Henri was an amazing waiter and made the evening really special. Will definitely come again because of him. The food was terrific.

5 star staff! We were in back in January when we stayed at the hotel we loved in then and loved it yesterday! The seafood and Sunday roast (which was my first one) was amazing !!! The steak was cooked to perfection!!! The staff is wonderful especially Henry! So so sweet ! Love the Jersey oysters they were soooo fresh! Not a local but wish I was ! If you want quality this is the perfect restaurant for you !

My daughter and I had lunch at The Jetty today which was probably the third time we've been there. We had the most delicious lunch on a sunny day and were sat in the window with a lovely view of the Marina. We started by sharing the Jetty Bites, a selection of tiny seafood wonders. We could have been greedy and had one each but we thought we might be too full if we did. I then had the most wonderful Fillet Steak, cooked to perfection, medium rare as I asked, with a Jetty Salad, the most scrumptious fries and Bernaise Sauce. All was delicious. My daughter had a Monkfish dish which she thoroughly enjoyed and also helped me finish the French Fries! We were too full for pudding and I had a Flat White Coffee which was excellent. We found, unlike some other reviews that the welcome and the service was good, absolutely no complaints. As we left we received a farewell greeting from the staff behind the bar. I am surprised that our experience was so different from some other reviews I have read. We will certainly be returning.

Underwhelming food, well presented. winning the prize for the smallest lemon sole as well as the smallest steak ever seen. If you like very al dente vegetables, and pale fries, this is the place for you. Service was friendly and efficient, location pleasant and airy.

The place always come to for that special treat, we won’t be coming again The staff were poor, none of them seemed interested and one woman was quite rude. The food was so average. I had prawns and scallops to start. The scallops were very small and quite tasteless, the prawns were ok. Fish and chips for main course, was ok but you get better in the town and orange fondant for dessert. This wasn’t very nice at all, I’d describe it as stale. The friends I ate with all thought the same. And for 300, no alcohol I’d expect a lot more This place also has dozens of reviews who have only one review. Visited this restaurant today following a recommendation. The woman at front of house left us with food and drink menus and never returned! The cocktails took ages and we were informed we couldn't order until we got to our table. Cocktails were decent. Lovely menu, lots of seafood options and prices are reasonable. Service at the table was much better than in the bar. Would return to the restaurant but will probably give the cocktails a miss next time. As it was my birthday the restaurant treated me to a little under cooked fresh cream sponge which was hugely disappointing 😂

Very picturesque overlooking a small Harbor, lots of boats. They were very accommodating to various allergies. Well presented food. We'll go back the next time we are in southampton.

Unfortunately we had to wait for a long time before we had our drinks order taken. There were a lot of staff on who were more interested in chatting amongst themselves than serving customers sat near. After around 10 minutes we had to approach them to ask about having our order taken. The food was good quality but again the service at the table was lacking. The restaurant wasn’t at full capacity and there was enough waiting staff but not very attentive. Following the meal we ordered some more drinks only to sit and wait again for a long time before we asked if someone was going to take our order. again we saw many of the staff behind the bar laughing and chatting amongst themselves. Nice to see they had a good evening!

Anna and Tiana were honestly so amazing, very hospitable and accommodating not to mention their in depth knowledge and good sense of humour. Special props to the chef as the food was incredible 10/10

Very good quality cooking in a modern environment. A slightly relaxed, laissez fair, French pace of service. Set Sunday lunch was very reasonable & very good quality. The roast alternative was generous, served with an enormous (slightly overdone ???) Yorkshire pudding - I comment gazing across the room as they are wafted in, as opposed to eating one. Good wine selection. The soft shell crab risotto was delicious.

Wow what a lovely meal with my family. We dined at this restaurant as stayed at the hotel for one night and so glad we ate here the food, ambience, staff was all so good. I eat out a lot and this was by far one of the best meals I have had in ages. The menu was just amazing. So much choice and also how lovely there was steak on the children’s menu as not all kids just want pizza and nuggets!! Very impressed with this menu compliments to the Chef and all the lovely staff

We hadn't booked and were pleasantly surprised to get a table on a Friday evening. Initially, we found the restaurant staff unwelcoming and not particularly friendly. However, after making conversation, both our servers turned out to be professional, warm, and chatty. I had delicious scallops to start, but it was a small portion for £16. My partner had the wonderful cheese souffle, which never disappoints. I had the bream with stir fry vegetables from the specials menu and this was superb. My partner had the Sirloin steak with Bearnaise sauce which he thoroughly enjoyed. We shared the mango cheesecake with coconut sorbet and I wish that we had ordered one each as it was so good. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening but at £150, it's somewhere that we'll reserve for special occasions.

A very disappointing experience. Having an apartment on the marina that we use in the holidays this had been one of our favourite restaurants. We ate the night before at the upstairs Harbar on 6th and had a fantastic dinner and service was excellent! Downstairs a very different experience. We dined at the same time 6pm on both occasions being a party with children and two adults. Staff were unwelcoming and dismissive. We had to request several times to order drinks and meals. Staff were unhelpful when we had questions about the menu. They had broccoli shown on the menu but then told us they had none and the only other vegetable side alternative were peas. Mains were on the whole good with one not so good meal. Sides were average. Overall quality had seriously declined and lacking updating menus. I would seriously consider dining upstairs were the ambience is much better. Staff are very friendly and attentive and food is as good if not better! Will not be rushing back to The Jetty anytime soon.

We had the Mini Gastro lunch and it was amazing! From the amuse bouche to start with right up to the chocolate pudding dessert, each course was a revelation. I had the fish but my husband had roast pork and I tried some of his apple sauce and it was just lovely - like it was made from toffee apples and so delicious. If I was rich I'd eat there every week and never get tired of it. The souffle! Oh my GOD.

Excellent service throughout our visit. Kristina and the other staff were attentive and welcoming. We came for a wedding anniversary dinner and the staff gave us the feeling of celebrating it with us. The food was wonderful. We will be back !!!

Good service, locations and decor are the only possitives of our experience. We went for Mother's Day lunch and had the Mothers Day set menu (£65pp). No special things for us mum's, I've been to places where you get a flower or a glass of fizz for example. We had mains and puds due to timings etc. I had the mixed sea food grill, due to the location. 3 small fillets, 3 prawns and 6 mussels with a spinach leaf on each fillet. As sides weren't listed separately on the menu it didn't occur to me to order extra things like a potato side or veg. I then had the cheese board which had a supplement and didn't have enough crackers. Very underwhelmed!!! I could go on... my niece asked for plain pasta and it came with potato skins on it..... my conclusion is that he attention to detail was poor, compete meal experience not considered and not worth the money!

Lovely restaurant, decor, ambience, views, service and food! In Southampton to celebrate our son’s birthday, we chose the Sunday set lunch and all courses lovely and very reasonably priced. We would definitely return for a tasting menu next time we’re in Southampton. Recommend.

Wonderful meal at the Jetty, at Christchurch Harbour Hotel, with fantastic service from all - especially Daniel.

It’s my go to restaurant when I want to relax. Food as usual was superb, tried the Venison tartar with blackberries and beetroot as my starter followed by the Sea Bass with muscles. The latter was stunning, the curried muscles with the veloute melted in my mouth my old favourite the passion fruit soufflé had been replaced by a banana soufflé, however I asked for a passion fruit soufflé and that’s what they delivered. This is the reason in part why I come back. You dine at your own pace, the staff are friendly, courteous and knowledgeable, nothing is too much trouble. The choices of wines were fantastic and made the experience more enjoyable.

Without doubt a wonderful place to have lunch or any meal for that matter. The staff are a shining light and a credit to the restaurant. Gustavo was the ideal host. Attentive and knowledgeable about the food on offer. A high point of our visit.

Wow!! This was a really lovely and memorable evening. Made so much more so by restaurant manager Barrie, who couldn’t have been more fabulous. Food is excellent, beautifully presented and so delicious. We were lucky enough to eat in one of the jetty pods and were made to feel really special by Barrie.
