Great pub with decorated beer garden. atmosphere was great and we didn't try the food there bar a packet of crisps. Not the best for kids though.

My favourite pub in Castle Donington, a classic pub with 3 TVs for sports when it's on, a dartsboard, and a decent sized beer garden. Very friendly staff who get to know the regulars and reasonable prices.

Don't be put off by the Sky Sports stuff. This pub easily makes the "cracking" category. One of the best pints of Bass I've had.

Lovely place real ales lovely staff

Only live a couple of miles away, but never been in before. Decided to have a cheeky pint after visiting The Priest House for dinner. Lovely traditional old boozer and bar staff very friendly too. Sat in the beer garden, which was lovely, as it was a warm night. One of the patrons was a bit loud and swore a lot (I think he’d had a lot to drink), but he gave the impression that he wasn’t a local, so therefore, we would visit again. Landlord kept a nice pint and the pub seemed very popular.

We decided to drive over to this pub after hearing good things. This place exceeded all expectations, it's a real gem, a temple to real ale, of which they had four on tap. The staff were also magnificent, a friendly welcome and a wave good by. This place is magnificent and any Bass lovers should make the trip. Well done to all involved. Nick and Jo
