worth the wait - can't wait for our next visit and of course our Indian take away from the Shabaz in Whitefield. Best in the North West!

Indian is my favourite take away and this place never disappoints. The curry is always lovely and fresh and the garlic naan is amazing! Don't go anywhere else, go here you won't regret it!

I ordered delivery, was absolutely happy with the food..my friend had lamb Madras, which was absolutely delicious, I ordered Rogan dish mix ,was delicious and smooth and for first time we ate all the food till last drop..naan bread was nice too,we almost always leave some pieces,but this one was so good we almost was fighting who is gonna eat it.finally I found decent curry place and I hope it's gonna be keeping running like this

We have been having food delivered from here for 17 years and have to say it's the best we have ever had and we are great curry lovers. Shaheed,the owner, runs a spotlessly clean shop. The delivery service is excellent but the food is better than excellent! Order early because Fridays and Saturdays are extremely busy...which just proves how good the food is!
