Top little bar. A real gem in Sherwood. Cosy and unpretentious but with a definite air of class. Always has a great atmosphere and the bar staff are always attentive. Pull up a stool at the bar, order a drink and dig into a freshly prepared small plate or two... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....

Friday nights here are fantastic! Food is delicious and huge selections of drinks/ cocktails ! Staff are lovely and welcoming and live music makes it a great atmosphere for a Friday evening.

Small, dark, warm, and friendly. The staff are lovely, the food is good, and the pig is by all accounts very jolly.

Incredible little gem at the very top of Sherwood. Worth the walk up the hill to finish the evening here too. My partner and I had food and was made to feel extremely welcome by the owner and staff, especially as we hadn’t booked. Venue is small so would recommend booking in advance, but so worth it! Thanks guys

We had such a good time here on Friday night. Cocktails easily on par if not superior to some of the best in Nottingham. Tapas again some of the best, with the meatballs being the highlight - the best we’ve ever tasted. Live music complimented everything without it drowning out the already great atmosphere. Staff are absolutely top notch and it’s now our favourite place to spend a Friday night. Thanks guys!

These are my observations and opinion and I seldom level a negative review but as an ex hotel manager the errors were screaming at me. They have much to get right and the first is to be ultra polite to all. No meaningful signage leading to visitors making mistakes with the loo which was scruffy and seemingly an after thought. It's basically a micro pub trying to be a high end Bistro. High end prices but not so high end service or attitude. Scruffy rude staff trying to coerce and micro manage compliance with petty details. Couldn't wait to leave. Try harder take the medicine and succeed.

Came for the Living Goods pop up, stayed for the vibes!! Lovely cozy atmosphere and staff are 10/10 friendly, funny and just great. Can’t wait to visit again! Thanks all :-)

Love this place, it's so quirky, Staff are so friendly and the food is wonderful. Made to feel very welcome from the very first time we went in. Food menu changes all the time, a lovely experience every time.

The pug really is a little gem. The food is really great and the menu is updated regularly to give frequent new things to try. The drinks are great, and served by people that really know what they’re doing. I’d recommend booking, as it can get busy, but it’s well worth a wait if that’s your choice

Excellent little cocktail and tapas bar located in Sherwood. A good selection of cocktails, beer and wine were available and we had no wait for service. Tapas options were on a board behind the bar and we selected 5 between 4 of us to have a light dinner. Every dish was beautiful but the star for me was a mushroom, stilton and gnocchi plate that was to die for. Highly recommend a visit, I certainly look forward to popping in again.

Smaller than I thought and emptier, I was only customer here, apart from a man sat at the bar, who looked like a local. Staff were friendly, but felt a bit out of place.

Lovely little bar. They do great freshly cooked food. With a daily changing menu board. We had the Baked cod and the chicken Milanese. As the name suggests its a very dog friendly venue. Also great cocktails. Lovely friendly staff too. Review helpful like 👍 follow thanks

Lovely bar and the staff are so friendly and attentive and drink selection is good. Menu has something for everyone. Only problem that stops me going in more is the cooking smell caused by lack of extraction clings to clothes and hair so have to wash all my clothing and hair after visiting.

Nice bar with some amazing drunks, but smelt heavily of old frying oil which stuck to my clothing

While I was expecting a pug to be the owner, that was probably a silly assumption in hindsight and dogs don't even have thumbs let alone own bars. Alas, the nice style and relaxed vibes were coupled well with great food/ drinks and friendly staff. Class cocktails, good beer and lovely food. Definitely going back soon!

This is the best place in sherwood and you cant argue against it. Friendly amazing staff with a good range of food and drinks.

Amazing food, cocktails, atmosphere and very friendly staff. Im still dreaming about the steak tartare and chicken and leek small plates. A must visit. I can’t wait to go there again.

A brilliant combination of proper cocktails and delicious food with a great atmosphere too. Too tempting not to order more! We will be back.

The venue is spoiled by the smell of frying. The windows are always running with condensation due to the cooking steam. It's a shame really.
